式中、初期勾配には初期硬化速度を用いる。本明細書の固体組立インクは、硬化速度約130〜約250ft/s、例えば約180〜約250ft/sまたは約200〜約250ft/sを示すことができる。UV硬化ランプに使用される電球の種類に応じて、硬化に使用される特性出力は約200nm〜約450nmであってもよい。
・R1は、(i)、(ii)、(iii)または(iv)である。
・(i)約1炭素原子〜約8炭素原子または約1炭素原子〜約5炭素原子などの、約1炭素原子〜約12炭素原子を有するアルキレン基(アルキレン基は、直鎖および分岐、飽和および不飽和、環式および非環式、置換および非置換アルキレン基を含む二価の脂肪族基またはアルキル基であり、アルキレン基中に、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)、
・(ii)約3炭素原子〜約10炭素原子または約5炭素原子〜約8炭素原子などの、約1炭素原子〜約15炭素原子を含むアリーレン基(アリーレン基は、置換および非置換アリーレン基を含む二価の芳香族基またはアリール基であり、アリーレン基中に、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)、
・(iii)約6炭素原子〜約22炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約12炭素原子などの、約6炭素原子〜約32炭素原子を含むアリールアルキレン基(アリールアルキレン基は、置換および非置換アリールアルキレン基を含む二価アリールアルキル基であり、アリールアルキレン基のアルキル部分は、直鎖または分岐、飽和または不飽和、環式または非環式であってもよく、アリールアルキレン基のアリールまたはアルキル部分のいずれかに、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)、または
・(iv)約6炭素原子〜約22炭素原子または約7炭素原子〜約15炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約32炭素原子を有するアルキルアリーレン基(アルキルアリーレン基は、置換および非置換アルキルアリーレン基を含む二価アルキルアリール基であり、アルキルアリーレン基のアルキル部分は、直鎖または分岐、飽和または不飽和、環式または非環式であってもよく、アルキルアリーレン基のアリールまたはアルキル部分のいずれかに、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)、
ここで、置換アルキレン、アリーレン、アリールアルキレンおよびアルキルアリーレン基上の置換基は、ハロゲン原子、シアノ基、ピリジン基、ピリジニウム基、エーテル基、アルデヒド基、ケトン基、エステル基、アミド基、カルボニル基、チオカルボニル基、スルフィド基、ニトロ基、ニトロソ基、アシル基、アゾ基、ウレタン基、ウレア基、その混合物などであってもよく、2個以上の置換基が一緒に結合して環を形成していてもよい。
・(i)約1炭素原子〜約48炭素原子または約1炭素原子〜約36炭素原子などの、約1炭素原子〜約54炭素原子を有するアルキレン基、
・(ii)約5炭素原子〜約13炭素原子または約5炭素原子〜約10炭素原子などの、約5〜約15個の炭素原子を有するアリーレン基、
・(iii)約7炭素原子〜約33炭素原子または約8炭素原子〜約15炭素原子などの、約6炭素原子〜約32炭素原子を有するアリールアルキレン基、または
・(iv)約6炭素原子〜約22炭素原子または約7炭素原子〜約15炭素原子など の、約6炭素原子〜約32炭素原子を有するアルキルアリーレン基。
・(a)光開始基、例えば次式の1−(4−(2−ヒドロキシエトキシ)フェニル)−2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチルプロパン−1−オンから誘導した基
(b)次の、(i)、(ii)、(iii)または(iv)である基。
・(i)約3炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約4炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約2炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を含むアルキル基(直鎖および分岐、飽和および不飽和、環式および非環式、置換および非置換アルキル基を含み、アルキル基中に、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)、
・(ii)フェニルなどの、約5炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を有するアリール基(置換および非置換アリール基を含み、アリール基中に、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)、
・(iii)ベンジルなどの、約5炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を有するアリールアルキル基(置換および非置換アリールアルキル基を含み、アリールアルキル基のアルキル部分は、直鎖または分岐、飽和または不飽和、環式または非環式であってもよく、アリールアルキル基のアリールまたはアルキル部分のいずれかに、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)、または、
・(iv)トリルなどの、約5炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を有するアルキルアリール基(置換および非置換アルキルアリール基を含み、アルキルアリール基のアルキル部分は、直鎖または分岐、飽和または不飽和、環式または非環式であってもよく、アルキルアリール基のアリールまたはアルキル部分のいずれかに、酸素、窒素、硫黄、ケイ素、リン、ホウ素などのヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい)。
(ii)約5炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を有する、直鎖および分岐、飽和および不飽和、環式および非環式、置換および非置換アルキル基を含むアルキル基であり、アルキル基中にヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい。
(iii)約5炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を有する、置換および非置換アリール基を含むアリール基であり、アリール基中に、ヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい。
(iv)約5炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を有する、置換および非置換アリールアルキル基を含むアリールアルキル基であり、アリールアルキル基のアルキル部分は、直鎖または分岐、飽和または不飽和、環式または非環式であってもよく、アリールアルキル基のアリールまたはアルキル部分のいずれかに、ヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい。
(v)約5炭素原子〜約60炭素原子または約6炭素原子〜約30炭素原子などの、約5炭素原子〜約100炭素原子を有する、置換および非置換アルキルアリール基を含むアルキルアリール基であり、アルキルアリール基のアルキル部分は、直鎖または分岐、飽和または不飽和、環式または非環式であってもよく、アルキルアリール基のアリールまたはアルキル部分のいずれかに、ヘテロ原子が存在しても存在していなくてもよい。

Claims (17)
- 複数の色それぞれのための固体組立インクと、支持材と、を含むカラー三次元(3D)印刷システムであって、
前記複数の色それぞれのための固体組立インクにおける各固体組立インクは、
40〜70重量パーセントの量の常温で固体であるアクリラートと、
10〜45重量パーセントの量の非硬化性ワックスと、
1〜15重量パーセントの量の硬化性ワックスと、
光開始剤と、
色素と、を含み、
ここで、各固体組立インクの初期硬化速度および最終硬度が、前記複数の色それぞれについて同じになるように、各固体組立インクは前記非硬化性ワックスと前記硬化性ワックスとの比によって調節される硬化速度を有し、
前記支持材は、各組立インクに使用される前記非硬化性ワックスを含み、各組立インクの堆積のための足場を提供する、
カラー三次元(3D)印刷システム。 - 各固体組立インクが、前記複数の色それぞれについて異なる初期硬度を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 各組立インクの前記硬化速度が、各組立インク用に選択された前記光開始剤に部分的に依存しない、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の色がシアン、マゼンタ、イエローおよびブラックを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記色がシアンである場合、前記非硬化性ワックスと前記硬化性ワックスとの重量比は、2:1〜5:1の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記色がブラックである場合、前記非硬化性ワックスと前記硬化性ワックスとの重量比は、2:1〜5:1の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記色がイエローである場合、前記非硬化性ワックスと前記硬化性ワックスとの重量比は、0.5:1〜4:1の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記色がマゼンタである場合、前記非硬化性ワックスと前記硬化性ワックスとの重量比は、0.5:1〜4:1の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 硬化前の層の厚さが10ミクロン〜5mmの範囲で最大となる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 組立インクのそれぞれがShore Durometer硬度値で5〜60単位の範囲の初期硬度を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 複数の色それぞれのための固体組立インクを準備する工程であって、
前記複数の色それぞれのための固体組立インクにおける各固体組立インクは、
40〜70重量パーセントの量の常温で固体であるアクリラートと、
10〜45重量パーセントの量の非硬化性ワックスと、
1〜15重量パーセントの量の硬化性ワックスと、
光開始剤と、
色素と、を含み、
ここで、各固体組立インクの硬化速度および最終硬度が、前記複数の色それぞれについて同じになるように、各固体組立インクは前記非硬化性ワックスと前記硬化性ワックスとの比によって調節される硬化速度を有する、
固体組立インクを準備する工程と、
支持材を準備する工程であって、
前記支持材は、各組立インクに使用される前記非硬化性ワックスを含み、三次元物品の幾何構造によって規定される少なくとも1つの固体組立インク層の堆積のための1つまたは複数の足場層を提供する、
支持材を準備する工程と、
複数の組立インク層に1種または複数の固体組立インクを堆積させて基材上に三次元物品を形成する工程であって、前記複数の組立インク層の各堆積組立インク層が、(1)前記基材、(2)前の固体組立インク層の一部、(3)前記1つまたは複数の足場層の一部、またはそれらの組み合わせの上に配置される工程と、
前記1つまたは複数の足場層に前記支持材を堆積させる工程であって、各堆積足場層が、(1)前記基材、(2)前の固体組立インク層の一部、(3)前記1つもしくは複数の足場層の一部、またはそれらの組み合わせの上に配置される工程と、
前記複数の組立インク層のそれぞれを硬化させて三次元物品を形成する工程と、
を含む、三次元物品をカラー3D印刷する方法。 - 硬化前の前記複数の層の1つの厚さが10ミクロン〜5mmの範囲で最大となる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 三次元物品を完成した後に前記支持材を除去する工程をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記除去する工程は、前記支持材の洗浄、溶融または物理的除去を含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 2種以上の組立インクをブレンドして、層を堆積させる前にブレンド組立インクを使用して新しい色を形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記堆積させる工程ではインクジェットプリンタを用いる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化させる工程はUV照射を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
