Description
Claims (15)
- 電気外科用鉗子であって、
a.一対の作業アームであって、
i.第1の作業アーム及び第2の作業アームであって、各々が内面を有する、第1の作業アーム及び第2の作業アームと、
ii.前記第1の作業アーム、前記第2の作業アーム、又は両方の前記内面に位置付けられた1つ以上の電極と、を備える、一対の作業アームと、
b.選択的に係合可能な起動システムであって、
i.制御ユニットと、
ii.起動スイッチと、
iii.係合解除機構と、を備える、選択的に係合可能な起動システムと、を備え、
前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームが、互いに対して横方向に移動可能であり、そのため、前記起動スイッチが、前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームを共に閉じることによって、前記係合解除機構が係合位置にあるときに前記係合解除機構により押され、前記制御ユニットに信号を送信し、次に、前記1つ以上の電極に治療信号を送信し、
前記係合解除機構が係合解除位置にあり、かつ前記作業アームが閉じているときに、前記治療信号が前記制御ユニットから前記1つ以上の電極に送信されることを阻止する、電気外科用鉗子。 - 前記係合解除機構が、前記係合位置と前記係合解除位置との間を移動するシャトルを含む、請求項1に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記係合解除機構が、前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチが作動されないように、前記シャトルが係合解除位置にあるときに、前記起動スイッチを受容するソケットを有し、前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチが作動されるように、前記ソケットが、前記係合位置において、前記起動スイッチからずれている、請求項2に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記係合解除機構が、前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチがアンビル表面によって作動されるように、前記係合位置において前記起動スイッチと整列される前記アンビル表面を含み、前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチが作動されないように、前記アンビル表面が、前記係合解除位置において、前記起動スイッチからずれている、請求項2に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記係合解除機構が、ソケット及びアンビル表面を含み、そのため、前記シャトルが前記係合解除位置にあるときに、前記起動スイッチが、前記ソケットと整列され、前記起動スイッチが前記ソケットと嵌合することを可能にし、そのため、前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記スイッチが作動せず、前記シャトルが前記係合位置にあるときに、前記起動スイッチが前記アンビル表面と整列され、そのため、前記第1の作業アーム及び第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチが前記アンビル表面によって作動される、請求項2に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記係合解除機構が、前記起動スイッチと接触している板ばねを含み、そのため、前記シャトルが前記係合位置にあるときに、前記板ばねが撓み、前記第1の作業アーム及び第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチを作動させ、前記シャトルが前記係合解除位置にあるときに、前記第1の作業アーム及び前記第2の作業アームが閉じているときに板ばねが前記スイッチを作動させない、請求項2に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記係合解除機構が、起動スイッチガードを含み、そのため、
前記シャトルが前記係合解除位置にあるときに、前記起動スイッチガードが前記起動スイッチと整列され、前記第1の作業アーム及び第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチが押圧されることを妨げ、
前記シャトルが前記係合位置にあるときに、前記起動スイッチガードが前記起動スイッチからずれており、前記第1の作業アーム及び第2の作業アームが閉じているときに、前記起動スイッチを作動させることを可能にする、請求項2に記載の電気外科用鉗子。 - 前記起動スイッチが、シャトル上に担持される、請求項3、4、5、6、7のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記係合解除位置における前記シャトルが、1つ以上の外部起動ボタンを露出させ、前記係合位置における前記シャトルが、前記外部起動ボタンを覆う、請求項2に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記外部起動ボタンが、押圧されたときに、前記第1の作業アーム、第2の作業アーム、又は両方を通して、1つ以上の治療電流を送信する、請求項9に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- ブレードを更に備える、請求項1に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記ブレードが、シャトルに接続され、前記係合位置において前記ブレードが露出されず、前記係合解除位置において前記ブレードが前記第1の作業アーム及び第2の作業アームを超えて延在する、請求項11に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記ブレードが、電極を有する、請求項11に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記係合解除位置において前記シャトルが1つ以上の外部起動ボタンを露出させ、該外部起動ボタンが押圧されたときに、前記第1の作業アーム、前記第2の作業アーム、前記ブレード、又はこれらの組み合わせを通して1つ以上の治療電流を送信し、前記係合位置において前記シャトルが前記1つ以上の外部起動ボタンを覆う、請求項12に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
- 前記1つ以上の外部起動ボタンが押圧されたときに、1つ以上の治療電流が、前記ブレードと遠隔電極との間に送信される、請求項14に記載の電気外科用鉗子。
