Claims (8)
- 電極端子と安全ベントとをそれぞれ備え、前記各電極端子と前記各安全ベントとが一側に向かって整列するように、互いに一定間隔をおいて水平および垂直方向に配列された複数の2次電池を含む2次電池ユニットと、
前記2次電池ユニットの外部をバンド形態に囲み前記2次電池ユニットを所定の圧力で圧迫するための圧迫プレートと、
前記各電極端子と前記各安全ベントをカバーし、前記各安全ベントとそれぞれ連結されて、前記各安全ベントからそれぞれ排出されるガスが第1位置に移動するように誘導するダクトが形成され、且つ、前記第1位置で前記ダクトと連結されるように結合したベントホール部材を含む絶縁カバーと、
前記2次電池ユニットと前記圧迫プレートとの間に位置し、前記複数の2次電池がそれぞれ固定されるように前記2次電池ユニットをカバーする固定カバーユニットと、
を含み、
前記固定カバーユニットは、
前記2次電池ユニットの上部をカバーし、前記水平方向に配列された前記複数の2次電池の間を一定間隔に分離するための第1バリアが形成された上部カバーと、
前記2次電池ユニットの下部をカバーし、前記水平方向に配列された複数の2次電池の間を一定間隔に分離するための第2バリアが形成された下部カバーと、
前記上部カバーと前記下部カバーとの間に結合して前記垂直方向に配列された前記複数の2次電池の間を一定間隔に分離するための第3バリアと、
を含む
ことを特徴とするバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記2次電池ユニットと前記絶縁カバーとの間に位置し、前記固定カバーユニットに結合し、且つ、前記電極端子とそれぞれ電気的に連結されたバスバーが備えられたバスバーホルダーをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記各安全ベントに対応する位置で前記バスバーホルダーを貫通して結合し、前記垂直方向に配列された複数の2次電池の前記各安全ベントに対応するように形成された複数のガスホールを備え、且つ、前記垂直方向に配列された複数の2次電池の前記各安全ベントと前記ダクトとを連結する複数のガスケットをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーホルダーの両側端部は、前記固定カバーユニットの両側端部にそれぞれボルト結合し、
前記固定カバーユニットの上下面にそれぞれ少なくとも一つの突出部が形成され、
前記バスバーホルダーの上下端部にリング形状の係止部が形成されて前記突出部が前記係止部に嵌められて結合することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記絶縁カバーの両側端部は前記バスバーホルダーの両側端部とともに前記固定カバーユニットの両側端部にそれぞれボルト結合することを特徴とする請求項2から4のいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーを介して前記2次電池ユニットと電気的に連結された前記2次電池ユニットの他側に配置された保護回路部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2から5のいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記圧迫プレートは、前記2次電池ユニットの上部を囲みながら圧迫する上部圧迫プレートおよび前記上部圧迫プレートと、前記2次電池ユニットの下部を囲みながら圧迫する下部圧迫プレートとを含み、
前記上部圧迫プレートの両側端部はそれぞれ段差により折り曲げられ、
前記下部圧迫プレートの両側端部は前記上部圧迫プレートの両側端部内に置かれた状態で互いに溶接されていることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記絶縁カバーは、
前記各安全ベントとそれぞれ連結されるダクト溝と、
前記ダクト溝をカバーして前記ダクトが形成されるように前記絶縁カバーと結合したダクトカバー部材と、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
