Description
Claims (29)
- 手持ち式の動力工具又は園芸工具に給電するためのリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパックであって、
選択的に手持ち式の動力工具又は園芸工具に接続可能であり且つ手持ち式の動力工具又は園芸工具によって支持可能なハウジングと、
該ハウジング内に配置される複数の電池とを含み、
該複数の電池の各々は、各電池の少なくとも一部分を取り囲む弾性的に変形可能なクレードル内で、前記ハウジング内で支持され、前記弾性的に変形可能なクレードルは、前記複数の電池の各々の電池の側壁のための機械的保護をもたらすよう、側方縁を含む、
リチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。 - 各電池は、前記弾性的に変形可能なクレードルの面を通じて定められる電池通路内に配置され且つ支持される、請求項1に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記複数の電池は、直列に相互接続される2〜20の間の電池を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記複数の電池は、直列に相互接続される2〜10の間の電池を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記複数の電池は、直列に相互接続される3〜5の間の電池を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記電池の各々は、1.5アンペア−時間よりも大きい公称アンペア−時間容量を有する、請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記電池の各々は、2ボルト〜4.2ボルトの間の公称電池電圧を有する、請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記電池は、4ボルト〜40ボルトの間の結合出力電圧を有する、請求項1乃至7のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記電池の各々は、負極電極シートと、正極電極シートと、前記負極電極シートと前記正極電極シートとの間に積層されるリチウムポリマベースの基板とを含む、請求項1乃至8のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記電池の各々は、概ね平坦であり、電池厚さ及び電池幅を有し、前記電池厚さは、前記電池幅の15%未満である、請求項1乃至9のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記複数の電池は、各電池が前記電池のうちの他の電池に隣接して位置するよう、前記ハウジング内に層状にされ、前記隣接する電池の間に弾性的に変形可能な基板を更に含む、請求項10に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記弾性的に変形可能な基板は、前記弾性的に変形可能なクレードルを定め、前記側方縁は、前記弾性的に変形可能な基板と一体的に結合する、請求項11に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記隣接する電池の間の距離が、前記電池幅の5%よりも大きい、請求項11に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記弾性的に変形可能な基板は、熱伝導性であり、或いは熱伝導性部品を含む、請求項11に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記電池のうちの少なくとも2つの隣接する電池の間に配置される少なくとも1つのセンサ要素を含み、該センサ要素は、バッテリコントローラにセンサ信号を提供する、請求項11に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記センサ要素は、温度センサを含む、請求項15に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記センサ要素は、温度センサを含み、第2の圧力感知要素が、前記電池のうちの少なくとも2つの隣接する電池の間に配置され、バッテリコントローラに圧力センサ信号を提供する、請求項15に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記ハウジングは、ハウジング容積を定め、前記複数の電池は、結合バッテリ容積をもたらし、前記ハウジング容積に対する前記結合バッテリ容積の比率は、80%よりも大きい、請求項2乃至17のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記電池の各々は、前記電池の負極シートと接続される第1の接続リードと、前記電池の正極シートと接続される第2の接続リードとを含み、前記第1の接続リードは、前記電池の第1の縁から延び、前記第2の接続リードは、前記電池の第2の縁から延び、該第2の縁は、前記電池の第1の縁とは異なる縁である、請求項1乃至18のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記第2の縁は、前記第1の縁と対称的に反対である、請求項19に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記複数の電池は、各電池が前記電池のうちの他の電池に隣接して位置するよう、前記ハウジング内に積み重ねられ、前記接続リードのうちの少なくとも1つが、隣接する電池の接続リードと接合させられる、請求項19又は20に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 調節される電池の間に延びる前記接合させられる接続リードに当接する凸状の案内表面を有するガイド部材を更に含む、請求項21に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記ガイド部材は、前記調節される電池の間で滑らかな半径について前記接合させられる接続リードを支持する、請求項22に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 隣接する電池の間に弾性的に変形可能な基板を更に含む、請求項22又は23に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。
- 前記ガイド部材及び隣接する電池の間の弾性的に変形可能な基板は、単一の一体的な部材である、請求項24に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパック。

リチウムポリマ工具バッテリ。 - 動力工具ハウジングと、
該動力工具ハウジング内の電気モータと、
電気エネルギ源から前記電気モータに供給される電力を制御するモータ制御回路と、
バッテリハウジングが前記動力工具ハウジングに接続されるときに、前記モータ制御回路及び前記電気モータに電力を供給する、請求項1乃至26のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマベースのバッテリパックとを含む、
リチウムポリマバッテリを動力源とする工具。 - 当該リチウムポリマバッテリを動力源とする工具は、ドリル又は鋸のような手持ち式の動力工具、芝刈機又はエッジトリマのような園芸工具、又は真空掃除機のような床掃除機のうちの1つである、請求項28に記載のリチウムポリマバッテリを動力源とする工具。
