Description
以下、本発明の実施の形態を添付図面にしたがって説明する。
図1は、本実施の形態に係るターボ用回転センサを搭載したターボチャージャの概略構成図である。
ターボチャージャ10には、ターボチャージャ10の回転速度、すなわちコンプレッサホイール17の回転速度を検出するターボ用回転センサ1が搭載されている。
以上説明したように、本実施の形態に係るターボ用回転センサ1では、コンプレッサホイール17のタービン12側の端部にコンプレッサホイール17と共に回転するように設けられ、周方向に極性の異なる複数の磁極2a,2bが形成されると共に、磁化方向が回転軸と平行な軸方向となるように形成された板状の磁石2と、コンプレッサ側ハウジング15にコンプレッサホイール17に臨むように設けられると共に、磁石2に臨むように設けられ、磁石2による磁界の強度の変化を測定可能なセンサ部3と、を備えている。
次に、以上説明した実施の形態から把握される技術思想について、実施の形態における符号等を援用して記載する。ただし、以下の記載における各符号等は、特許請求の範囲における構成要素を実施の形態に具体的に示した部材等に限定するものではない。

Claims (6)
- 車両の内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ、前記内燃機関からの排気により回転駆動されるタービンホイールを有するタービンと、前記内燃機関の吸気通路に設けられ、前記タービンホイールの回転により回転駆動されるコンプレッサホイールを有するコンプレッサと、を備えたターボチャージャであって、
前記コンプレッサホイールの回転速度を検出するターボ用回転センサが搭載され、
前記ターボ用回転センサは、
前記コンプレッサホイールの前記タービン側の端部に前記コンプレッサホイールと共に回転するように設けられ、前記コンプレッサホイールの回転軸を中心とする周方向に極性の異なる複数の磁極が形成されると共に、磁化方向が前記回転軸と平行な軸方向となるように形成された板状の磁石と、
前記コンプレッサのハウジングに前記コンプレッサホイールに臨むように設けられると共に、前記磁石に臨むように設けられ、前記磁石による磁界の強度の変化を測定可能なセンサ部と、を備え、
前記センサ部は、前記コンプレッサホイールの前記タービン側の端部よりも前記タービンから離れた位置に配置されている、
ターボチャージャ。 - 前記センサ部は、前記ハウジングの外面に前記ハウジングを貫通しないように形成されたセンサ穴に収容されている、
請求項1に記載のターボチャージャ。 - 前記センサ部の先端部が、前記磁石と軸方向に対向するように構成されている、
