Claims (8)
- 複数のワークピースを互いに固定するために使用されるファスナーにおいて、
第1の端部及び前記第1の端部に対向する第2の端部を有する細長いシャンク部と、前記第1の端部に近接して位置する平滑な円筒状シャンク部と、前記第2の端部に位置し、複数のネジ山を有するネジ付き部と、前記第1の端部に位置するヘッドと、前記ヘッドと前記平滑な円筒状シャンク部との中間に位置する環状溝と、を含むボルトと、
スリーブであって、第1の端部と、前記スリーブの前記第1の端部に対向する第2の端部と、前記スリーブの前記第1の端部に位置するヘッドと、前記スリーブの前記ヘッドから前記スリーブの前記第2の端部へ延在する細長いシャンク部と、前記スリーブの前記第1の端部から前記スリーブの前記第2の端部へ延在する内部キャビティを形成する内壁と、前記スリーブの前記細長いシャンク部内に位置する細長い部分と前記スリーブの前記ヘッドに位置する凹部とを含む前記内部キャビティと、前記凹部の底部で前記スリーブの前記細長いシャンク部に近接して位置する環状タブと、を含むスリーブ、とを含み、
前記スリーブは前記ボルトを受け入れるように適合され、前記ボルトの前記シャンク部が前記スリーブの前記内部キャビティの前記細長い部分内に配置され、前記ボルトの前記ヘッドが前記スリーブの前記ヘッドの前記凹部内に配置され、
前記ファスナーが、その取り付け状態にて前記複数のワークピースをクランプする場合、前記スリーブの前記環状タブは変形されて前記ボルトの前記環状溝に嵌合する、ファスナー。 - 前記ファスナーが前記取り付け状態にない場合、前記スリーブの前記環状タブは、前記ボルトの長手方向軸に対して斜めに延在する斜面と、前記ボルトの前記長手方向軸と実質的に平行な軸方向の側面とを含む、請求項1に記載のファスナー。
- 前記ファスナーが前記取り付け状態にて前記複数のワークピースをクランプする場合、前記スリーブの前記環状タブは、前記環状タブの前記斜面及び軸方向の側面が内側に移動するように変形される、請求項2に記載のファスナー。
- 前記ボルトの前記ネジ付き部分の前記複数のネジ山に螺合するように適合された雌ネジを有するナットを更に備える、請求項3に記載のファスナー。
- 前記ナットは、第1の端部、前記ナットの前記第1の端部に対向する第2の端部、及び前記ナットの前記第1の端部に位置するテーパ状部を含む、請求項4に記載のファスナー。
- 前記ファスナーが前記取り付け状態にて前記複数のワークピースをクランプする場合、前記スリーブの前記内部キャビティの前記細長い部分は、変形して前記ナットを受け入れるように適合されている、請求項5に記載のファスナー。
- 前記ナットは、前記ナットの前記第1の端部から前記ナットの前記第2の端部へ延在する複数のスプラインを含む、請求項6に記載のファスナー。
- 前記スリーブの前記シャンク部は、前記スリーブの前記第2の端部に近接して位置するアニール領域を含み、前記スリーブは、前記ファスナーを取り付けた状態である場合にバルブを形成するように適合されている、請求項3に記載のファスナー。
