Description
本願は、2014年12月3日に提出され、「多重入力データストリームにわたるパターンマッチング(PATTERN MATCHING ACROSS MULTIPLE INPUT DATA STREAMS)」と題された米国特許出願第14/559,550号と、2013年12月5日に提出され、「多重入力データストリームにわたるパターンマッチング(PATTERN MATCHING ACROSS MULTIPLE INPUT DATA STREAMS)」と題された米国仮特許出願第61/912,344号とに対する優先権を主張するものであって、各々の内容全体があらゆる目的のために引用により援用されている。
従来のデータベースシステムにおいては、データが通常は表の形式である1つ以上のデータベースに格納される。格納されたデータは、次いで、構造化クエリ言語(structured query language:SQL)などのデータ管理言語を用いて照会および処理される。たとえば、SQLクエリは、データベースに格納されたデータから関連データを識別するように規定および実行されてもよい。このため、SQLクエリは、データベースに格納された有限集合データ上で実行される。さらに、SQLクエリが実行される場合、このSQLクエリは、有限データ集合に対して1回だけ実行され、有限の静的な結果を生成する。このため、データベースは、有限の格納データ集合に対してクエリを実行するために最適に実装される。
いくつかの実施形態においては、1つ以上のアプリケーションに関する多重入力データストリームにわたるパターンを検出するための技術(たとえば、1つ以上のプロセッサによって実行可能なコードまたは命令を格納する方法、システム、非一時的なコンピュータ読取可能媒体)が提供される。

ここで、「$streamName」は、同種スキーマにおけるデータタイプチャーを有する属性を指す。「$streamName」属性は、入力データストリームから受信された入力タプル(イベント)の入力データストリームソースを識別する。イベント「e」について、「$streamName」属性は、「e」がイベントであるストリームエイリアスの名前を格納してもよい。これにより、「$streamName」属性は、現在の入力イベント(タプル)が属する特定の入力データストリームの識別を可能にする。「c1」は、同種スキーマにおける共通属性を指す。この場合、共通属性は、関与する入力データストリームすべてにおいて同じデータタイプおよび同じ名前を有する属性として識別される。たとえば、共通属性「c1」は、入力データストリームS1および入力データストリームS2に関する第1のアプリケーションおよび第2のアプリケーションにアクセスするユーザを識別するユーザ属性を指してもよい。いくつかの例においては、共通属性を含む同種スキーマは、PARTITION by分節の規格で、それ自体がさまざまな入力データストリームからのイベントを含み得るサブストリームを作成することを可能にし得る。

- コンピュータによって実行される方法であって、
コンピュータ実行可能命令を用いて構成されるコンピュータシステムが、第1の入力データストリームおよび第2の入力データストリームを少なくとも含む複数の入力データストリームを受取るステップと、
前記コンピュータシステムが、前記第1の入力データストリームの第1の属性を前記第2の入力データストリーム中に存在しないものとして識別するステップと、
前記コンピュータシステムが、前記第1の入力データストリームの前記第1の属性についての第1のダイナミックデータタイプを生成するステップとを含み、
前記第1のダイナミックデータタイプは、前記第1の入力データストリームの前記第1の属性に対応する第1のデータ値を格納するように構成され、
前記方法は、さらに、
