Description

The present invention relates to a leg end structure for a fitting including a leg end for closing an end of a leg tube constituting a leg of the fitting, and a fitting including the same.

As a fixture which belongs to the said technical field, what is disclosed by following patent document 1 is known, for example.
The leg end provided to the fixture is attached to the end of the leg tube extending from the base to the ground (caster) of the leg of the fixture with the shaft inserted and fitted in the end. The stem portion of the leg end is screwed with a set screw in a direction orthogonal to the insertion direction to prevent the leg tube from coming off.

Patent No. 3987416

By the way, if the leg tube has an angular tube shape, it is easy to secure the seating surface of the set screw, but if it has a curved leg outer surface like a cylindrical leg tube, a washer for securing the seating surface of the set screw. It is desirable to use a member. This washer member will have a curved alignment surface that aligns with the outer surface of the leg, but if the washer member rotates with the set screw due to tightening of the set screw, etc., the alignment surface aligns with the outer surface of the leg There is a problem that a gap is generated between them, which makes it difficult to manage the torque of the set screw.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and a set end structure for a fitting and a set including the same, and a set screw screwed from an outer peripheral side of the leg tube to a leg end attached to a tip end of the leg tube. The purpose is to make it easy and secure to tighten the

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention adopts the following means.
That is, the leg end structure for a fixture according to the present invention inserts a leg tube extending from the fixture body toward the ground portion, and a tip end opening in the tip portion of the leg tube in the longitudinal direction of the leg tube on the ground portion side. And a leg end attached to the leg tube in a state in which the shaft is inserted into the tip end, and penetrating an outer peripheral wall of the tip in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the leg tube And a set screw screwed on the shaft inserted into the tip to limit removal of the shaft from the tip, and a seat for the set screw is formed outside the outer peripheral wall A washer member, the leg end including a ground-side protrusion projecting from the tip opening toward the ground contact portion, and the washer member is disposed between the leg end and the washer member on the ground side Engage with the projection to restrict rotation of the washer member with the set screw Comprising a corotation restricting unit that.
According to this configuration, the leg tube is easily and reliably restricted by the corotation restriction portion which causes the washer member to be engaged with the ground-side projection with the rotation of the washer member for the setting screw. Even in the case of having a curved outer surface, torque control of the set screw can be performed easily and reliably.
That is, in an arrangement in which the outer peripheral wall comprises a curved leg outer surface and the washer member comprises a curved alignment surface aligned with the leg outer surface, the alignment surface aligns with the leg outer surface when the washer member rotates with the set screw. Otherwise, a gap will be created between them, making it difficult to manage the torque of the set screw. On the other hand, by restricting the rotation of the washer member by the rotation restricting portion, the alignment state of the washer member with the outer peripheral wall can be easily and reliably maintained, and torque management of the set screw can be performed easily and reliably.
Here, in the case of molding the leg end, it is conceivable to set the mold split direction to a direction (radial direction) intersecting with the longitudinal direction of the leg tube and the leg end. If it is going to be formed, an overhang will occur at the alignment surface of the washer member to the curved outer surface of the leg, and it is necessary to take measures such as using a slide type. Alternatively, it is necessary to set the mold split direction to the longitudinal direction of the leg tube and the leg end. For this reason, although the subject that the manufacturing cost of a leg end tool is increased or a taper end of a leg end is caused by a draft taper arises, such a subject does not arise in this invention. In particular, since the shaft portion inserted into the leg tube does not have a tapered shape, it is possible to maintain a robust support state with less rattling against a moment acting on the caster receptacle due to the ground contact reaction force.

Further, in the above-described leg end structure for furniture, the washer member may be configured to include a washer outer surface connected to the outer surface of the ground-side protrusion in a flat shape in a state of being attached to the leg tube.
According to this configuration, the appearance of the set screw periphery is improved by continuously connecting the separate washer member and the ground side protrusion (leg end tool), and the unevenness in the set screw periphery is suppressed, which is favorable. The touch feeling and the ease of cleaning can be obtained.

Further, in the above-described leg end structure for a fixture, the ground-side projection may be formed in a bowl shape so as to cover a tip surface on the side of the ground portion of the leg tube.
According to this configuration, it is possible to close the distal end opening of the leg tube while suppressing the exposure of the distal end surface of the leg tube.

Further, in the above-described leg end structure for a fixture, the common rotation restricting portion is also configured to include a convex portion and a concave portion which are respectively formed on the opposing portions of the washer member and the ground side protruding portion with the other. Good.
According to this configuration, the washer member is configured as a separate member by restricting the rotation of the washer member by the engagement of the convex portion and the concave portion formed on the respective opposing portions of the washer member and the ground-side protrusion. The relative positional relationship of the leg end can be easily and reliably determined, and the appearance can be improved.

Further, in the above-described leg end structure for furniture, the concave portion is formed in the ground-side protrusion, and is opened on the outer peripheral side of the ground-side protrusion in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the leg tube. In the shaft portion, a screw hole into which the set screw is screwed may be formed substantially parallel to the opening direction toward the outer peripheral side of the ground-side protrusion in the recess.
According to this configuration, the recess formed in the leg end tool and the screw hole are formed substantially parallel to each other, so that the recess and the screw hole can be simultaneously molded without requiring measures such as using a slide die. It is possible to reduce the manufacturing cost.

Further, according to the present invention, there is provided a fixture according to any one of the above-described fixture end for a fixture, wherein the leg tube extends in an inclined state with respect to the floor surface so that the contact portion side is lower in the longitudinal direction. including.
According to this configuration, even when the leg end is attached to the inclined leg pipe so that the ground contact side is lowered, the shaft inserted into the leg pipe does not have a tapered shape, so that the leg end can It is possible to maintain a strong supporting state with less backlash even for the acting moment.

According to the present invention, in a leg end structure for a fixture and a fixture including the same, tightening of a set screw screwed from the outer peripheral side of the leg tube to the leg end attached to the tip of the leg tube is facilitated and ensured. be able to.

The shaft portion 21 is constituted by a major axis wall 21a parallel to the major axis of the sectional elliptical shape of the leg tube 15 and a minor axis wall 21b parallel to the minor axis of the sectional elliptical shape of the leg tube 15. On the outer periphery of the shaft portion 21, a plurality of groove portions 21c parallel to the axial direction (the direction along the axis C1) are formed. The major wall 21a is provided singly so as to pass through the axis C1, and the minor walls 21b are provided in a pair so as to sandwich the axis C1 while avoiding the axis C1. A portion forming a screw hole 21d in which the set screw 19 is screwed is a cylindrical portion 21e centering on the screw hole 21d, and the width in the short axis direction is partially increased from the long wall 21a.

The shaft portion 21 can be attached to the leg tube 15 by inserting the shaft portion 21 into the end portion 16 on the caster 5 a side of the leg tube 15. The shaft portion 21 has a sufficient length in the axial direction to the extent that rattling does not occur even if a ground contact reaction force is input to the collar portion 25 from the caster 5 a. The shaft portion 21 is inserted with the end edges of the major wall 21a and the minor shaft 21b in sliding contact, so the frictional resistance at the time of being inserted into the leg tube 15 is small, and the mounting and dismounting work on the leg tube 15 is easy Make it By lengthening the shaft portion 21, even when the inclination angle of the leg tube 15 is large and a large load is applied to the shaft portion 21, the caster receiver 20 is stably held by the leg tube 15, and rattling is effectively performed. It is prevented.

On the caster 5 a side of the shaft portion 21 in the caster receiver 20, a thick-walled block-shaped flange portion 25 having a diameter larger than that of the shaft portion 21 is integrally formed. The collar portion 25 has a mounting hole 25a to which the vertical support shaft 5b of the caster 5a is inserted and attached. The mounting hole 25 a is opened downward at the lower end of the flange 25, and the upper part thereof is provided so as to project toward the end of the shaft 21 on the flange 25 side. At the end of the shaft 21 on the flange 25 side, a bulging portion 25 b that forms the upper portion of the mounting hole 25 a is provided.

The circumference of the lower end opening of the mounting hole 25a in the flange portion 25 is a caster mounting surface 25c which is orthogonal to the mounting hole 25a and parallel (horizontal) to the floor surface F.
Here, the distal end surface 16b of the leg tube 15 is formed along the inclined surface K1 inclined such that the lower side in the long axis direction of the cross-sectional elliptical shape is located on the base end side with respect to the plane orthogonal to the axis C1. . The collar portion 25 forms an opposing surface 25 d inclined to match the inclination of the distal end surface 16 b of the leg tube 15. The opposing surface 25 d faces and abuts on the distal end surface 16 b of the leg tube 15, whereby the distal end surface 16 b of the leg tube 15 is covered by the collar 25. The collar portion 25 is provided slightly larger in diameter than the leg tube 15.

The lower end facing the floor surface F becomes wider in the axial direction by the tip end surface 16b of the leg tube 15 being inclined as described above. For this reason, while becoming easy to ensure the caster attachment surface 25c, it becomes easy to provide the below-mentioned common rotation control part 35 in the leg pipe 15 side of the caster attachment surface 25c.

Attached to the distal end portion 16 of the leg tube 15 is a set screw 19 which penetrates the outer peripheral wall 16 c in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction and is screwed into the screw hole 21 d of the shaft portion 21 inserted into the distal end portion 16. . The set screw 19 regulates the detachment of the shaft 21 from the tip end 16 and thereby regulates the detachment of the caster holder 20 from the leg tube 15. Below the tip end portion 16 of the leg tube 15, an insertion hole 16d for the set screw 19 is formed.

<Washer member>
A washer member 30 forming a seat for the set screw 19 is attached to the lower outer periphery of the outer peripheral wall 16 c below the distal end portion 16 of the leg tube 15. The washer member 30 is, for example, a resin molded product integrally formed of the same resin material as the caster receiver 20, and has a substantially rectangular shape having a washer side surface 30b parallel to the axis C1 when viewed from the axial direction of the set screw 19. None, formed in a flat shape in which the axial thickness of the set screw 19 is reduced.

The washer member 30 forms a curved alignment surface 31 that is aligned with the lower curved outer peripheral surface (leg outer surface 17) of the outer peripheral wall 16c when attached to the leg tube 15. The washer member 30 is provided on the side opposite to the alignment surface 31. The washer lower surface 30a is connected to the lower surface 26a of the flange 25 formed on the side of the leg pipe 15 of the caster mounting surface 25c. Form In the central portion of the washer member 30, an insertion hole 30c for the set screw 19 is formed, and a seat 30d for sinking the head of the set screw 19 with respect to the washer lower surface 30a is formed.

While the washer member 30 aligns the alignment surface 31 with the outer surface 17 of the leg, corotation of the set screw 19 can be suppressed while the washer member 30 rotates together with the set screw 19. Is not aligned with the leg outer surface 17 and a gap is generated between them, making it difficult to manage the torque of the set screw 19. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the co-rotation restricting portion 35 that engages the washer member 30 with the collar portion 25 between the collar portion 25 and the washer member 30 and regulates rotation of the washer member 30 with the set screw 19. Is equipped. As a result, the alignment of the washer member 30 with the outer peripheral wall 16 c becomes easy and reliable, and the torque management of the set screw 19 becomes easy and reliable.

The co-rotation restricting portion 35 is formed at a portion of the washer member 30 facing the flange 25 in the axial direction, and faces the washer member 30 in the axial direction of the ridge 35 and a protrusion 35 a that protrudes toward the flange 25. And a concave portion 35b formed on the portion to which the convex portion 35a is fitted.

The protrusion 35 a is formed in a substantially rectangular shape in which the width in the same direction is narrowed with respect to the width in the direction orthogonal to the axis C 1 of the washer member 30 when viewed from the axial direction of the set screw 19.
The recess 35 b is formed in a substantially rectangular shape that matches the outer shape of the protrusion 35 a when viewed from the axial direction of the set screw 19. The concave portion 35b is opened to the washer member 30 side, and is also opened to the lower outer peripheral side of the collar portion 25, and the convex portion 35a can be fitted from any side of the washer member 30 side and the lower outer peripheral side.

A rectangular portion 26 formed to be continuous with the washer member 30 is provided at the lower portion of the collar portion 25. The rectangular portion 26 forms the flange lower surface 26a flatly connected to the washer lower surface 30a, and forms a flange side 26b flatly connected to the washer side surface 30b on both sides of the washer lower surface 30a. Thereby, the separate washer member 30 and the collar part 25 (caster receiver 20) are provided so that it may continue in a row continuously.

An inner circumferential surface 35 d forming a rectangular shape as viewed from the axial direction of the set screw 19 in the recess 35 b is formed substantially parallel to the axial direction of the screw hole 21 d of the shaft portion 21. As a result, when the cast split direction of the caster receiver 20 is in the direction (radial direction) intersecting with the longitudinal direction of the leg tube 15, the recess 35b and the screw hole 21d are not required without taking measures such as using a slide type. It is possible to mold at the same time. In the figure, reference numeral 35c denotes an outer peripheral surface forming a rectangular shape as viewed from the axial direction of the set screw 19 in the convex portion 35a.

<作用>
<Function>
Next, the operation will be described.
When attaching the caster receiver 20 to the leg tube 15, first, the shaft portion 21 of the caster receiver 20 is inserted into and fitted into the distal end portion 16 of the leg tube 15 with the axis C1 aligned. The shaft portion 21 has a length in the axial direction so as to withstand a large load, but a plurality of groove portions 21 c are formed on the outer periphery of the shaft portion 21 to reduce frictional resistance at the time of insertion into the leg tube 15. Thus, the caster receiver 20 can be easily attached to the leg tube 15 while the caster receiver 20 can be firmly held on the leg tube 15.

When the set screw 19 is screwed in order to restrict the shaft 21 from coming off from the end portion 16, the cylindrical leg outer surface 17 is formed by using the washer member 30 which forms the bearing surface of the set screw 19. The set screw 19 can be stably tightened also to the leg tube 15 that
At this time, by providing the co-rotation restricting portion 35 between the washer member 30 and the collar portion 25, the washer member 30 is engaged with the collar portion 25 to restrict the rotation of the washer member 30 with the set screw 19. The rotation of the washer member 30 with the set screw 19 is easily and reliably restricted. For this reason, even when the leg tube 15 has the leg outer surface 17 having a curved shape or the like, torque management of the set screw 19 can be performed easily and reliably.

Here, since the leg tube 15 has a substantially cylindrical shape and is inclined so that the side of the ground contact portion (caster 5a) is lower, the shaft portion 21 of the caster receiver 20 also has a shape inclined accordingly. In such a structure, since the moment acting on the shaft 21 is increased by the inclination of the leg tube 15, the shaft 21 needs to have a length. If this caster receiver 20 is to be molded with a mold in the longitudinal direction, the shaft portion 21 is tapered to move the mold, and as a result, it becomes tapered and can not sufficiently support the moment. Be done. Therefore, it is desirable to perform molding in which the mold is moved in the width direction (radial direction) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the shaft portion 21.

By the way, when molding is performed to move the mold in the width direction of the shaft portion 21, if the washer member 30 is integrally formed on the caster receiving portion in which the leg tube 15 corresponds to a substantially cylindrical shape, the alignment surface to the leg outer surface 17 It becomes difficult to mold the part which forms 31. That is, an overhang occurs at the alignment surface 31 to the cylindrical leg outer surface 17 in the washer member 30, and the mold can not be moved linearly in the width direction of the shaft portion 21, and the periphery of the washer member 30 is molded In order to do so, it is necessary to take measures such as providing a slide type. However, providing a small slide mold adjacent to a mold moving in the width direction of the shaft 21 makes it difficult to control the mold and increases the number of molding steps, resulting in an increase in manufacturing cost. . On the other hand, in the present embodiment in which the washer member 30 is provided separately from the caster receiver 20, the above-described problem does not occur.

Further, in the present embodiment, the appearance around the set screw 19 is improved by forming an external appearance in which the washer member 30 and the caster receiver 20 which are separate bodies are continuously connected. Furthermore, the washer member 30 may be provided with a seat 30d for sinking the head of the set screw 19, so that the unevenness around the set screw 19 is suppressed, and good touch feeling and ease of cleaning can be obtained. Moreover, since the collar portion 25 is formed to face the distal end surface 16b of the leg tube 15 so as to cover the distal end surface 16b, the exposure and step of the distal end surface 16b are suppressed and the distal end opening 16a of the leg tube 15 is formed. It can be occluded.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the washer member 30 is engaged with the collar portion 25 between the caster receiver 20 and the washer member 30 to restrict the rotation of the washer member 30 with the set screw 19. By providing the co-rotation restricting portion 35, co-rotation of the washer member 30 for the set screw 19 with the set screw 19 can be easily and reliably performed by the co-rotation restricting portion 35 that causes the washer member 30 to engage with the flange portion 25. The torque control of the set screw 19 can be performed easily and reliably even when the leg tube 15 has a curved outer surface 17 of the leg.
Further, the washer member 30 is provided with a washer outer surface (a washer lower surface 30a, a washer side 30b) which is flatly connected to the outer surface (the collar lower surface 26a, the collar side surface 26b) of the collar 25 in a mounted state to the leg tube 15. The washer member 30 and the collar portion 25 (caster receiver 20), which are separate bodies, form a continuous continuous appearance to improve the appearance around the set screw 19 and to suppress unevenness around the set screw 19 Good touch and ease of cleaning can be obtained.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment. For example, the rotation restricting portion may have a recess in the washer member 30 and a protrusion in the flange 25. Instead of the flange portion 25, a ground portion side projection that does not expand in diameter with respect to the shaft portion 21 may be provided. Instead of the caster 5a, a fixed leg may be provided. Although the example which applied this invention to the leg of the office chair was described, it is also possible to apply the same structure to the legs of fixtures, such as a desk, a shelf, and a cart.
