Description
Claims (13)
- 水を保持する容器と、
呼吸気体のフローを受け入れる、前記容器に通じている吸入構造、及び、前記容器から出て行く排出構造と、
前記吸入構造と前記排出構造との少なくとも1つに流体連結された第1の端部、本体部、及び、第2の端部を持つ導管要素と、
前記導管要素の前記第2の端部に結合され、前記容器によって保持される水の上に浮かぶように構成されたフロートアセンブリであって、前記容器の内部及び前記排出構造と流体連結されるように構成された複数のアパーチャを持つ前記フロートアセンブリと、
を有し、前記複数のアパーチャの各々は、前記容器が傾斜されたり、逆さまにされたりしても、前記水の表面より上に位置されるように構成され、前記導管要素の前記本体部は、前記導管要素の長軸に対し横方向に曲がること、及び前記導管要素の前記長軸の方向に伸長/収縮するこが可能であるような柔軟な本体部である、加湿器アセンブリ。 - 前記本体部は、ベローズ形状を持つ、請求項1記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記フロートアセンブリは、第1のコンポーネントと、前記第1のコンポーネントに結合された第2のコンポーネントと、を有し、前記フロートアセンブリの前記アパーチャが、前記第1のコンポーネントと前記第2のコンポーネントとの間に配置されている、請求項1記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記第2のコンポーネントは、前記導管要素の前記第2の端部を通じて前記複数のアパーチャの外へ半径方向に前記呼吸気体を分散させるためのバッフルとして機能するように構成された上面を持つ、請求項3記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記容器に結合されるとともに、吸入端、前記吸入端に結合された、前記吸入構造を有する吸入ポート、及び、前記排出構造を有する排出端を持つ、アダプタを更に有する、請求項1記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記導管要素は、単一の流路を持つ吸入管を有し、前記第1の端部は、前記吸入構造に流体連結されるが、前記排出構造には流体連結されない、請求項1記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記容器に結合されたアダプタを更に有し、前記アダプタは、吸入ポートと、排出ポートと、前記吸入ポートと前記排出ポートとの間に配置された第1のフロー分離器と、を持ち、前記吸入ポートは、前記吸入構造の一部であり、前記排出ポートは、前記排出構造の一部であり、前記導管要素の前記第1の端部は、前記吸入ポート及び前記排出ポートに流体連結されている、請求項1記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記導管要素は、吸入路、排出路、及び、前記吸入路と前記排出路との間の第2のフロー分離器を更に持ち、前記第2のフロー分離器は、前記第1の端部から前記第2の端部まで延在し、前記第1のフロー分離器と位置合わせされている、請求項7記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記フロートアセンブリは、第1のコンポーネントと、前記第1のコンポーネントと結合された第2のコンポーネントと、を有し、前記フロートアセンブリの前記アパーチャは、前記第1のコンポーネントと前記第2のコンポーネントとの間に配置され、前記第1のコンポーネントは、吸入ポートと、排出ポートと、前記吸入ポートと前記排出ポートとの間に配置され、前記第2のフロー分離器と位置合わせされている第3のフロー分離器と、を含む、請求項8記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記アダプタの前記吸入ポートと、前記導管要素の前記吸入路と、前記第1のコンポーネントの前記吸入ポートとが、第1の流路を形成し、前記アダプタの前記排出ポートと、前記導管要素の前記排出路と、前記第1のコンポーネントの前記排出ポートとが、第2の流路を形成し、前記第1、第2、第3のフロー分離器が、前記第1の流路を通る前記呼吸気体が前記容器に入る前に前記第2の流路に入ることを防ぐように構成され、且つ、前記第2の流路を通る前記呼吸気体が前記第1の流路に入ることを防ぐように構成される、請求項9記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 前記導管要素は、吸入路と、前記吸入路から分離した排出路と、を含み、前記吸入路は、前記吸入構造及び前記複数のアパーチャに流体連結され、前記排出路は、前記排出構造及び前記複数のアパーチャに流体連結される、請求項1記載の加湿器アセンブリ。
- 請求項1記載の加湿器アセンブリと、
前記吸入構造に結合された、前記呼吸気体のフローを作る気体フロー生成器と、
前記排出構造に結合された、患者の気道に前記呼吸気体のフローを伝達する患者インターフェイスと、
を有する、圧補助システム。 - 圧補助システムにおける供給気体に加湿する方法であって、前記方法は、
水を含む容器と、導管要素と、導管要素に結合され、前記容器が傾斜されたり、逆さまにされたりしても、各々が前記水の表面より上に維持される複数のアパーチャを持つ、前記水の上に浮かぶフロートアセンブリと、を有する、加湿器アセンブリに結合された、気体フロー生成器により、呼吸気体のフローを生成するステップと、
前記呼吸気体に、前記導管要素及び前記フロートアセンブリの前記複数のアパーチャを通過させるステップと、
前記呼吸気体に、前記水の上を通過させるステップと、
前記加湿器アセンブリから前記呼吸気体を排出するステップと、
を有する、方法。
