Claims (15)
- ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに収容された複数の電気接点の対と、
プリント回路基板(PCB)と、
を備える通信コネクタであって、
前記PCBが、少なくとも、第1の導電性信号トレースの対および第2の導電性信号トレースの対を含み、前記第1のトレースの対が第1の接点の対に接続され、前記第2のトレースの対が第2の接点の対に接続され、前記PCBが、第1の領域および第2の領域を有し、前記第1のトレースの対が前記第1の領域に位置し、前記第2のトレースの対が前記第2の領域に位置し、前記PCBが、少なくとも第1の接地平面をさらに含み、前記第1の接地平面が第1の区分および第2の区分を有し、前記第1の区分および前記第2の区分が互いに実質的に電気的に絶縁され、前記第1の区分の少なくとも一部分が前記第1のトレースの対の少なくとも一部分に隣接し、前記第2の区分の少なくとも一部分が前記第2のトレースの対の少なくとも一部分に隣接しており、前記第1のトレースの対および前記第2のトレースの対は、前記第1の接地平面から積層方向に離間しており、前記第1の区分の前記少なくとも一部分が前記第1のトレースの対の前記少なくとも一部分から前記積層方向に離間しており、前記第2の区分の前記少なくとも一部分が前記第2のトレースの対の前記少なくとも一部分から前記積層方向に離間していることにより、信号伝送品質が向上されている通信コネクタ。 - 前記第1の区分および前記第2の区分が間隔をあけて設けられている、請求項1に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記第1の区分と前記第2の区分との間の前記間隔が少なくとも0.08ミリメートルである、請求項2に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記第1の区分と前記第2の区分との間の前記間隔が6.35ミリメートルを超えない、請求項3に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記PCBが、前記接地平面の一方の側と、前記第1の対および前記第2の対との間に位置する第1の誘電材料であって、4.5未満の誘電率を有する第1の誘電材料を含む、請求項1に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記接地平面のもう一方の側に隣接して位置する第2の誘電材料であって、少なくとも4.5の誘電率を有する第2の誘電材料をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記第1の誘電材料の厚さが0.127ミリメートルを超えない、請求項5に記載の通信コネクタ。
- ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに収容された複数の電気接点の対と、
第1のプリント回路基板(PCB)と、
を備える通信コネクタであって、
前記PCBが、少なくとも、第1の導電性信号トレースの対および第2の導電性信号トレースの対を含み、前記第1のトレースの対が第1の接点の対に接続され、前記第2のトレースの対が第2の接点の対に接続され、前記PCBが、第1の領域および第2の領域を有し、前記第1のトレースの対の少なくとも1つのトレースが前記第1の領域に位置し、前記第2のトレースの対の少なくとも1つのトレースが前記第2の領域に位置し、前記PCBが、少なくとも第1の導電性の接地平面をさらに含み、前記第1の導電性の接地平面が空隙を有することにより、互いに電気的に接続されていない第1の区分および第2の区分を形成し、前記第1の区分の少なくとも一部分が、前記第1の対の少なくとも1つのトレースの少なくとも一部分に隣接し、前記第2の区分の少なくとも一部分が、前記第2の対の少なくとも1つのトレースの少なくとも一部分に隣接しており、前記第1のトレースの対および前記第2のトレースの対は、前記第1の導電性の接地平面から積層方向に離間しており、前記第1の区分の前記少なくとも一部分が、前記第1の対の前記少なくとも1つの前記トレースの少なくとも一部分から前記積層方向に離間しており、前記第2の区分の前記少なくとも一部分が、前記第2の対の前記少なくとも1つのトレースの前記少なくとも一部分から前記積層方向に離間している通信コネクタ。 - 前記空隙が、0.45ミリメートルから1.65ミリメートルの間の幅である、請求項8に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 第3の区分および第4の区分を有する第2の接地平面をさらに含むとともに、前記第1の対および前記第2の対が前記PCBの一方の側に位置し、第3の対および第4の対が前記PCBのもう一方の側に位置し、前記第2の接地平面の前記第3の区分および前記第4の区分が互いに電気的に接続されておらず、前記第3の区分の一部分が前記第3の対の一部分に隣接し、前記第4の区分の一部分が前記第4の対の一部分に隣接している、請求項8に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記PCBが7つの層を含み、前記第1の対および前記第2の対が第1層であり、前記第1の接地平面が第3層であり、前記第2の接地平面が第5層であり、前記第3の対および前記第4の対が第7層であり、誘電材料が第2層および第6層を形成し、第1の誘電材料が相対的に低誘電率を有する高周波材料であり、第2の誘電材料が第4層を形成し、前記第2の誘電材料が、前記第1の誘電材料の前記誘電率よりも高い誘電率を有する請求項10に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記第2層および前記第6層の厚さが、0.102ミリメートルから0.152ミリメートルの間である、請求項11に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記第1の誘電材料の前記誘電率が4.5未満である、請求項11に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記空隙が、少なくとも0.08ミリメートルの幅である、請求項8に記載の通信コネクタ。
- 前記第1の接地平面の前記第1の区分および前記第2の区分が、それぞれ同一の平面上にある、請求項8に記載の通信コネクタ。
