Claims (4)
- 無線通信システムにおける端末が測定を実行する方法であって、
測定制御メッセージを受信するステップと、
前記端末の性能に基づいて、測定する周波数に特定して圧縮モードを適用できるか否かを決定するステップと、
前記測定する周波数に特定して圧縮モードを適用できると、前記測定する周波数が属する周波数帯域のみに圧縮モードを適用して前記周波数に対する測定を実行するステップとを含み、
前記測定する周波数は、前記端末が使用する周波数ではなく、
前記圧縮モードは、前記測定制御メッセージにより決定された前記測定する周波数に対する圧縮モードパターンによって適用され、
キャリア別に又はキャリアグループ別に圧縮モード伝送ギャップパターンを構成する
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記測定する周波数に対して圧縮モードが必要であるか否かを、前記端末の性能に基づいて決定するステップをさらに含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 無線通信システムにおける測定を実行する端末装置であって、
測定制御メッセージを受信し、基地局と通信する送受信器と、
端末の性能に基づいて、測定する周波数に特定して圧縮モードを適用できるか否かを決定し、前記測定する周波数に特定して圧縮モードを適用できると、前記測定する周波数が属する周波数帯域のみに圧縮モードを適用して前記周波数に対する測定を実行する測定モジュールとを含み、
前記測定する周波数は、前記端末が使用する周波数ではなく、
前記圧縮モードは、前記測定制御メッセージにより決定された前記測定する周波数に対する圧縮モードパターンによって適用され、
前記基地局は、キャリア別に又はキャリアグループ別に圧縮モード伝送ギャップパターンを構成する
ことを特徴とする端末装置。 - 前記測定モジュールは、
前記測定する周波数に対して圧縮モードが必要であるか否かを、前記端末の性能に基づいて決定するようにさらに構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の端末装置。
