Claims (3)
- 酸素共存下でも選択的にNOxをアンモニアと反応させ得る選択還元型触媒を備え、該選択還元型触媒より上流側で還元剤として尿素水を添加された排気ガスを前記選択還元型触媒に対し反転させて導入するようにした排気浄化装置であって、前記選択還元型触媒の入側端面を被包し且つ該入側端面に対し斜め側方の排気導入口から排気ガスを分散させつつ導き入れるガス分散室を備えると共に、該ガス分散室の全体形状を前記排気導入口から前記選択還元型触媒の入側端面までの間を最短距離で接続するように平滑化し、前記ガス分散室における排気導入口近傍で前記選択還元型触媒の入側端面と対峙している内壁面に多数の突起を形成し、前記選択還元型触媒の軸心方向に延在して該選択還元型触媒の排気流れと逆向きに排気ガスを導く排気管路を前記排気導入口の直前で曲折して前記排気導入口に接続したことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
- ガス分散室の内壁面に形成される各突起を千鳥状に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 選択還元型触媒の軸心方向にガイド面を成す格子をガス分散室の出側端面全域に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気浄化装置。
