Description
前記MTC端末を処理するために、LTEリリース10(リリースはバージョン情報を意味し、高いほど最新バージョンである)では端末がアクセスを試みる時のアクセスリクエストメッセージに「MTC端末としてアクセスをリクエストする」と基地局に通知することによって、基地局が以後、端末のアクセスリクエストを承認するか、或いは拒絶と同時にその後にアクセス試みが可能であるかなどを通知することができる。
また、本発明の他の目的は、ネットワークへのアクセスが遮断されないMTC端末がランダムアクセス手続き実行中、ランダムアクセス応答メッセージに含まれたバックオフを処理する方法及び装置を提供することをその目的とする。
この時、MTC端末と言っても以下の場合には前記EABを適用しない:

Claims (12)
- 無線通信システムでの端末のアクセス制御方法であって、
RRC(Radio Resource Control)連結を確立するように、前記端末の第1レイヤーが前記端末の第2レイヤーに要求する段階と、
前記端末に拡張アクセス制限(Extended Access Barring,EAB)が設定されていると、特定ケースを除いたRRC連結要請に対しては前記EABを適用することを前記端末の第2レイヤーに指示する段階と、
セルアクセスが遮断されない場合、第1ランダムアクセスプリアンブルを送信する段階と、
ランダムアクセス応答を受信する段階と、
前記ランダムアクセス応答にバックオフ情報が含まれていると、前記バックオフ情報及びスケーリングファクターに基づいて、前記端末に適用するバックオフ値を決定する段階と、
前記バックオフ値に基づいて、第2ランダムアクセスプリアンブルを送信する段階と、
を含み、
前記特定ケースは、RRC確立の理由が前記端末のMT(mobile terminating)アクセスのためであることを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記特定ケースは、RRC連結確立の原因が緊急コールのためのもの、またはアクセスクラス(AC)が11から15のうちの1つである端末がネットワークにアクセスする場合を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記EABが前記RRC連結に対する要求に適用されることを前記端末の前記第1レイヤーが指示する場合、セルに対するアクセスが前記EABによって遮断されるか否かを、前記端末の前記第2レイヤーによって判断する段階と、
前記セルに対するアクセスが前記EABによって遮断される場合、前記端末の前記第1レイヤーに対する前記RRC連結の失敗を、前記端末の前記第2レイヤーによって通知する段階とをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記セルに対するアクセスが前記EABによって遮断されるか否かを判断する段階は、
基地局から受信した第1システム情報ブロックがEABパラメータを含む場合、前記EABパラメータに含まれるEABカテゴリに前記端末のカテゴリが属し、EAB遮断パラメータに含まれたビットマップの0から9の範囲のうちビットマップ値が1と設定されたアクセスクラス(AC)が前記端末のアクセスクラス(AC)に対応する場合、セルに対するアクセスが遮断されたと判定することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。 - 基地局から受信した第2システム情報ブロックがアクセスクラス遮断(access class barring,ACB)パラメータを含む場合、アクセス遮断判定を行う段階をさらに含み、
前記EABの適用可否を、前記ACBの適用可否より優先して判断することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記アクセス遮断判定を行う段階は、
前記端末が第11から15の範囲の値として一つ以上のアクセスクラスを有する場合、遮断されないセルに対するアクセスが前記端末に有効であるか否かを判定し、
前記端末が前記第11から15の範囲の値として一つ以上のアクセスクラスを有しない場合、0から1の間の任意の数字を生成し、前記任意の数字が前記アクセスクラス遮断パラメータによって表わす値よりも小さい場合、接続の試みが可能であり、前記任意の数字が前記アクセスクラス遮断パラメータによって表わす値よりも小さくない場合、接続不可と判断することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 無線通信システムでの端末であって、
信号を送受信する送受信部と、
RRC(Radio Resource Control)連結を確立するように、前記端末の第1レイヤーが前記端末の第2レイヤーに要求し、前記端末に拡張アクセス制限(Extended Access Barring,EAB)が設定されていると、特定ケースを除いたRRC連結要請に対しては前記EABを適用することを前記端末の第2レイヤーに指示し、セルアクセスが遮断されない場合、第1ランダムアクセスプリアンブルを送信し、ランダムアクセス応答を受信し、前記ランダムアクセス応答にバックオフ情報が含まれていると、前記バックオフ情報及びスケーリングファクターに基づいて、前記端末に適用するバックオフ値を決定し、前記バックオフ値に基づいて、第2ランダムアクセスプリアンブルを送信するように制御する、制御部とを含み、
前記特定ケースは、RRC確立の理由が前記端末のMT(mobile terminating)アクセスのためであることを含むことを特徴とする端末。 - 前記特定ケースは、RRC連結確立の原因が緊急コールのためのもの、又はアクセスクラス(AC)が11から15のうちの一つである端末がネットワークにアクセスする場合を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の端末。
- 前記制御部は、
前記EABが前記RRC連結に対する要求に適用されることを前記端末の前記第1レイヤーが指示する場合、セルに対するアクセスが前記EABによって遮断されるか否かを判断し、
前記セルに対するアクセスが前記EABによって遮断される場合、前記端末の前記第1レイヤーに対する前記RRC連結の失敗を通知することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の端末。 - 前記制御部は、
基地局から受信した第1システム情報ブロックがEABパラメータを含む場合、前記EABパラメータに含まれるEABカテゴリに前記端末のカテゴリが属し、EAB遮断パラメータに含まれたビットマップの0から9の範囲のうちビットマップ値が1と設定されたアクセスクラス(AC)が前記端末のアクセスクラス(AC)に対応する場合、セルに対するアクセスが遮断されたと判定することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の端末。 - 前記制御部は、
基地局から受信した第2システム情報ブロックがアクセスクラス遮断(access class barring,ACB)パラメータを含む場合、アクセス遮断判定を行い、
前記EABの適用可否を、前記ACBの適用可否より優先して判断することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の端末。 - 前記制御部は、
前記端末が第11から15の範囲の値として一つ以上のアクセスクラスを有する場合、遮断されないセルに対するアクセスが前記端末に有効か否かを判定し、
前記端末が前記第11から15の範囲の値として一つ以上のアクセスクラスを有しない場合、0から1の間の範囲に同一に分布する任意の数字を生成し、
前記任意の数字が前記アクセスクラス遮断パラメータによって表わす値よりも小さい場合、接続の試みが可能であり、前記任意の数字が前記アクセスクラス遮断パラメータによって表わす値よりも小さくない場合、接続不可と判断することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の端末。
