Claims (20)
- エアロゾル粒子の生物特異的アッセイのための試料を提供するイオン推進力装置であって、
エアロゾル粒子の試料を受容し、荷電粒子のプラズマを生成する高電圧電極を封入するハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に取外し可能に受容可能な担持体アセンブリであって、非導電担持体と、前記担持体に取外し可能に固定された捕捉電極とを含む担持体アセンブリと
を備え、
前記担持体アセンブリの前記ハウジング内への受容に伴って、前記高電圧電極が電圧にかけられ、これによって、荷電エアロゾル粒子の流れが前記ハウジングを通る正味空気流を生成して、前記荷電エアロゾル粒子が前記捕捉電極上に被着し、前記捕捉電極が、前記担持体から取り外され、生物特異的アッセイのために抽出導管内に配置されることができるようになっている、
イオン推進力装置。 - 前記担持体アセンブリが、前記捕捉電極を前記担持体に取外し可能に固定するように前記担持体上に摺動可能に受容されたラッチを備える、請求項1に記載のイオン推進力装置。

- ラッチ支持部が、前記レールに近接した前記端壁から延び、ラッチが、前記捕捉電極を前記レールに取外し可能に固定するように前記ラッチ支持部上に摺動可能に受容されている、請求項4に記載のイオン推進力装置。
- 前記ラッチが、前記レール上の前記捕捉電極の動きを制限する端部係止を備える、請求項5に記載のイオン推進力装置。
- 前記捕捉電極が、前記レール上に受容された接続部分及び上方に延びる電極部分を定義するように曲げられた金属シートを備える、請求項4に記載のイオン推進力装置。
- 前記担持体が、前記捕捉電極を取り外すために分断可能な切断点を含む、請求項1に記載のイオン推進力装置。
- エアロゾル粒子の生物特異的アッセイのための試料を提供するイオン推進力装置であって、
エアロゾル粒子の試料を受容し、荷電粒子のプラズマを生成する高電圧電極を封入するグリル開口と、担持体開口とを含むハウジングと、
前記担持体開口において前記ハウジング内に取外し可能に受容可能な担持体アセンブリであって、第1の細長いレール及び第2の細長いレールを含む非導電担持体と、前記第1の細長いレール及び前記第2の細長いレールに取外し可能に固定されたそれぞれの第1の捕捉電極及び第2の捕捉電極とを備える担持体アセンブリと
を備え、
前記担持体アセンブリの前記ハウジング内への受容に伴って、前記高電圧電極が電圧にかけられ、これによって、荷電エアロゾル粒子の流れが前記ハウジングを通る正味空気流を生成して、前記荷電エアロゾル粒子が前記捕捉電極上に被着し、前記捕捉電極が、前記担持体から取り外され、生物特異的アッセイのために抽出導管内に配置されることができるようになっている、

- 前記電極がそれぞれ、前記それぞれのレール上に受容された接続部分及び上方に延びる電極部分を定義するように曲げられた金属シートを備える、請求項12に記載のイオン推進力装置。
- 各レールが、その関連付けられた捕捉電極を取り外すために分断可能な切断点を含む、請求項9に記載のイオン推進力装置。
- エアロゾル粒子を分析する方法であって
荷電粒子のプラズマを生成する高電圧電極を封入するハウジングと、前記ハウジング内に取外し可能に受容可能な担持体アセンブリであって、非導電担持体、及び前記担持体に取外し可能に固定された捕捉電極を備える担持体アセンブリとを含む動電現象による推進力装置を設けるステップと、
前記装置を通って動電現象により進められた空気の容積から、前記捕捉電極上にエアロゾル粒子を被着させるステップと、
前記担持体から前記捕捉電極を取り外し、前記捕捉電極を抽出導管内に配置するステップと、
所定の容積の抽出流体を前記抽出導管に加えるステップと、
所定の時間にわたって前記抽出流体内で前記捕捉電極を撹拌するステップと
を含み、
前記抽出流体のすべて又は一部が、前記エアロゾル粒子の解析のために反応混合物に加えられる、
方法。 - 前記捕捉電極を取り外すステップが、前記捕捉電極を前記担持体に取外し可能に固定するように前記担持体上に摺動可能に受容されたラッチを備える前記担持体アセンブリを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記担持体アセンブリが、前記装置内の1つ又は複数の対電極との捕捉電極の機能的整合をもたらすように前記動電現象による推進力装置のハウジングと係合する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- エアロゾル粒子を分析する方法であって、
荷電粒子のプラズマを生成する高電圧電極を封入するハウジングと、前記ハウジング内に取外し可能に受容可能な担持体アセンブリであって、非導電担持体、及び前記担持体に取外し可能に固定された捕捉電極を備える担持体アセンブリとを含む動電現象による推進力装置を設けるステップと、
前記装置を通って動電現象により進められた空気の容積から、選択された期間にわたって前記捕捉電極上にエアロゾル粒子を被着させるステップと、
前記担持体から前記捕捉電極を取り外し、前記捕捉電極から捕捉された前記エアロゾル粒子を抽出するステップと、
捕捉された前記エアロゾル粒子を分析して、前記空気の容積における粒子濃度を測定するステップと
を含む方法。
