Description

Claims (23)
- 末梢動脈疾患を治療するインプラントであって、
複数のステントストラットと、
前記複数のステントストラットの周囲に位置決めされるように構成され、複数の開窓部を含む微小パターン付き薄膜ニチノール(MTFN)ステントカバーと、
を含み、
前記開窓部が、前記開窓部を通る反管腔側の平滑筋細胞の遊走を阻止する限界寸法以下であり、かつ、細胞間情報伝達を可能にする限界寸法以上である、インプラント。 - 前記MTFNステントカバーが縦方向の次元に延在し、前記開窓部が10μm以下の縦方向の最大寸法を有するサイズであり、前記開窓部が10μm以下の横方向の最大寸法を有するサイズである、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記開窓部の縦方向及び横方向の寸法が、5μm〜10μmである、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 前記MTFNステントカバーが、50μm未満の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記MTFNステントカバーが、10μm未満の厚さを有する、請求項4に記載のインプラント。
- 前記MTFNステントカバーが、5μm〜10μmの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項5に記載のインプラント。
- 前記MTFNステントカバーが、40°以下の水接触角を有する少なくとも1つの親水性表面を有する、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記MTFNステントカバーが、40°の水接触角を有する少なくとも1つの親水性表面を有する、請求項7に記載のインプラント。
- 前記開窓部がそれぞれ、細長い形状を有する、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記開窓部が、直線の縁部を有する、請求項9に記載のインプラント。
- 前記MTFNステントカバーが、
巻き付けて縦方向及び半径方向を有する全体的に管状の形状にする全体的に矩形の薄膜シートを含み、
前記シートの2つの縦方向の縁部が少なくとも接触して、前記管状の形状を形成し、
前記シートが、第一内径のコンパクトな形態、及び前記第一内径より大きい第二内径を有する展開形態を有する、請求項1に記載のインプラント。 - 前記インプラントが、前記コンパクトな形態で血管内に送出されるように構成され、前記インプラントが、前記血管内の治療位置でその展開形態へと拡張するように構成され、前記インプラントが、前記血管の内表面へと拡張して、前記内表面と少なくとも接触するように構成される、請求項11に記載のインプラント。
- 前記複数のステントストラットが、カテーテル内に制限された場合に圧縮形態で配置されるように構成され、前記複数のステントストラットが、前記カテーテル内で制限されないと治療部位にて自動的に拡張するように構成され、前記MTFNステントカバーが、前記ステントストラットの拡張とともに拡張するように構成される、請求項11に記載のインプラント。
- 末梢動脈疾患を治療するステントであって、
管状のトラスと、
前記トラスの周囲を囲むように構成された薄膜ニッケルチタン(NiTi)を含むシートと、
を含み、
前記シートが、第一内径を有するコンパクトな形態と、前記第一内径より大きい第二内径を有する展開形態とを有し、
前記ステントが、前記コンパクトな形態で血管内に送出されるように構成され、
前記ステントが、前記血管内の治療位置で展開形態へと拡張するように構成され、
前記シートが、血管の内表面へと拡張して、前記内表面に接触するように構成され、前記シートが開窓部の微小パターンを含み、
前記開窓部が、前記シートを通る反管腔側の平滑筋細胞の遊走を阻止する限界寸法以下であり、かつ、前記シートを通る細胞間情報伝達を可能にする限界寸法以上である、ステント。 - 前記開窓部が、10μm未満の最大寸法を有するサイズである、請求項14に記載のステント。
- 前記開窓部が、5μm〜10μmの最大寸法を有するサイズである、請求項15に記載のステント。
- 前記薄膜シートが、50μm未満の厚さを有する、請求項14に記載のステント。
- 前記薄膜シートが、10μm未満の厚さを有する、請求項17に記載のステント。
- 前記薄膜シートが、5μm〜10μmの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項18に記載のステント。
- 前記シートが、40°以下の水接触角を有する少なくとも1つの親水性表面を有する、請求項14に記載のステント。
- 前記シートが、40°の水接触角を有する少なくとも1つの親水性表面を有する、請求項20に記載のステント。
- 前記開窓部が、細長い形状を有する、請求項14に記載のステント。
- 前記開窓部が、直線の縁部を有する、請求項22に記載のステント。
