Description
本出願は、2012年6月15日にファイルされた米国仮特許出願第61/660,383号ならびに、2013年5月10日にファイルされた米国仮特許出願第61/821,862号の優先権の利益を主張する。上述の各出願の内容全体を、あらゆる目的で本明細書に援用する。
Claims (10)
- 神経組織に直接配置されるように構成された電極接点を含む治療送達装置であって、
前記電極接点は、100マイクロクーロン(μC)を上回る累積電荷が前記電極接点によって流されるとき神経を損傷させない高電荷容量の材料を含有し、幾何学的表面積が少なくとも1mm2である、治療送達装置。 - 前記幾何学的表面積は、3mm2〜9mm2である、請求項1に記載の治療送達装置。
- 前記電極接点は、前記高電荷容量の材料で製造される、請求項1に記載の治療送達装置。
- 前記高電荷容量の材料は、プラチナブラック、酸化インジウム、窒化チタン、タンタルまたはポリ(エチレンジオキシチオフェン)である、請求項1に記載の治療送達装置。
- 前記治療送達装置は、神経カフである、請求項1に記載の治療送達装置。
- 前記電極接点は、複数の電極接点を含む、請求項5に記載の治療送達装置。
- 前記電極接点は、複数の神経用単極カフ型電極接点を含む、請求項1に記載の治療送達装置。
- 100マイクロクーロン(μC)を上回る総電荷量を有する直流電流(DC)を生じる波形発生器と、
前記波形発生器に接続され、神経組織に直接配置されて神経を損傷させることなく前記DCを前記神経組織に流すように構成された電極接点と、
を有するシステムであって、
前記電極接点は、100μCを上回る累積電荷が前記電極接点によって流されるときに神経を損傷させない高電荷容量の材料で製造され、幾何学的表面積が少なくとも1mm2である、システム。 - 前記幾何学的表面積が3mm2〜9mm2である、請求項8のシステム。
- 前記高電荷容量の材料がプラチナブラック、酸化インジウム、窒化チタン、タンタル、またはポリ(エチレンジオキシチオフェン)である、請求項8のシステム。
