Claims (11)
- 複数のタッチ駆動電極、複数のタッチ駆動電極上に配置された弾性誘電体部材、及び前記複数のタッチ駆動電極の各々と交差しながら重なり合うように前記弾性誘電体部材上に並んで配置されたタッチ感知電極と第1ダミー電極を有する複数のタッチ感知電極グループを含むタッチパネルと、タッチ駆動回路とを備え、
前記タッチ駆動回路は、
タッチ位置感知モードの時に、前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で第1ダミー電極をフローティングさせ、前記タッチ感知電極グループの前記タッチ感知電極を通じて静電容量変化を感知し、
ハプティックモードの時に、前記タッチ駆動電極に電圧を印加しながら少なくとも一つのタッチ感知電極グループに基準電圧を印加し、前記タッチ感知電極グループの前記第1ダミー電極は、前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で前記タッチ感知電極と電気的に接続され、
タッチ力感知モードによって前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で前記第1ダミー電極を前記タッチ感知電極に接続させ、前記タッチ駆動電極にタッチ駆動パルスを供給しながら、前記タッチ感知電極を通じて静電容量変化を感知してタッチ力感知データを生成する、タッチパネルの駆動装置。 - 前記タッチ駆動電極に印加される電圧は、交流電圧である、請求項1に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記弾性誘電体部材は、前記交流電圧の振幅によって変化する、請求項2に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記弾性誘電体部材は、PDMS(polydimethylsiloxane)、アクリル(acrylic)、又はポリウレタン(poly−urethane)材料を含む、請求項1に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記タッチ駆動回路は、
タッチ位置感知モードによって前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で第1ダミー電極をフローティングさせ、前記タッチ駆動電極にタッチ駆動パルスを供給しながら、前記タッチ感知電極を通じて静電容量変化を感知してタッチ位置感知データを生成する、請求項1に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。 - 前記複数のタッチ感知電極グループの各々は、前記タッチ感知電極を介在して前記第1ダミー電極と並んだ第2ダミー電極をさらに含み、
前記タッチ駆動回路は、前記タッチ位置感知モードによって前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で第1及び第2ダミー電極をフローティングさせ、前記タッチ力感知モードによって前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で第1及び第2ダミー電極を前記タッチ感知電極に接続させる、請求項5に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。 - 前記タッチ感知電極グループの各々は、前記第1及び第2ダミー電極の各々の一方の側を電気的に接続するダミーブリッジ電極をさらに含む、請求項6に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。
- ハプティックモードの時に、前記タッチ位置感知データと前記タッチ力感知データのうち、少なくとも一つに基づいてハプティック領域及びハプティック強度を決定し、決定されたハプティック領域及びハプティック強度に対応されるハプティックモード信号を生成するハプティック制御回路をさらに含む、請求項6又は請求項7に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記タッチ駆動回路は、前記ハプティックモード信号に基づいて、前記ハプティック領域に含まれたタッチ駆動電極に交流電圧を印加するとともに、前記ハプティック領域に含まれたタッチ感知電極グループのタッチ感知電極と第1及び第2ダミー電極に基準電圧を印加する、請求項8に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記タッチ駆動回路は、
前記タッチ位置感知モード及び前記タッチ力感知モードの時に前記タッチ駆動電極にタッチ駆動パルスを供給し、前記ハプティックモードの時に前記ハプティックモード信号に対応される前記交流電圧を生成して、前記タッチ駆動電極に印加する駆動信号供給部と、
前記タッチ位置感知モードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で第1及び第2ダミー電極をフローティングさせ、前記タッチ力感知モードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ単位で前記第1及び第2ダミー電極を前記タッチ感知電極に接続させて、前記ハプティックモードの時に前記ハプティック領域に含まれたタッチ感知電極グループのタッチ感知電極と第1及び第2ダミー電極に前記基準電圧が印加されるようにする電極接続部と、
前記タッチ位置感知モード及び前記タッチ力感知モードの時に前記電極接続部を通じて前記タッチ感知電極に接続され、前記タッチ感知電極を通じて前記静電容量変化を感知して前記タッチ位置感知データと前記タッチ力感知データを生成する感知部と、
前記感知部から提供された前記タッチ位置感知データと前記タッチ力感知データをメモリに格納し、前記メモリに格納された前記タッチ位置感知データ及び前記タッチ力感知データをホストシステムに転送する感知データ処理部を含む、請求項9に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。 - 前記電極接続部は、
前記タッチ位置感知モードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ別に前記第1ダミー電極をフローティングさせ、前記タッチ力感知モード又は前記ハプティックモードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ別に前記第1ダミー電極を前記タッチ感知電極に接続させる第1スイッチング素子と、
前記タッチ位置感知モードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ別に前記第2ダミー電極をフローティングさせ、前記タッチ力感知モード又は前記ハプティックモードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ別に前記第2ダミー電極を前記タッチ感知電極に接続させる第2スイッチング素子と、
前記タッチ位置感知モード又は前記タッチ力感知モードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ別に前記タッチ感知電極を前記感知部に接続させ、前記ハプティックモードの時に前記タッチ感知電極グループ別に前記タッチ感知電極に前記基準電圧が供給されるようにするマルチプレクサを含む、請求項10に記載のタッチパネルの駆動装置。
