Description
(1) 縫合糸であって、
第1のピックカウントを有する第1の長さと、前記第1のピックカウントよりも大きい第2のピックカウントを有する第2の長さと、を有する生体適合性の細長い繊維織物であって、前記第1の長さが第1のパターンを画定し、前記第2の長さが、前記第1のパターンとは異なる第2のパターンを画定し、前記第1の長さの断面が、前記第1の長さに力が適用された際に変形するように構成されている、繊維織物を含む、縫合糸。
(2) 前記第1の長さが、前記第2の長さの外径よりも大きいか又は等しい静止外径を有し、また前記第1の長さが、前記第1の長さに力が適用された際にその直径が崩壊するように構成されている、実施態様1に記載の縫合糸。
(3) 前記第1の長さの前記崩壊外径が、前記第2の長さの前記外径よりも小さい、実施態様2に記載の縫合糸。
(4) 前記第2の長さが、前記第1の長さの曲げ剛性よりも大きい曲げ剛性を有する、実施態様1に記載の縫合糸。
(5) 前記細長い織物が、前記細長い織物を通して少なくとも部分的に延びる中空ルーメンを含む、実施態様1に記載の縫合糸。
(7) 前記第1のパターン上の前記反復単位の長さが、前記第2のパターン上の前記反復単位の長さよりも長い、実施態様6に記載の縫合糸。
(8) 前記繊維織物が、第1の色を有する少なくとも1つのストランドと、第2の色を有する少なくとも1つの追加のストランドと、を含む、実施態様1に記載の縫合糸。
(9) 前記第1の長さが、前記縫合糸の終端部分を含む、実施態様1に記載の縫合糸。
(10) 前記第2の長さの前記ピックカウントが、約23.6ピック/cm(60ピック/インチ)である、実施態様1に記載の縫合糸。
第1のピックカウントを有する第1の長さと、前記第1のピックカウントよりも大きい第2のピックカウントを有する第2の長さと、を有する生体適合性の細長い繊維織物であって、前記第1の長さの断面が、前記第1の長さに力が適用された際に変形するように構成されている、繊維織物と、
前記繊維織物を受容するように構成されている内側ルーメンを有する管状アンカーと、を備える、外科用キット。
(12) 前記内側ルーメンが、前記繊維織物の前記第1の長さの2つ折り部分を受容するように構成されている、実施態様11に記載の外科用キット。
(13) 更に、前記繊維織物を前記管状アンカーの前記内側ルーメン内に牽引するように構成されている糸通し器タブを備える、実施態様11に記載の外科用キット。
(14) 更に、少なくとも1つの追加の生体適合性の細長い繊維織物を備える、実施態様11に記載の外科用キット。
(15) 縫合糸を縫合糸アンカー内に通すための方法であって、
前記縫合糸の第1の部分が前記第1の部分自体上に2つに折られるように、かつ前記縫合糸の第2の部分が管状アンカーから延びるように、前記縫合糸の前記第1の部分を前記管状アンカー内に通すことであって、前記縫合糸の前記第1の部分が、前記縫合糸の前記第2の部分のピックカウントよりも小さいピックカウントを有する、ことを含む、方法。
(17) 更に、糸通し器タブを使用して、前記縫合糸の前記第1の部分を前記管状アンカー内に牽引することを含む、実施態様15に記載の方法。
(18) 前記縫合糸の前記第1の部分が静止外部断面を有し、前記方法が更に、前記縫合糸の前記第1の部分の前記断面が変形するように、前記縫合糸の前記第1の部分を前記管状アンカーを通して牽引することを含む、実施態様15に記載の方法。
(19) 前記縫合糸が、前記縫合糸が前記縫合糸アンカーに連結されるように、前記縫合糸アンカーの内側ルーメンを横切って延びる縫合糸受容部材の周囲に巻き付けられる、実施態様15に記載の方法。
(20) 前記第1の部分が、前記縫合糸の第1の脚及び第2の脚を備え、前記縫合糸が、前記第1の脚と第2の脚との間の中間部分を含む、実施態様15に記載の方法。
Claims (12)
- 外科用キットであって、
第1のピックカウントを有する第1の長さと、前記第1のピックカウントよりも大きい第2のピックカウントを有する第2の長さと、を有する生体適合性の細長い繊維織物であって、前記第1の長さが第1のパターンを画定し、前記第2の長さが、前記第1のパターンとは異なる第2のパターンを画定し、前記第1の長さは前記第2の長さによりも低い曲げ剛性を有することによって、曲げ力が加えられると縫合糸の前記第1の長さは前記第2の長さより容易に変形して前記第1の長さの断面が減少する、繊維織物を含む、縫合糸と、
前記繊維織物を受容するように構成されている内側ルーメンを有し、前記内側ルーメンは、前記第2の長さの2つ折り部分に比べて前記第1の長さの2つ折り部分を容易に受容できる直径を有する、管状アンカーと、
を備え、
前記繊維織物の前記第1の長さの2つ折り部分が、前記内側ルーメンに受容される、外科用キット。 - 前記第1の長さが、前記第2の長さの外径よりも大きいか又は等しい静止外径を有し、また前記第1の長さが、前記第1の長さに前記曲げ力が適用された際にその直径が崩壊し崩壊外径に低減されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記第1の長さの前記崩壊外径が、前記第2の長さの前記外径よりも小さい、請求項2に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記第2の長さが、前記第1の長さの曲げ剛性よりも大きい曲げ剛性を有する、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記細長い織物が、前記細長い織物を通して少なくとも部分的に延びる中空ルーメンを含む、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記第1のパターン及び前記第2のパターンが、それぞれ、途切れない一連の反復単位を含む、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記第1のパターン上の前記反復単位の長さが、前記第2のパターン上の前記反復単位の長さよりも長い、請求項6に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記繊維織物が、第1の色を有する少なくとも1つのストランドと、第2の色を有する少なくとも1つの追加のストランドと、を含む、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記第1の長さが、前記縫合糸の終端部分を含む、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 前記第2の長さの前記ピックカウントが、約23.6ピック/cm(60ピック/インチ)である、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 更に、前記繊維織物を前記管状アンカーの前記内側ルーメン内に牽引するように構成されている糸通し器タブを備える、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
- 更に、少なくとも1つの追加の生体適合性の細長い繊維織物を備える、請求項1に記載の外科用キット。
