Claims (16)
- 集積された治療用および画像化用カテーテルであって、
ガイドワイヤルーメンを定義する内部部材と、
バルーンアセンブリと、
前記バルーンアセンブリの周囲に搭載された処置デバイスと、
前記バルーンアセンブリに対して遠位に配置され、および接続メディアと接続する画像化デバイスとを備え、
前記バルーンアセンブリは、前記内部部材および前記接続メディアを囲む内部スリーブおよび前記内部スリーブを囲む外部スリーブを備え、前記接続メディアは前記内部スリーブおよび前記内部部材の間に配置され、前記内部スリーブは前記バルーンアセンブリが膨張するときに前記接続メディアを保護するように構成されることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 前記画像化デバイスは、血管内超音波トランスデューサおよび光学コヒーレンストモグラフィデバイスの少なくとも一つを備える、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記接続メディアが、前記内部部材および前記内部スリーブの間の空間を自由に移動することが可能である、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 内側が前記内部スリーブに接合する近位シャフトおよび前記近位シャフトの外側に接合するバルーン近位レッグを含む近位接合部を備える、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記近位シャフトが軸状のデュアルルーメンシャフトを備える、請求項4記載のカテーテル。
- 前記内部スリーブが、前記デュアルルーメンシャフトの外部ルーメンおよび前記デュアルルーメンシャフトの内部ルーメンの間に配置される、請求項5記載のカテーテル。
- さらに、前記近位シャフトとは独立した中央シャフトを備え、前記内部スリーブが当該中央シャフトの内側に接合し、および当該中央シャフトが前記バルーンアセンブリおよび前記画像化デバイスに接合する、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記バルーンアセンブリが規格非準拠である、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記内部スリーブが、前記バルーンアセンブリが20ATMよりも高い圧力で膨張するときに、前記接続メディアを保護するように構成される、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記接続メディアが電気伝導性ワイヤ又は光ファイバの一つを備える、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記接続メディアが前記画像化デバイスにより生成されたデータを運ぶ、請求項10記載のカテーテル。
- 前記接続メディアが前記画像化デバイスに電力を提供する、請求項10記載のカテーテル。
- 前記接続メディアが、前記バルーンの遠位端で画像化デバイスを回転させるように構成されたドライブシャフトを備える、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記処置デバイスが、前記外部部材を囲み、および前記バルーンアセンブリが膨張するときに展開するよう構成された展開可能なステントである、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記内部スリーブが高操作圧下において内部で弾性的に変形するように構成されている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 前記内部スリーブが、前記高操作圧が継続しなくなったとき、弾性的にオリジナルの形状へ再形成するよう構成される、請求項15記載のカテーテル。
