Claims (7)
- 車両の排気ガスシステムを動作させるため、自動車のエンジンによって生成される排気ガス中の窒素酸化物の含有量を減少させる触媒装置(12)の下流において測定された前記排気ガス中の窒素酸化物の前記含有量を示す測定値に基づいて、前記触媒装置の還元剤の質の評価を行うための方法であって、
所定のサンプリング期間にわたって測定された前記測定値を平均してその平均値を算出し、前記サンプリング期間にわたって測定した各測定値と前記平均値の差の絶対値の合計値を算出し、
前記差の絶対値の合計値に基づいて前記還元剤の質の評価を行うことを特徴とする、方法。 - 更に、前記差の絶対値の合計値を前記サンプリング期間で除して測定値偏差の時間平均値(LARMF)を算出し、
前記測定値偏差の時間平均値(LARMF)に基づいて、前記還元剤の質の評価を行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記測定値偏差の時間平均値(LARMF)が所定の閾値(44)より大きい場合に、前記還元剤は不適切な質であって希釈されている、と評価することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記評価結果に基づいて、前記排気ガスに供給される前記還元剤の量が修正されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 更に、前記還元剤の量の複数回の修正に基づく値が閾値(56)より大きい場合に、前記還元剤は不適切な質であって希釈されている、と判断することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記修正は投与速度を定める係数を補正することによって行われ、補正係数の全変更量が前記還元剤の量の複数回の修正に基づく値として用いられることを特徴とする、請求項4または請求項5に記載の方法。
- 車両の排気ガスシステムを動作させるための制御アセンブリであって、
エンジンによって生成された前記排気ガス中の窒素酸化物の含有量を還元剤により減少させる触媒装置(12)と、
前記触媒装置(12)の下流に設けられ、前記排気ガス中の窒素酸化物の含有量を測定するセンサ(20)と、
前記センサ(20)により測定された窒素酸化物の含有量に基づいて、前記還元剤の評価を行う評価部(42)とを備え、
前記評価部(42)は、所定のサンプリング期間に渡って測定された前記測定値を平均してその平均値を算出し、前記サンプリング期間に渡って測定した各測定値と前記平均値の差の絶対値の合計値を算出し、
前記合計値に基づいて、前記還元剤の質の評価を行うことを特徴とする、制御アセンブリ。
