海苔束を搬送する海苔束搬送ベルトコンベヤの一対のベルト間に載せて搬送中の海苔束のうち、ずれ検知装置により縦方向及び/又は横方向のずれが検知された不揃い海苔束を前記海苔束搬送ベルトコンベヤの外側へ放出する排出板が海苔束の搬送方向に直交する方向へ回転可能に回転軸に固定されている不揃い海苔束排出装置を備えるとともに、前記海苔束搬送ベルトコンベヤの両側のベルトの下側に収まるように配置された、前記不揃い海苔束を前記ベルトコンベヤから排除する不揃い海苔束排除装置において、
前記ずれ検知装置は、前記海苔束搬送ベルトコンベヤの海苔束搬入口に設けられた前記海苔束の横方向のずれを検出する横ずれ検出センサと、前記不揃い海苔束排除装置の搬送方向の前後に配置された、前記海苔束の縦方向のずれを検出する縦ずれセンサにより構成され、
前記排出板が固定された前記回転軸には、モータの回転軸の円板に一端が結合され且つ他端が引張コイルばねに接続されているチェーンで回転するスプロケットが固定されており、
