Description

本開示は、医療装置において使用するためのマイクロパターン化ポリマーコーティングに関する。いくつかの実施形態において、マイクロパターン化ポリマーコーティングは、ステントのような植え込み型医療装置とともに用いられ、特に、食道用ステント、胆管用ステントおよび大腸用ステントを含むが、これらに限定されない胃食道系において用いられるステントのステント移動を低減または防止する。本願に記載するステントは、気管、心臓血管系および体内の他の箇所(例えば任意の体内管腔)において用いられてもよい。

前記ステントの外面に付着したポリマーコーティングであって、基部および前記基部から外側に延びる複数の突起を備え、前記突起がマイクロパターンに配列されており、前記基部とステントとが境界を共有しており、前記基部が前記ステントの開口の少なくともいくつかを被覆している、ポリマーコーティングと、を備えており、前記ポリマーコーティングが前記ステントの外面のまわりに巻き付けられた少なくとも1つの細長片に形成されており、前記ステントの一部が露出して前記少なくとも1つの細長片によって被覆されていない、内部人工器官。 - 前記内部人工器官が管壁によって画定された管腔内で拡張すると、前記突起のマイクロパターンが、前記管壁と内部人工器官との間に所望の噛み合いを生じる力を作用させる、請求項1に記載の内部人工器官。
