Claims (11)
- OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode)ディスプレイ装置において、
前記ディスプレイ装置の動作を行うためのディスプレイパネルを含む複数のコンポーネントと、
電源供給部と、
前記電源供給部から供給される入力電圧を整流する整流部であり、前記入力電圧の力率を補償するPFC(Power Factor Correction)部を含む、整流部と、
前記整流部で整流された入力電圧のレベルを変換し、前記複数のコンポーネントに共通して提供する電圧レベル変換部と、
前記複数のコンポーネントの動作状態に応じて、前記PFC部のオン/オフを制御する制御部と、
を含み、
前記制御部は、
ディスプレイパネルがデータ電圧チャージング動作を行う間には、前記PFC部をオフさせ、
前記ディスプレイパネルが発光動作を行う間には、前記PFC部をオンさせる、
OLEDディスプレイ装置。 - 前記電圧レベル変換部は、
前記PFC部の出力直流電圧のレベルをディスプレイパネル駆動のための電圧レベルに変換して、前記複数のコンポーネントに共通して提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のOLEDディスプレイ装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルは、
前記OLEDを含む複数の画素で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のOLEDディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記ディスプレイパネルに提供された直流電圧のレベルを検出し、
前記検出された直流電圧のレベルが第1電圧レベルである場合、データ電圧チャージング動作を行うと判断し、前記PFC部をオフさせ、
前記検出された直流電圧のレベルが第2電圧レベルである場合、発光動作を行うと判断し、前記PFC部をオンさせることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のOLEDディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記データ電圧チャージング区間が終了する時点を基準として予め設定された時間の前に前記PFC部をオンさせることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のOLEDディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記PFC部がオフされた状態で、前記PFC部の出力電圧が予め設定されたレベル以下である場合、前記予め設定された時間に至っていると判断し、前記PFC部をオンさせることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のOLEDディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の画素に走査信号を提供する走査駆動部と、
前記複数の画素にデータ信号を提供するデータ駆動部と、
前記ディスプレイパネルに駆動電圧を提供する電圧駆動部と
を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のOLEDディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数のコンポーネントは、
ディスプレイパネルと、オーディオアンプと、通信インターフェースモジュールおよびサブマイクロコンピュータのうち、少なくとも何れか一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のOLEDディスプレイ装置。 - OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode)で構成された複数の画素を含むディスプレイパネルに電源を供給するための方法において、
PFC部を用いて入力電圧の力率を補償するステップと、
前記補償により出力された直流電圧の大きさを変換して前記ディスプレイパネルに提供するステップと、
前記ディスプレイパネルの動作状態に応じて、前記PFC部のオン/オフを制御するステップと、
を含み、
前記制御するステップは、
前記ディスプレイパネルがデータ電圧チャージング動作を行う間、前記PFC部をオフさせるステップと、
前記ディスプレイパネルが発光動作を行う間、前記PFC部をオンさせるステップと、
を含む、電源供給方法。 - 前記制御するステップは、
前記ディスプレイパネルに提供された直流電圧のレベルを検出するステップを更に含み、
前記検出された直流電圧のレベルが第1電圧レベルである場合、データ電圧チャージング動作を行うと判断し、前記PFC部をオフさせ、前記検出された直流電圧のレベルが第2電圧レベルである場合、発光動作を行うと判断し、前記PFC部をオンさせることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電源供給方法。 - 前記制御するステップは、
前記データ電圧チャージング区間が終了する時点から予め設定された時間の前に前記PFC部をオンさせることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電源供給方法。
