Description
チップとして、樹木の幹を樹皮が付いたままの状態で切削して、5〜40mmの径で篩い分けをして通過したチップのみを用いた。このチップをバッチ式蒸解釜に蒸解薬液と共に投入し、クラフト蒸解法により化学パルプ化して未晒しパルプを製造した。クラフト蒸解法は、有効アルカリ添加率16.5%、硫化度30%、液比4.5の条件で常法に従って行った。得られた未晒しパルプについて、JISP 8211で規定する方法に従ってカッパー価を測定したところ45であった。
チップの樹種を変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてカッパー価45の未晒しパルプを製造した。
各実施例の製紙用パルプ(未晒しパルプ)を湿式抄紙して紙を作製した。より具体的には、評価対象の製紙用パルプのフリーネスを、叩解機(PFIミル)を用いて500mlに調整し、そのフリーネス調整済みの製紙用パルプのみを用いて、卓上円型シートマシンにより常法に従って湿式抄紙して坪量60g/m2の紙を得た。
また比較例として、従来どおりに、樹皮を除去した樹木の幹を切削して得られたチップのみを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてカッパー価45の未晒しパルプを製造し、その未晒しパルプを前記と同様に湿式抄紙して、坪量60g/m2の紙を得た。
こうして得られた紙について、比引張強度、比破裂強度、透気抵抗度をそれぞれ前記方法により測定した。その結果を下記表1に示す。
Claims (3)
- 樹木を樹皮が付いたままの状態で切削して得られたチップを化学パルプ化して得られる製紙用パルプであって、
フリーネスが500mlの条件にて前記製紙用パルプのみを湿式抄紙して得られた紙の、JIS P8113で規定する比引張強さが98.0N・m/g以上である製紙用パルプ。 - 前記樹木が針葉樹である請求項1に記載の製紙用パルプ。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の製紙用パルプを湿式抄紙して得られる紙。
