橋脚の上方の非水没箇所に吊り足場を設置し、この吊り足場は、作業用底部を備えて、この作業用底部を備えた吊り足場に、底部に橋脚を貫通配設する貫通孔部が設けられ橋脚の外周を囲むように設置される仮締切り構造体を構築し、橋脚と仮締切り構造体とに降下用ガイドを設置し、この降下用ガイドは、上下方向に長さを有する降下用レールが前記橋脚外周に設置されていて、この降下用レールに沿って仮締切り構造体が降下移動可能に構成され、前記吊り足場の作業用底部を除去した後、この降下用ガイドを介して橋脚に対し仮締切り構造体を橋下の水中に降下させ、この仮締切り構造体底部の前記貫通孔部と前記橋脚の外周との間の隙間を止水手段で止水し、止水完了後に仮締切り構造体内に入り込んでいる水を排水して、仮締切り構造体内を作業用ドライエリアとすることを特徴とする橋脚補修・補強工事に用いる仮締切り構造体の設置工法。 A suspension scaffold is installed in a non-submerged area above the pier.
