Description
本願は、2014年5月15日に、日本に出願された特願2014−101840号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
本実施形態に係るバイオマスを用いた液体燃料製造方法は、図1に示すように、木質系バイオマスの一種であるオイルパームの幹(パーム幹X1)をバイオマス(原料)として選定する。
(1)上記実施形態に係るバイオマスを用いた液体燃料製造方法では、木質系バイオマスの一種であるパーム幹X1を原料としたが、本発明はこれに限定されない。本願発明は、樹液として糖液を含む木質系バイオマスの他に、各種のバイオマスに適用可能である。
例えば、糖分を含む樹液を有するセルロース系バイオマスには、パーム幹X1の他にパームの葉、バナナ、サトウキビ、トウモロコシ、キャッサバ、サゴ椰子、ヤムイモ、ソルガム、馬鈴薯、セルロースと樹液(またはジュース)、セルロース・でん粉・樹液(またはジュース)からなる作物等、種々の植物があり、各種のセルロース系バイオマスに適用可能である。

Claims (4)
- バイオマスを糖化処理する糖化工程と、
前記糖化工程によって得られた糖化液をメタン発酵処理するメタン発酵工程と、
前記メタン発酵工程によって得られたバイオガスから液体燃料を生成するBTL(Biogas to Liquid)工程とを有し、
前記BTL工程は、
前記メタン発酵工程によって得られたバイオガスから合成ガスを生成する合成ガス生成工程と、
前記合成ガス生成工程で得られた合成ガスをFT(Fischer-Tropsch)合成処理するFT合成工程と、
前記FT合成工程で得られたFT合成油をアップグレード処理するアップグレード工程とを有し、
前記FT合成工程及び前記アップグレード工程で得られる排水を前記メタン発酵工程で処理するバイオマスを用いた液体燃料製造方法。 - 前記バイオマスが樹液として糖液を含む木質系バイオマスの場合には、前記糖化工程の前工程として、前記木質系バイオマスから樹液を搾汁する搾汁工程を含み、
前記メタン発酵工程では、前記糖化液と樹液とをメタン発酵処理する請求項1に記載のバイオマスを用いた液体燃料製造方法。 - 前記糖化工程の前工程として、前記バイオマスを破砕する破砕工程をさらに有する請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載のバイオマスを用いた液体燃料製造方法。
- 前記バイオマスは、オイルパームの幹あるいは/及び前記オイルパームからパーム油の製油工場で発生するパームオイル廃液である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のバイオマスを用いた液体燃料製造方法。
