Description
本出願は、2013年3月15日に出願された、米国仮特許出願番号第61/799,133号、表題「LOCKABLE SYRINGE ASSEMBLY」への優先権を主張し、その内容は参照することにより本明細書にその全体が組み込まれる。

Claims (12)
- シリンジアセンブリであって、
近位端及び遠位端を含むバレルと、
隆起表面を含むプランジャと、
前記バレル内に配置され、前記プランジャに動作可能に接続され、かつ前記プランジャの回転位置に基づいて前記プランジャの長手方向の移動を制限するか、又は可能にするように構成された、第1及び第2の部分的なリングとを含んでおり、前記第1の部分的なリングの内側表面は、当該第1の部分的なリングの細い端部から、当該第1の部分的なリングの厚い端部まで延びる非円形の弓状表面を含んで第1カム表面を形成しており、また前記プランジャの前記隆起表面は、当該プランジャの長手方向の移動が制限される固定構成にあるとき、前記第1の部分的なリングに半径方向の力をかけるように構成されている、シリンジアセンブリ。 - 前記プランジャの前記長手方向の移動を可能にする非固定構成にあるときに、前記隆起表面は、前記第1の部分的なリングに最小の半径方向の力をかける、請求項1に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の部分的なリングが剛性材料を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の部分的なリングの外側表面は、円形の弓状表面を含むとともに、前記バレルの内側表面とかみ合うように構成される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の部分的なリングは第1末端停止部を含み、
前記第1末端停止部は、前記第1の部分的なリングの前記細い端部から半径方向内向きに延びる突起部を含むとともに、前記プランジャの前記隆起表面が前記第1の部分的なリングの前記細い端部を越えて回転するのを防ぐような大きさ及び配置である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。 - 前記第1の部分的なリングは第2末端停止部を含み、
前記第2末端停止部は、前記第1の部分的なリングの前記厚い端部から半径方向内向きに延びる突起部を含むとともに、前記プランジャの前記隆起表面が前記第1の部分的なリングの前記厚い端部を越えて回転するのを防ぐような大きさ及び配置である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。 - 前記第1の部分的なリングの前記内側表面が、前記第2末端停止部付近の、前記第1の部分的なリングの前記厚い端部にリッジを含み、これは前記プランジャの前記隆起表面が前記リッジと係合する際に、前記プランジャの長手方向の移動に抵抗するような向き及び大きさである、請求項6に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
- 前記リッジは、前記プランジャの前記隆起表面の外側表面上に形成された歯と係合するような大きさ及び向きである、請求項7に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の部分的なリングは、前記バレルと係合して前記第1の部分的なリングを前記バレル内に保持するように構成されている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
- 前記バレルは前記近位端に座部区域を更に含み、前記第1及び第2の部分的なリングは前記座部区域内に配置され、
前記座部区域は、前記第1及び第2の部分的なリングを前記バレル内に前記近位端にて保持するように構成されている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。 - 前記プランジャが前記固定構成へと回転される際に当たる、触覚的インジケータを更に含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
- 前記バレルに一体化される弁を更に含み、前記弁は前記バレル内で、前記プランジャと前記弁との間に真空を維持するように構成されている、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジアセンブリ。
