Claims (10)
- 外科用器具であって、
a)当該針本体を長手方向に貫通する内部ルーメンを規定する細長い針本体を備え、当該針本体は、尖った遠位端部分を有し、
b)前記針本体の前記内部ルーメンと作動的に関連付けられた組立体を備え、当該組立体は、
i)前記針本体の前記内部ルーメンの内面に対応する外面輪郭を有するシャフトと、
ii)前記シャフトから遠位方向に延びると共に前記シャフトの長手方向軸線から半径方向外方に付勢された一対のアームと、
を含み、
前記一対のアームのうちの少なくとも一方は、前記針本体の前記尖った遠位端部分を超えて軸方向に延びるように動作可能であり、当該少なくとも一方のアームは、前記針本体を保護して偶発的な針先端による外傷を生じさせないようにするべく前記針本体の前記尖った遠位端部分に対する栓子として作用するようになっており、
c)ハンドル部分であって、前記細長い針本体と前記シャフトとの両方の近位端部分が当該ハンドル部分内において回動可能に支持されている、というハンドル部分を備え、
前記ハンドル部分は、更に、前記細長い針本体を前記一対のアーム及び前記シャフト上でこれに沿って前進させたり引っ込めたりするように構成されており、
前記細長い針本体は、当該針本体を更に保護して偶発的な針による外傷を生じさせないよう引っ込み位置に向かって付勢されており、
前記シャフトは、一対の分離したロッドを有しており、
前記一対のロッドは、互いに電気的に絶縁された導電体として形成されており、
前記一対のアームは、互いに電気的に絶縁された導電体として形成されており、
前記一対のアームの各々は、前記一対のロッドの各々の遠位端部分に電気的に接続されている、外科用器具。 - 前記一対のアームと前記一対のロッドとは、同一の素材から作られている、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
- 前記ハンドル部分は、前記一対のアームが前記細長い針本体の伸長によって閉鎖位置に向かって位置決めされる時、当該ハンドル部分に対する前記細長い針本体及び前記組立体の回転を阻止する、というように構成されている、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
- 前記ハンドル部分は、選択的に動作可能とされるラチェット機構体を更に有する、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
- 前記ハンドル部分は、針アーム表示を更に有する、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
- 通電可能な弾性ワイヤを更に有する、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
- 前記組立体に対する前記細長い針本体の作業範囲を定める安全機構体を更に有し、
前記一対のアームは、前記作業範囲内において、前記針本体の前記尖った遠位端部分を超えて延びることができ、
前記安全機構体は、前記尖った遠位端部分が前記一対のアームを越えて延びるのを防ぐ停止部を含む、請求項1記載の外科用器具。 - 前記アームは、外科用把持器として構成されている、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
- 前記アームは、肺クランプ(lung clamp)として構成されている、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
- 前記アームは、レトラクタ(retractor)として構成されている、請求項1記載の外科用器具。
