・ 前記バックライト光源の一つの位置に合わせて配されるインカップリング構造であって、前記入力面を通るバックライト光を受け取り、受け取ったバックライト光のほとんどを前記導光板内へと拡散させるインカップリング構造。
・ 前記受け取ったバックライト光の放射のために、前記拡散させられたバックライト光のほとんどを前記出力面を通るように導くアウトカップリング構造。

Claims (20)
- ライトガイドであって、
バックライト光を受け取る入力面と、受け取ったバックライト光を放射する出力面との2つの対向する面を備える導光板を備え、
前記導光板は、複数のバックライト光源の各々のために、
・ 前記バックライト光源の一つの位置に合わせて配されるインカップリング構造であって、前記入力面を通るバックライト光を受け取り、受け取ったバックライト光のほとんどを前記導光板内へと拡散させるインカップリング構造と、
・ 前記受け取ったバックライト光の放射のために、前記拡散させられたバックライト光のほとんどを前記出力面を通るように導くアウトカップリング構造と、
を備え、
前記インカップリング構造は、前記入力面及び前記出力面の少なくとも一方に、少なくとも一つの貫入部又は突出部を有し、
前記アウトカップリング構造も、前記入力面及び前記出力面の少なくとも一方に、少なくとも一つの貫入部又は突出部を有し、
前記インカップリング構造はインカップリング格子を備え、前記インカップリング格子は、前記入力面上に、前記受け取ったバックライト光を前記出力面の方へ収束させるように構成される形状を有し、
前記インカップリング構造は、拡散反射要素によって、前記収束させられたバックライト光を前記導光板の中で反射させることにより拡散させるように構成される、
ライトガイド。 - 前記インカップリング格子は微小スケールの格子を含む、請求項1に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記インカップリング格子はいくつかの形状及び大きさを有し、そのうちの少なくとも一つは、前記ライトガイドが複数のバックライト光源からの光を受け取るようにされている場合に、前記インカップリング構造とそれに対応する位置にあるバックライト光源との距離に応じた形状及び大きさである、請求項1に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記インカップリング格子は、収束型またはポジティブ型のフレネルレンズを形成するように構成される、請求項1に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記出力面に拡散反射要素が形成される、請求項1に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記拡散反射要素は微小スケールの形状を有する、請求項5に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記インカップリング構造に位置を合わせて配される反射材を前記出力面上に有する、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のライトガイド。
- 前記反射材は不透明層を形成するようにされる、請求項7記載のライトガイド。
- 前記拡散反射要素の部位にダークスポットが生じることを防ぐために、前記反射材は、受け取ったバックライト光の一部を通過させるように構成される透明な層を形成するようにされる、請求項7に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記アウトカップリング構造はアウトカップリング格子を有する、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のライトガイド。
- 前記アウトカップリング格子はいくつかの形状及び大きさを有し、そのうちの少なくとも一つは、前記ライトガイドが複数のバックライト光源からの光を受け取るようにされている場合に、前記アウトカップリング構造とそれに対応する位置にあるバックライト光源との距離に応じた形状及び大きさである、請求項10に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記アウトカップリング格子は、前記受け取ったバックライト光を拡散させるように構成される、発散型のフレネルレンズを形成するように構成される、請求項10に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記アウトカップリング構造は、前記出力面上に形成された拡散反射要素を有する、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のライトガイド。
- 前記拡散屈折要素は、前記入力面における円錐形の窪みの形状を有する、請求項13に記載のライトガイド。
- 請求項1から14のいずれかに記載のライトガイドと、複数のバックライト光源とを備える、タッチ検出装置。
- 前記バックライト光源が白色発光ダイオードである、請求項15に記載のタッチ検出装置。
- 前記バックライト光源が前記ライトガイドに取り付けられる、請求項15又は16に記載のタッチ検出装置。
- 請求項15から17のいずれかに記載のタッチ検出装置と、表示スクリーンとを備える、タッチスクリーンデバイス。
- 拡散層と筐体とを備え、前記筐体の中に、前記表示スクリーン、前記拡散層、ライトガイドが、直接的に、または介在部品を介して間接的に支持される、請求項18に記載のタッチスクリーンデバイス。
- テレビ受像機、コンピュータディスプレイ、情報スクリーンのいずれかである、請求項18又は19に記載のタッチスクリーンデバイス。
