Claims (9)
- 円筒形ケース;
前記円筒形ケースに電解液と共に収容された電極組立体;および、
前記円筒形ケースを密封するキャップ組立体を含み、
前記円筒形ケースは円形の底部と、前記底部から前記キャップ組立体まで延長される側部と、からなり、
前記底部に厚さ勾配を有する安全ベントが形成され、
前記底部は、前記電極組立体に向かう平らな第1面と、前記第1面の反対面として平らな第2面と、を含み、前記安全ベントは前記第2面に形成され、
前記安全ベントは、前記第1面と第2面との間に形成される第3面と、前記第3面と前記第2面とを連結する互いに離間した一対の第4面と、をさらに含み、
前記安全ベントが、
前記第1面と前記第3面との間の厚さが第1厚さである第1領域と、
前記第1面と前記第3面との間の厚さが前記第1厚さと異なる第2厚さである第2領域と、を含み、
前記第1領域と前記第2領域との間の第3面が前記第1面に対して勾配を有し、
前記第1厚さが、前記第1面と前記第2面との間の厚さの10%〜20%であり、
前記第2厚さが、前記第1面と前記第2面との間の厚さの30%〜40%であることを特徴とする円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。 - 前記安全ベントは前記底部の中心と同一の中心を有し、前記底部の半径と異なる半径を有する円形からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記第1領域と前記第2領域とは円周上に位置し、相互に90°間隔で交互に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記第1領域と前記第2領域との間に厚さが一定である第3領域がさらに形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記第3領域は前記第1面と前記第1面の反対面である第5面とを含み、前記第1面と第5面との間の厚さは前記第1面と前記第2面との間の厚さの60%〜70%であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記第2領域から第3領域まで厚さが順次に減少することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記第2領域から第3領域まで厚さが順次に増加することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記一対の第4面の間の角度は28°〜30°であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
- 前記第3面と前記第4面との間には曲面が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン2次電池。
