Claims (15)
- リード導入器であって、
外側ニードルを含み、前記外側ニードルは、近位端部分、遠位端部分、及び長手方向長さを有する外側ニードル本体と、前記外側ニードル本体の遠位端部分に沿って配置された鋭い遠位先端部と、前記外側ニードル本体の長手方向長さ全体に沿って延びる開口チャネルと、を含み、
更に、前記外側ニードルの開口チャネルに沿って摺動するように構成され且つ配置された内側ニードルを含み、前記内側ニードルは、近位端部分、遠位端部分、及び長手方向長さを有する内側ニードル本体と、前記内側ニードル本体の遠位端部分に沿って配置された鈍い遠位先端部と、前記内側ニードル本体の近位端部分に取付けられた内側ニードル近位ハブと、を含み、
更に、前記内側ニードル本体に結合された付勢要素を含み、前記付勢要素は、前記内側ニードルの遠位先端部が前記外側ニードルの鋭い遠位先端部を遮る遠位付勢位置と、前記内側ニードルの遠位先端部が前記外側ニードルの遠位先端部を少なくとも部分的に露出させる後退位置との間で、前記内側ニードルの遠位先端部の移行を容易にするように構成され且つ配置され、
更に、分割可能部材を有し、前記分割可能部材は、前記分割可能部材の長手方向長さに沿って延びる少なくとも1つの穿孔領域を有し、前記内側ニードル本体が前記外側ニードル本体の開口チャネルに配置された時に前記外側ニードル本体及び前記内側ニードル本体の上に配置されるように構成され且つ配置され、前記少なくとも1つの穿孔領域に沿って分離することによって前記外側ニードル本体及び前記内側ニードル本体から分離するように構成され且つ配置される、リード導入器。 - 前記付勢要素は、前記内側ニードル近位ハブ内に配置される、請求項1に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記内側ニードル近位ハブは、前記付勢要素を受入れるための空洞を有する第1の部分と、前記内側ニードル近位ハブの第1の部分の空洞に部分的に配置された第2の部分と、を含む、請求項1に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記外側ニードルは、前記外側ニードル本体の近位端部分に取付けられた外側ニードル近位ハブを含み、前記外側ニードル近位ハブは、前記外側ニードル近位ハブの遠位端部に沿って凹部を有する、請求項3に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記内側ニードル近位ハブの第2の部分は、前記内側ニードル近位ハブの第1の部分の空洞内に部分的に配置され、それと同時に、前記内側ニードル本体が前記外側ニードル本体の開口チャネル内に配置されたときに前記凹部内に部分的に配置される、請求項4に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記内側ニードル近位ハブは、前記内側ニードル近位ハブの第1の部分と第2の部分の間に配置された防水シールを更に含む、請求項3に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記防水シールは、前記内側ニードルハブの第2の部分の外面に沿って定められた環状溝に配置される、請求項6に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記内側ニードル近位ハブは、前記付勢要素が圧縮位置まで移行されるときに前記付勢要素の進行を制限するための係止ピンを更に含む、請求項1に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記付勢要素は、コイルバネを含む、請求項1に記載のリード導入器。
- 更に、前記内側ニードル近位ハブに沿って配置され且つシリンジを受入れるように構成され且つ配置されたルアー取付け具を含む、請求項1に記載のリード導入器。
- 更に、前記内側ニードル近位ハブ内に配置され且つ前記内側ニードル本体のルアー取付け具と内腔の間を延びるチューブを含む、請求項10に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記内側ニードル本体は、前記内側ニードル近位ハブから遠位に延びる内腔を有する、請求項1に記載のリード導入器。
- 前記分割可能部材は、
少なくとも2つの引き離しタブを備えた近位ハブと、
前記外側ニードル本体及び前記内側ニードル本体を受入れるように構成され且つ配置された内腔と、を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの穿孔領域は、前記少なくとも2つの引き離しタブが前記分割可能部材にほぼ直交する方向に互いから引き離される時に分離するように構成され且つ配置される、請求項1に記載のリード導入器。 - 挿入キットであって、
請求項1に記載のリード導入器と、
神経刺激リードと、を含み、
前記神経刺激リードは、
患者内に埋込むまれるように構成され且つ配置され、遠位端部分及び近位端部分を有するリード本体と、
前記リード本体の前記遠位端部分に配置された複数の電極と、
前記リード本体の前記近位端部分に配置された複数の端子と、
前記複数の電極を前記複数の端子に電気的に結合される複数の導電ワイヤと、を有し、 前記外側ニードルの開口チャネルは、前記リード導入器の内側ニードルが前記開口チャネルに挿入されていないときに、前記リード本体の遠位端部分が、前記リード本体が前記外側ニードルの開口チャネルを通して前記リード導入器の外側ニードルから横方向に分離可能である状態で前記開口チャネルの中に挿入可能であるように構成され且つ配置される、挿入キット。 - 電気刺激システムであって、
請求項14に記載の挿入キットと、
前記挿入キットの神経刺激リードに電気的に結合するように構成され且つ配置された制御モジュールと、を含み、
前記制御モジュールは、ハウジングと、前記ハウジング内に配置された電子サブアセンブリと、前記神経刺激リードを受入れるコネクタを含み、
前記コネクタは、前記リード本体の近位端部分を受入れるポートを有するコネクタハウジングと、前記コネクタハウジング内に配置された複数の複数のコネクタ接点を含み、前記複数のコネクタ接点は、前記神経刺激リードの近位端部分が前記コネクタハウジングによって受入れられるときに前記神経刺激リードの複数の端子に結合されるように構成され且つ配置される、電気刺激システム。
