Claims (13)
- 赤外線ソースアセンブリであって、
光路に沿って赤外電磁放射線を放出するエミッタであって、前記エミッタは、赤外電磁放射線が放出される放射立体角を規定し、放出された赤外電磁放射線のうち前記光路に沿って使用可能な部分が、前記放射立体角より小さい有用な立体角を規定し、前記放射立体角が前記有用な立体角を包含する、エミッタと、
前記有用な立体角の外側にある放出された赤外電磁放射線の少なくとも一部を反射する反射アセンブリであって、反射される赤外電磁放射線が、前記エミッタのところに又はその近くに集束されるように構成される、反射アセンブリと、
を有するソースアセンブリ。 - 前記反射アセンブリは、少なくとも1つの集束ミラーを有する、請求項1に記載のソースアセンブリ。
- 前記反射アセンブリは、前記有用な立体角の外側にある放出された赤外電磁放射線の少なくとも30%を集束させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のソースアセンブリ。
- 前記反射アセンブリは、異なるロケーションから反射された赤外電磁放射線が前記エミッタ上の異なるロケーションに集束されるように、構成される、請求項1に記載のソースアセンブリ。
- 前記反射アセンブリは、放出された赤外電磁放射線を反射する単一の実質的に連続する反射面を形成する、請求項1に記載のソースアセンブリ。
- 赤外電磁放射線を放出する方法であって、
放射表面から光路に沿って赤外電磁放射線を放出するステップであって、前記赤外電磁放射線は、前記放射表面により規定される放射立体角で放出され、放出された赤外電磁放射線のうち光路に沿って使用可能な部分が、前記放射立体角より小さい有用な立体角を規定し、前記放射立体角が前記有用な立体角を包含する、ステップと、
前記有用な立体角の外側にある前記放射立体角で放出された赤外電磁放射線の少なくとも一部を反射するステップであって、反射される赤外電磁放射線が前記放射表面に又はその近くに集束されるようにし、それによって、前記放射表面における又はその近くにおける熱を増大させる、ステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記反射するステップは、少なくとも1つの集束ミラーによって実施される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記反射するステップが、前記有用な立体角の外側にある放出された赤外電磁放射線の少なくとも30%を、前記放射表面に又はその近くに集束するように反射することを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 異なるロケーションから反射された赤外電磁放射線は、前記エミッタ上の異なるロケーションに集束される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記反射するステップは、放出された赤外電磁放射線を反射する単一の実質的に連続する反射面によって実施される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記有用な立体角で放出される赤外電磁放射線の前記一部をコリメートするように構成されるコリメート光学系を更に有する、請求項1に記載のソースアセンブリ。
- 前記コリメート光学系が、前記放出された赤外電磁放射線のうち前記光路に沿って使用可能な部分を規定する、請求項11に記載のソースアセンブリ。
- 前記反射アセンブリが、前記有用な立体角の外側にある前記電磁放射線の少なくとも一部を受け取るように、前記光路の周りに構成される複数の反射体を有する、請求項11に記載のソースアセンブリ。
