Description
Claims (13)
- ジルコン結晶粒を含み、外側部分と内部部分とを有する本体と、
前記ジルコン結晶粒間に存在し、また前記本体中に略均一に分布する遊離シリカ粒界相と
を含む構成要素であって、
前記本体は、前記本体の全重量に対して2重量%以下の含有量の遊離シリカを含み、
前記本体は、Ta 2 O 5 、TiO 2 、Nb 2 O 5 、Fe 2 O 3 、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される焼結助剤を含み、当該焼結助剤の含有量は元素単体換算として0.44重量%超である、構成要素。 - ジルコン結晶粒を含み、外側部分と内部部分とを有する本体と、
前記ジルコン結晶粒間に存在する遊離シリカ粒界相と
を含む構成要素であって、
前記本体は、前記本体の全重量に対して2重量%以下の含有量の遊離シリカを含み、
前記本体は、
1.55MPa.m−0.5超の破壊靭性(K1c)、
60MPa超の破壊係数(MoR)、
175GPa超の弾性率(MoE)、
6.0GPA超のビッカース硬度、および
これらの任意の組合せ
からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの特性を備え、
前記本体は、Ta 2 O 5 、TiO 2 、Nb 2 O 5 、Fe 2 O 3 、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される焼結助剤を含み、当該焼結助剤の含有量は元素単体換算として0.44重量%超である、構成要素。 - 前記遊離シリカは前記本体中に略均一に分布する、請求項2に記載の構成要素。
- 前記本体は、0.05超の比CBSA/CBFSを含み、CBSAは前記本体の全重量に対する焼結助剤の重量%での含有量を表し、CBFSは前記本体の全重量に対する遊離シリカの重量%での含有量を表す、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載の構成要素。
- 前記本体は、前記本体の全重量に対して0.5重量%以下の含有量のAl2O3を含む、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載の構成要素。
- 前記本体は、5以下のCBAl2O3/CBFSの比を含み、CBAl2O3は前記本体の全重量に対するAl2O3の重量%での含有量を表し、CBFSは前記本体の全重量に対する遊離シリカの重量%での含有量を表す、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載の構成要素。
- 前記本体は、0.007以下のCBAl2O3/CBZrSiO4の比を含み、CBAl2O3は前記本体の全重量に対するAl2O3の重量%での含有量を表し、CBZrSiO4は前記本体の全重量に対するZrSiO4の重量%での含有量を表す、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載の構成要素。
- 前記本体は、1300℃で測定して50ppm/時以下のクリープ速度を有する、請求項1または2、3または4のいずれか一項に記載の構成要素。
- ジルコン構成要素を形成する方法であって、
ジルコン結晶粒を含む原材料粉末を準備するステップと、
Ta 2 O 5 、TiO 2 、Nb 2 O 5 、Fe 2 O 3 、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される焼結助剤を準備し、前記原材料粉末を前記焼結助剤と混ぜ合わせて、複合材料混合物を形成するステップと、
前記複合材料混合物を焼結して、ジルコン結晶粒、および前記ジルコン結晶粒間に存在し、かつ本体中に略均一に分布している遊離シリカ粒界相を含む前記本体を形成するステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記原材料粉末は、前記原材料粉末の全重量に対して2.0重量%以下の含有量の遊離シリカを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記原材料粉末は、前記原材料粉末の全重量に対して0.5重量%以下の含有量のAl2O3を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 原材料粉末を準備するステップは、前記原材料粉末を粉砕するステップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記原材料粉末は15μm以下の中央粒径(D50)になるように粉砕される、請求項12に記載の方法。
