Abstract
Description
Claims (6)
- 血管の断面を表す超音波画像内において、当該血管の短軸方向よりも長軸方向に長い2次元フィルタを用いた処理により、長軸方向に対応した筋画像を強調する強調処理部と、
前記2次元フィルタの出力値に基づいて、筋画像が強調された前記超音波画像内において、前記血管の膜境界の候補となる複数のトレース線候補を抽出する候補抽出部と、
前記各トレース線候補ごとに得られる連続性に係る評価値に基づいて、前記複数のトレース線候補の中から前記血管の内膜内側境界と中外膜境界に対応した2つのトレース線を選択する境界選択部と、
を有する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記強調処理部は、前記血管の長軸方向に対して複数の角度で傾けられた前記2次元フィルタを用いた処理により、前記複数の角度に対応した前記筋画像を強調する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記2次元フィルタの短軸方向の長さが前記血管の内膜内側境界から中外膜境界までの距離よりも短い、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記候補抽出部は、筋画像が強調された前記超音波画像内において、前記2次元フィルタの出力値が極大となる複数の極大画素を特定し、隣接関係にある複数の極大画素を連結して前記各トレース線候補とする、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記境界選択部は、前記各トレース線候補ごとに当該トレース線候補を構成する複数画素に関する前記2次元フィルタの出力値を積算した積算値を前記評価値とし、前記複数のトレース線候補の中から、前記積算値が大きい方から順に2つのトレース線候補を前記血管の内膜内側境界と中外膜境界に対応した2つのトレース線として選択する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
選択された前記2つのトレース線間の距離を算出し、前記2つのトレース線のうちの一方のトレース線から他方のトレース線側に前記距離だけ離れた位置を含む探索領域内において、前記複数のトレース線候補の中から前記他方のトレース線に追加する少なくとも1つのトレース線候補を探索する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。
