Claims (10)
- 画素領域に曲がった形態で構成された複数の画素を有する第1基板、並びに、前記第1基板に対向合着され、複数の開口部及びブラックマトリックスを有する第2基板を含む表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの上部に配置され前記開口部と並ぶように傾いた複数のレンチキュラーレンズを有するレンチキュラーレンズシートとを含み、
前記複数の開口部各々は、前記画素の一側辺と並んだ傾きで傾きながら前記画素と異なる形態を有し、
前記複数の開口部各々が占める領域は前記複数の画素各々が占める領域よりも小さく、
前記ブラックマトリックスは、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に構成され、前記複数の画素各々に重畳される前記複数の開口部各々を画定し、
前記複数の画素の各々は、
鈍角で曲がった第1辺と第2辺とで構成された前記一側辺と、
前記一側辺と並ぶように離隔されながら鈍角で曲がった第3辺と第4辺とで構成された他側辺と、
前記第1辺と前記第3辺とを連結する第1連結辺と、
前記第2辺と前記第4辺とを連結する第2連結辺と、
を含み、
前記複数の開口部各々は、前記画素上に重畳されながら前記第2辺の方に拡張された拡張部をさらに含む、
立体映像表示装置。 - 前記複数の画素各々は、中心部を基準に上下対称構造を有し、
前記複数の開口部各々は、前記画素の中心部を基準に上下非対称構造を有する、請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記複数の開口部各々は、前記第1辺、第4辺、第1及び第2連結辺上に重畳されるN個(但し、Nは5)の頂点を含むM(但し、MはNと同じかNより大きい自然数)角形の形状を有する、請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記複数の開口部各々は、
前記第1辺と並んだ第1開口辺と、
前記第3辺と並んだ第2開口辺と、
前記第1開口辺の一端と前記第2開口辺の一端とを連結する第3開口辺と、
前記第2連結辺と並んで前記第1開口辺の他端に連結された第4開口辺と、
前記第4辺と並んで前記第2開口辺の他端と前記第4開口辺の一端とを連結する第5開口辺と、を含む請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記複数の開口部各々は、
前記第1辺と並んだ第1開口辺と、
前記第3辺と並んだ第2開口辺と、
前記第1開口辺の一端と前記第2開口辺の一端とを連結する第3開口辺と、
前記第2連結辺と並んだ第4開口辺と、
前記第4辺と並んで前記第2開口辺の他端と前記第4開口辺の一端とを連結する第5開口辺と、
前記第2辺と並んで前記第1開口辺の他端と前記第4開口辺の他端とを連結する第6開口辺と、を含む請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記第3及び第4開口辺は、互いに並びながら互いに同一な長さを有し、
前記第5及び第6開口辺は、互いに並びながら互いに同一な長さを有する、請求項5に記載の立体映像表示装置。 - 前記第1開口辺は、前記第1辺と重畳される、請求項4乃至6のうちいずれか一つに記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記第2開口辺の延長線は、上下に隣接した開口部の第1開口辺上に重畳される、請求項4乃至6のうちいずれか一つに記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記複数のレンチキュラーレンズ各々の長さの方向は、前記開口部の第1開口辺と並んだ、請求項4乃至6のうちいずれか一つに記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記複数のレンチキュラーレンズ各々は、長さの方向に沿って複数の視域を画定し、
前記複数の視域間の境界部は、前記開口部の第1開口辺と一致する、請求項9に記載の立体映像表示装置。
