Description
本願は、2011年1月28日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/437,392号(発明の名称:REGASIFICATION PLANT)及び2011年12月7日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/567,818号(発明の名称:REGASIFICATION PLANT)の優先権主張出願であり、米国特許仮出願第61/567,818号を参照により引用し、その記載内容全体を本明細書の一部とする。
本明細書において説明する実施形態は、燃料燃焼式気化器と関連したエミッションを減少させると共にLNG冷熱を利用する適応性を高めた液化天然ガス(LNG)再ガス化技術及びシステムを提供する。一実施形態では、LNGは、ガスタービン入口空気冷却又は中間冷却から利用できる熱、及び複合サイクル発電プラントの復水器からの熱を用いて再ガス化される。幾つかの実施形態では、中間熱伝達流体(HTF)は、熱を発電プラント又は給水塔からLNG気化器に伝達することができる。
図4は、LNG再ガス化プロセスと複合サイクル発電プラントの両方を有する複合プラント400のプロセスブロック図である。複合プラント400では、LNG402をポンプ404中に通し、ポンプ404は、LNGを最終ガスの販売圧力まで昇圧させる。次に、LNG402を極低温熱交換器408内で熱伝達流体(HTF)の温かい流れ406によって再ガス化する。温かいHTFは、低温LNGよりも高く、40°F(4.4℃)よりも高く、50°F(10℃)よりも高く且つ60°F(15.6℃)よりも高い温度を有する。再ガスプロセスからの天然ガス410を市場に提供することができ、又、その一部分を用いて発電プラントに燃料供給することができる。LNG気化器として用いられる極低温熱交換器408は、シェルアンドチューブ式、チューブインチューブ式又は他形式の熱交換器の任意のものであって良い。
Claims (28)
- 液化天然ガス(LNG)を再ガス化する方法であって、
熱を発電プラントからLNG再ガスプロセスに提供するステップを備え、
加温塔形態と冷却塔形態の両方で作動するように構成された前記発電プラントの冷却塔内で、
前記熱が十分でない場合、加温塔形態で稼働されている冷却塔から前記LNG再ガスプロセスに追加の熱を提供するステップと、
前記熱が十分な場合、冷却塔形態で稼働されている冷却塔で前記発電プラント用の冷却水を冷却するステップと、備えている、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記発電プラントが稼働しているとき、前記冷却塔内で水を冷却するステップを更に備えている、
