Description
本願は、2011年11月8日に出願されたカナダ国特許出願第2,757,962号(発明の名称:PROCESSING A HYDROCARBON STREAM USING SUPERCRITICAL WATER)の優先権主張出願である。
炭化水素の回収のための溶剤を利用した抽出プロセスは、採掘オイルサンドの水利用抽出の代替手段として提案された。溶剤利用抽出の場合、溶剤は、主要な液体であり、ビチューメンの抽出は、ビチューメンを溶剤中に溶解させることによって起こる。しかしながら、溶剤利用抽出プロセスは、オイルサンド業界では種々の理由で商業的に利用されなかった。オイルサンドへの溶剤利用抽出の利用に関する大きな課題は、オイルサンド中の微粒子が炭化水素抽出物からの固形物の分離を妨害する傾向があるということにあった。固形物凝集による溶剤抽出は、この課題を解決するために提案された。この技術の元々の利用は、ソルベント・エクストラクション・スフェリカル・アグロメレーション(Solvent Extraction Spherical Agglomeration: SESA)という造語であった。SESAプロセスのより最近の説明は、スパークス等(Sparks et al.),フュエル(Fuel),1992年,第71巻,p.1349〜1353に見受けられる。
Claims (17)
- ビチューメン産出流をアップグレードする方法であって、
ビチューメン産出流を用意するステップと、
必要であれば粘土を加え5〜15重量%の粘土含有量を達成して供給物流を生じさせるステップと、
前記供給物流を、20〜30重量%の水含有量を達成するために加熱に先立って脱水するステップと、
前記脱水された供給物流を前記水の準臨界又は超臨界条件まで加熱してアップグレードさせたビチューメン流を生じさせるステップと、を備えている、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ビチューメン産出流は、水を利用した抽出プロセス、現場ビチューメン回収プロセス又は溶剤を利用したビチューメン抽出プロセスからのものである、
請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記ビチューメン産出流は、前記水を利用した抽出プロセスからのものである、
請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記水を利用した抽出プロセスからの前記ビチューメン産出流は、ビチューメンフロスである、
請求項3記載の方法。 - 前記ビチューメン産出流は、前記現場ビチューメン回収プロセスからのものである、
請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記現場ビチューメン回収プロセスは、水蒸気支援重力式排出法である、
請求項5記載の方法。 - 前記現場ビチューメン回収プロセスは、サイクル式水蒸気刺激(cyclic steam stimulation: CSS)法、溶剤支援SAGD(solvent-assisted SAGD:SA‐SAGD)法、水蒸気・ガスプッシュ(steam and gas push: SAGP)法、複合水蒸気・蒸気抽出(combined steam and vapour extraction: SAVEX)法、膨張溶剤SAGD(expanding solvent SAGD: ES‐SAGD)法、一定水蒸気排出(constant steam drainage: CSD)法、回収率を向上させるための水蒸気への液体追加(liquid addition to steam for enhancing recovery:LASER)法、サイクル溶剤優位回収プロセス(cyclilc solbent dominated recovery process: CSDRP)、蒸気抽出(vapour extraction: VAPEX)法、水攻法(water flooding)、水蒸気攻法(stream flooding)又はこれらの派生的方法である、
請求項5記載の方法。 - 5〜15重量%の粘土含有量を達成するために粘土が加熱に先立って前記ビチューメン産出流に加えられる、
請求項5記載の方法。 - 前記ビチューメン産出流は、前記溶剤を利用したビチューメン抽出プロセスからのものである、
