The present invention relates to a washing machine that performs washing, rinsing, dehydration, and drying processes in a rotating drum having a rotating shaft that is horizontal or inclined.

Conventionally, this type of drum type washing machine is configured as shown in FIG. FIG. 9 is a longitudinal sectional view of a main part of an operation display panel unit of a conventional drum type washing machine. Hereinafter, the configuration will be described.

A conventional drum-type washing machine of this type has a bottomed cylindrical rotating drum in which a large number of through-holes for allowing water and air to pass are formed in the circumferential surface in a horizontal direction or a direction inclined from the horizontal direction. It arrange | positions and it is comprised so that a rotation drum can be rotationally driven. A clothing doorway is formed on the front side of the aquarium so that it can be opened and closed by a door. The laundry is put into the rotating drum from the clothing doorway to control water injection and drainage into the aquarium and rotation of the rotating drum. Thus, washing, rinsing, and dehydration processes are performed.

An operation display panel having a light emitting display section and a pressing operation button section is arranged at the upper front of the main body, and the user selects a desired driving course and starts driving. The operation display panel is made of a transparent resin, and the surface is covered with an insert-molded film to form a decorative surface that is colored and printed. The course selected by the user is lit and flashes during driving so that the user can easily identify the driving situation. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

FIG. 2 shows a conventional operation display panel 50. Reference numeral 51 denotes a liquid crystal panel in which all display contents are turned on. When the user selects a “hurry” course, for example, a course button 52 is displayed. When you press, only the content that is valid for course selection lights up, and the course you set changes each time you press the course button. After confirming that it is set to “Hurry”, press the “Start” button to start operation.

However, in the structure of the conventional drum-type washing machine, many operation buttons for setting the operation content such as a course button are arranged on the operation display panel, and it is difficult to understand which button should be pressed and the operability is poor. In addition, since the display contents of the liquid crystal panel are only lit at a predetermined display position, the larger the number, the smaller the size of each display and the lower the visibility.

This invention solves the said conventional subject, and provides the washing machine excellent in operativity, visibility, and external appearance design property, ensuring the waterproofness around the operation display panel.

In order to solve the above-described conventional problems, a washing machine of the present invention includes a washing machine housing that houses a drum that is rotationally driven, and a substantially rectangular opening window that is disposed above the washing machine housing. an operation display panel made of a resin having a transparent glass plate having a function to change the display of the liquid crystal panel provided on the back surface side by operating a transparent electrode bonded to the back side from the surface, a transparent adhered to the back surface A transparent glass plate having a function of changing the display of the liquid crystal panel provided on the back surface side by operating the electrode from the front surface, and a liquid crystal mounting base on which the liquid crystal panel on the back surface side of the transparent glass plate is mounted. the by crystal mount is mounted from the back side of the operation display panel, the elastic member covering the surface side of the transparent glass plate is pressed against the outer rear surface side of the opening window and the transparent glass plate, wherein Sex body, a structure that does not cover the surface of at least one side of said transparent glass plate located on the rear surface of the vertical and horizontal sides of the opening window, side of the opening window does not cover the front surface side, the side surface side The elastic body which covers is pressed against the outer back surface of the side of the opening window .

With such a configuration, when the user sets the operation details, if he selects the course he wants to select by directly touching the display appearing on the transparent glass plate, the lower level display such as the `` washing '' time setting will appear, Hierarchical operations can be performed by touching them, the number of operation buttons can be reduced, the display can be enlarged, and operability and visibility can be improved. In addition, while ensuring the waterproofness of the transparent glass plate and the opening window, it is possible to reduce the level difference with respect to the transparent glass plate on the left and right sides of the opening window, realizing a highly waterproof and highly designable operation display unit. can do.

According to the configuration of the present invention, it is possible to improve the operability and visibility, and to realize an operation display unit with high waterproofness and high design.

The principal part top view of the operation display panel part in Embodiment 1 of this invention Plan view of the main part of the operation display panel of a conventional drum type washing machine The longitudinal cross-sectional view of the drum type washing machine in Embodiment 1 of this invention Overall perspective view of the drum type washing machine 同ドラム式洗濯機の操作表示パネル部のA−A要部縦断面図AA main part longitudinal cross-sectional view of the operation display panel of the drum type washing machine BB main part cross-sectional view of the operation display panel of the drum type washing machine, and main part cross-sectional view including a fastening boss Perspective view of essential parts of operation display panel of the drum type washing machine The principal part perspective view of the elastic-body part of the drum type washing machine Longitudinal section of the operation display panel of a conventional drum type washing machine

A first invention is a washing machine housing that houses a drum that is driven to rotate, a resin operation display panel that is disposed above the washing machine housing and has a substantially rectangular opening window, and a rear surface. a transparent glass plate having a function to change the display of the liquid crystal panel provided on the back surface side by operating the adhered transparent electrodes from a surface, a transparent electrode bonded to the rear surface on the back side by operating from the surface A transparent glass plate having a function of changing the display of the provided liquid crystal panel, and a liquid crystal mounting base on which the liquid crystal panel on the back side of the transparent glass plate is mounted, and the liquid crystal mounting base on the operation display panel By being attached from the back surface side, the elastic body covering the front surface side of the transparent glass plate is pressed against the transparent glass plate and the outer back surface of the side of the opening window, and the elastic body is up, down, left and right sides of the opening window. Behind And said not to cover the surface side of the at least one side of the transparent glass plate structure is close to the sides of the opening window does not cover the front surface side, the outer rear surface of the elastic body covering the side surface side edge of the opening window It is set as the structure pressed against .

As a result, hierarchical operation when the user sets the driving details is possible, the number of operation buttons can be reduced, the display can be enlarged, and operability and visibility can be improved. At the same time, it is possible to reduce the level difference between the transparent glass plate and the opening window while the opening window is transparent to the transparent glass plate, thus realizing a highly waterproof and highly designable operation display unit. it can.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the invention, an opening is provided at a position corresponding to the end surface of the transparent glass plate on the lower side of the elastic body. Even when the lower seal of the opening window is broken due to a defective part such as a short shot of the operation display panel, the infiltrated water passes through the opening provided on the lower side of the elastic body and falls downward, Since it is set as the structure which does not go to the transparent electrode part of a transparent glass plate back surface, it can prevent that a charging part splashes water and can ensure safety.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect of the present invention, a groove is provided on the left and right outer sides of the elastic body. When the left and right seals of the opening window are broken for the same reason as described above, However, since the invaded water passes through the groove provided in the elastic body and flows downward, it is possible to prevent water from being applied to the charging unit and to ensure safety.

A fourth invention is the invention according to any one of the first to third inventions, wherein the elastic body does not cover the surface side of the transparent glass plate is the left and right sides of the opening window, and the upper and lower sides of the opening window Is configured to cover the end face of the elastic body with vertical walls on the upper and lower sides of the operation display panel, and even when water is poured from the periphery of the operation display panel, the vertical walls provided on the upper and lower sides of the operation display panel, Since it prevents water from splashing on the end face of the elastic body, it is possible to eliminate the possibility that water will enter the operation display panel through the gap between the elastic bodies and water will be applied to the charging unit.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Further, the present invention is not limited by this embodiment.

(Embodiment 1)
1 is a plan view of a main part of an operation display panel unit according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a plan view of a main part of an operation display panel unit of a conventional drum-type washing machine, and FIG. 3 is an embodiment of the present invention. 4 is a longitudinal sectional view of the drum type washing machine in FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is an overall perspective view of the drum type washing machine, FIG. 5 is a longitudinal sectional view AA of a main part of the operation display panel portion of the drum type washing machine, and FIG. FIG. 7 is a perspective view of an essential part of an operation display panel portion of the drum type washing machine, FIG. FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a principal part of an elastic body portion of the drum type washing machine.

In FIG. 3, a water tub 2 is suspended in a main body 1 of a drum-type washing machine, and a rotating drum 3 formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape in the water tub 2 has its axial direction from the front to the back. It is tilted downward toward the side and is rotatably arranged. On the front side of the water tank 2 is formed a clothing doorway 4 leading to the opening end of the rotating drum 3, and an opening provided on an upward inclined surface formed at the front portion of the front frame body 5 constituting the front surface of the main body 1. By opening the door 9 that opens and closes the part 6, the laundry in the rotary drum 3 can be taken in and out through the clothing entrance 4. Since the door 9 is provided on the upward inclined surface, the work for putting in and out the laundry can be carried out without bending the waist, and generally the workability of the drum type washing machine for taking in and out the laundry from the sideways opening is provided. The evil has been improved.

A large number of through holes 10 communicating with the water tank 2 are formed on the peripheral surface of the rotating drum 3, and are driven to rotate in the forward and reverse directions by a motor 11 attached to the back side of the water tank 2. A water injection pipe 12 and a drain pipe 13 are connected to the water tank 2, and water injection and drainage into the water tank 2 are performed by controlling the water injection valve 14 and the drain valve 15.

An operation display panel 16 is disposed on the upper part of the front frame body 5, and a detergent charging case 17 (described in FIG. 4) is disposed on the front frame body 5 so that it can be pulled out forward. Prior to driving, the user puts the detergent into the detergent charging case 17 and operates the operation display unit 16 as necessary to set the desired driving content, start driving, pause, and the driving progress state. Can be recognized.

When the door 9 is opened and the laundry is put into the rotating drum 3 to start operation, the water injection valve 14 is opened, water is poured into the detergent charging case 17, and the detergent that has been poured therein is being poured. A predetermined amount of water is injected into the water tank 2 through the water injection pipe 12, and the rotating drum 3 is driven to rotate by the motor 11 to start the washing process. The laundry in the washing process is washed by repeating the stirring operation that is lifted in the rotating direction by the rotation of the rotating drum 2 and dropped.

After the required washing time, the drain valve 15 is opened, the dirty washing liquid is discharged from the drain pipe 13, and the washing liquid contained in the laundry is dehydrated by a dehydrating operation of rotating the rotating drum 3 at a high speed. Water is poured into the water tank 2 from the water injection pipe 12 and a rinsing process is performed. Also in the rinsing process, the laundry is rinsed by repeating the stirring operation by the rotation of the rotating drum 2.

5, 6, 7, and 8, the operation display panel 16 is disposed between the top of the front frame 5 and the top plate 18, and a film 20 in which the surface of the transparent resin portion 19 is insert-molded. An opening window 21 having a decorative surface covered with (PET film) and colored and printed and having a substantially rectangular shape is provided at the center. The opening window 21 is an area having neither transparent resin nor film, and a transparent glass plate 22 is attached to the operation display panel 16 via an elastic body 23 on the back surface thereof, and a transparent electrode 24 is mounted on the back surface of the transparent glass plate 22. Is glued. A liquid crystal panel 25 is attached to a liquid crystal mounting base 26 on the back side of the transparent glass plate 22, and a control board unit A 27 for controlling the transparent electrode and the liquid crystal panel is attached to the back side of the liquid crystal mounting base 26.

The operation display panel 16 also has a pressing operation button section 28 and a light emission display section 29. Inside the operation display panel 16, there is a control board unit B32 on which a switch 30, a light emitting element 31 and the like are mounted. Mounted. An operation member 36 having a light guide path 34 for guiding the light of the light emitting element 31 to the light emitting display unit 29 and a button unit 35 for pressing the switch 30 is provided between the operation display panel 16 and the back cover 33. Provided. Since the pressing operation button portion 28 does not have the transparent resin portion 19 and only the film 20 exists, the switch 30 can be operated with a light operation force. Further, the light emitting display portion 29 is printed with high transparency so that even the weak light of the light emitting element 31 can be sufficiently illuminated.

When the user presses the power-on button (one of the pressing operation buttons), for example, a display as shown in FIG. 1 appears on the liquid crystal panel 25 and the display is visible through the transparent glass plate 22. Next, for example, if the user touches the surface of the transparent glass plate in the area where “My Style” is displayed with a finger, for example, the screen for setting the number of times and time for “washing” or setting the water level is displayed. Etc., and proceed to lower settings one after another. Such a hierarchical setting by directly touching the display screen is called a touch panel method, and the capacitance changes when the finger touches the glass by the transparent electrode 24 bonded to the back surface of the transparent glass plate 22. By detecting, the position touched by the finger can be specified, and the display content can be advanced according to the operation.

FIG. 2 shows a conventional operation display panel 50. The display window in the center only shows the display content of the liquid crystal panel 51 through a transparent resin and a film formed by insert molding on the surface, and the display location is also determined. Therefore, as the display contents increase, the displayed characters become smaller. In addition, there are many setting buttons such as “Course” button 52, which makes it difficult to understand where the user should press, poor operability, small display characters, and poor visibility.

Therefore, as described above, the operation display panel 16 is provided with the opening window 21, and the transparent glass plate 22 with the transparent electrode 24 bonded to the back side thereof is attached via the elastic body 23, so that the user directly touches the display screen. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a large number of fixed operation buttons, and the number of operation buttons can be greatly reduced. Further, since only the display necessary for the current operation should be displayed on the liquid crystal panel 25, the display content can be reduced and increased, and operability and visibility can be improved.

On the back side of the transparent glass plate 22, there are electrical components such as the liquid crystal panel 25 and the control unit substrate A, and waterproofing is required. Therefore, the outer periphery of the substantially rectangular transparent glass plate 22 is covered with a frame-shaped elastic body 23 and attached to the back surface of the substantially rectangular opening window 21 via this elastic body. In the inside of the upper side 37 of the opening window 21 and the inside of the lower side 38, the transparent glass plate 22 is connected to the operation display panel 16 via the elastic body 23 in the three directions of the front side, the back side, and the end side of the transparent glass plate 22. The liquid crystal mounting base 26 is waterproofly attached. Further, in the inside of the left side 39 and the inside of the right side 40 of the opening window 21, the transparent glass plate 22 is attached to the operation display panel 16 and the liquid crystal through the elastic body 23 in both the back side and the end side of the transparent glass plate 22. It is attached between the bases 26 in a waterproof manner. Regarding the left and right sides, the surface side of the transparent glass plate 22 is not covered with the elastic body 23, but the elastic body 23 is pressed against the operation display panel 16 at the left and right outer portions of the transparent glass plate 22. Waterproofness is ensured. With such a configuration, it is possible to reduce the level difference with respect to the transparent glass plate 22 on the left and right sides of the opening window 21 while ensuring the waterproofness between the transparent glass 22 and the operation display panel 16. If there are fewer steps, there will be a clear design and a wider viewing angle. In addition, in the present Example, it was set as the structure which does not cover the front part of the right-and-left side of the transparent glass plate 22 with the elastic body 23, but the same effect is acquired even if an up-and-down side is the same structure.

Bosses 41 are provided at the four corners of the opening window 21 on the back surface of the operation display panel 16, and the liquid crystal mounting base 26 and the back surface cover 33 are screwed together. In the screw fastening state, the elastic body 23 is pressed by the liquid crystal mounting base 26 and is in close contact with the transparent glass plate 22 and the operation display panel 16, so that the waterproof property of the opening window 21 is ensured. Therefore, even if a user accidentally spills water on the opening window 21, water does not adhere to the electrical components such as the liquid crystal panel 25 and the control board unit A27 inside, and the user is safely protected. In the present embodiment, an example in which the liquid crystal mounting base 26 and the back cover 33 are fastened together is shown, but the same effect can be obtained even if the liquid crystal mounting base 26 is screwed to the operation display panel 16 alone.

An opening 23a is provided on the lower side of the elastic body 23 at a position corresponding to the end surface of the transparent glass plate 22, and a groove 23b is provided on the left and right outer sides. As a result, even if the seal of the opening window 21 is broken due to a scratch on the elastic body 23 or a defective part such as a short shot of the operation display panel 16, water that has entered from the lower side of the opening 21 is elastic. It passes through the opening 23a provided on the lower side of the body and goes downward, and does not go to the transparent electrode 24 on the back surface of the transparent glass plate 22. On the other hand, since water that has entered from the left and right sides passes through the groove 23b provided in the elastic body 23 and flows downward, water does not flow to the charging unit such as the control board unit B32. Such a configuration ensures safety.

In addition, a vertical wall 16 a is provided on the upper and lower sides of the operation display panel 16, and the vertical wall 16 a is configured to cover the end surface of the elastic body 23. Thus, even when water is splashed from the periphery of the operation display panel 16, water enters the operation display panel 16 through the gap between the elastic bodies 23 to prevent water from splashing on the end face of the elastic body 23. The possibility that water will be applied to the charging part can be eliminated.

Moreover, it can also prevent that a glass breaks with the impact added from the outside by attaching the transparent glass plate 22 to the back surface of the opening window 21 via the elastic body 23. FIG. An impact load is applied to the transparent glass plate 22 when the user drops something, for example. Also, when the product is delivered to the user's home in a packaged state, an impact force is also applied when the product is dropped or falls from the loaded state. Although the operation display panel 16 is made of resin and absorbs a little impact, the transparent glass plate 22 is hard but weak against impact. Therefore, by arranging the elastic body 23 on the outer periphery of the transparent glass plate 22, a flexible structure is obtained, and damage can be prevented even if an impact is applied from the outside.

Glass has a linear expansion coefficient one order of magnitude smaller than that of ABS resin. There is a large temperature difference in summer and winter when the product is installed at the user's home, and there is a considerable temperature difference depending on the season and region even when the product is stored in a packed state in the warehouse. When components having large differences in linear expansion coefficients are combined, damage to the components may occur unless the structure absorbs deformation due to thermal expansion differences. Therefore, in this embodiment, the transparent glass plate 22 is attached to the back surface of the opening window 21 via the elastic body 23, so that the dimension between the transparent glass plate 22 and the operation display panel 16 or the liquid crystal mounting base 26 is different due to the difference in thermal expansion. Even if a change occurs, it is absorbed by the elastic body 23 and can be prevented from being damaged.
