Description
従来技術では、吐出管(dispenser cannula)を有するピペットの形をしたディスペンサも存在する。吐出管は、流体の液滴を形成するように作られた吐出口を有し、当該液滴は重力によって吐出管から離れる。一般に、こうした吐出管は一種の吸入バルブ(bulb)と組み合わされ、当該吸入バルブによって、吐出口から吐出管に流体を吸入することができる。
また、効果的な実施の形態として、前記ポンプを駆動するための押下部材を有し、前記押下部材は前記流体貯蔵器に固定されていること、とする。これにより、押下部材が貯蔵器及びポンプ本体を移動させる。また、効果的な構成として、前記流体貯蔵器が摺動可能に内挿された外筒を有し、前記吐出管は、前記外筒に固定されていること、とする。これにより、ユーザは、外筒でディスペンサを保持し、親指で押下部材を駆動することができる。つまり、ユーザの動作は、在来型のピペットで必要とされる動作とほぼ類似又は同一である。
また、本発明の別の特徴として、前記ポンプ室の前記最大容積は50mlから70mlの範囲にあることとする。本発明では、この容積は、吐出口から吐出される液滴の量に相当する。
流体貯蔵器1は、内部に従動型ピストン(follower piston)12が摺動可能に設置された、円筒形のスライドシリンダ11を有する。貯蔵器が流体で満たされている時、従動型ピストン12はスライドシリンダ11の一方の端部、すなわち、ネック部13が形成されている方の端部の反対側の端部に位置している。つまり、空間の容積は、従動型ピストン12のスライドシリンダ11内での移動に従って変化する。この種の貯蔵器では、貯蔵器内に格納された流体は、常に外気から保護されており、従って、劣化することはありえない。
Claims (9)
- 流体貯蔵器(1)と、
ポンプ本体(30)と駆動ロッド(34)とからなり、それらの間に所定の最大容積を有するポンプ室(33)が形成されると共に、駆動ロッド(34)がポンプ本体(30)内を軸方向に移動することによりポンプ室(33)の容積が変化するように構成されたポンプ(3)と、
を備えた流体ディスペンサであって、
前記駆動ロッド(34)に装着された吐出管(5)を更に有しており、
当該吐出管(5)は、重力によって吐出管から分離される液滴を形成する吐出口(52)を備えると共に、
前記ポンプ室(33)の所定の最大容積は、前記吐出口(52)から吐出される液滴の量に実質的に等しく、
前記吐出管(5)は所定の内部容積を有し、前記内部容積は前記ポンプ室(33)の前記最大容積の3乃至7倍に相当すること、
を特徴とする流体ディスペンサ。 - 前記吐出管(5)は所定の内部容積を有し、前記内部容積は前記ポンプ室(33)の前記最大容積の4乃至6倍に相当すること、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスペンサ。 - 前記吐出管(5)は透明な材料で製造されており、前記透明な材料の一例はガラスであること、
を特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の流体ディスペンサ。 - 前記吐出管(5)は細長く、そのため、全体的にはピペットの形状を有すること、
を特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の流体ディスペンサ。 - 前記ポンプ(3)を駆動するための押下部材(2)を有し、前記押下部材(2)は前記流体貯蔵器(1)に固定されていること、
を特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の流体ディスペンサ。 - 前記流体貯蔵器(1)が摺動可能に内挿された外筒(6)を有し、前記吐出管(5)は、前記外筒(6)に固定されていること、
を特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の流体ディスペンサ。 - 前記外筒(6)は開放された終端部(62)と先端部(65)とを有し、前記終端部の内部では押下部材(2)が軸方向に移動可能であり、前記先端部内部には、前記吐出管(5)が、移動しない状態で、かつ、前記吐出口(52)が軸方向に突出した状態で装着されており、
駆動中、前記押下部材(2)が前記流体貯蔵器(1)及び前記ポンプ本体(30)を前記外筒(6)内で移動させることにより、戻しスプリング(35)を圧縮すること、
を特徴とする請求項6に記載の流体ディスペンサ。 - 前記流体貯蔵器(1)は、流体が前記流体貯蔵器から取り出されるのに従って移動する従動型ピストン(12)を有すること、
を特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の流体ディスペンサ。 - 前記ポンプ室(33)の前記最大容積は50mlから70mlの範囲にあること、
を特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の流体ディスペンサ。
