Claims (11)
- 子宮頸部サンプリング器具であって、
a)遠位端及び長手方向軸を有するハンドルと、
b)前記長手方向軸に実質的に沿って前記ハンドルの前記遠位端から外側方向に延在する細長い棒であって、外側表面、前端、及び前記ハンドルの前記遠位端に固定して装着される後端を有する、棒と、
c)前記ハンドルの前記遠位端及びシースに結合される選択的に移動可能なアクチュエータと、
d)前記棒の一部分を選択的に被包し、前記棒の前記前端に近接する前記棒の一部分及び前記アクチュエータの第1の端の一部分に固定して装着されるシースであって、前記シースが前記シースの遠位端部分上のスリットであって対向する縁によって境界付けされるスリットを画定する、シースと
を備え、
前記シースの前記遠位端部分及び前記シースの前記遠位端部分の下にある前記棒の前記外側表面の一部分が、サンプル収集孔を画定する、器具。 - 前記スリットは、前記スリットの前記対向する縁が前記サンプル収集孔を実質的に封止するように実質的に接合する閉鎖位置と、子宮頸管腔内に位置付けられたときに子宮頸部サンプルを得るために、前記スリットの前記対向する縁が相互から離間配置される開放位置との間で選択的に移動可能である、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記アクチュエータは、前記スリットが前記閉鎖位置に位置付けられる第1の位置と、前記スリットが前記開放位置に位置付けられる第2の位置との間で前記ハンドルの前記遠位端を中心として選択的に回転可能である、請求項2に記載の器具。
- 前記スリットは、前記長手方向軸を中心に延在するらせん状スリットである、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記スリットは、長手方向スリットである、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記棒の前記前端は、非外傷性先端を画定する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 子宮頸部サンプリング器具であって、
遠位端及び長手方向軸を有するハンドルと、
前記長手方向軸に実質的に沿って前記ハンドルの前記遠位端から外側方向に延在する細長い棒であって、外表面、前端、及び前記ハンドルの前記遠位端に固定して装着される後端を有する、棒と、
前記ハンドルに回転的に結合されるアクチュエータであって、前記棒の一部分を回転的に受容するように寸法決定される第1の端に開口部を画定する、アクチュエータと、
前記棒の一部分を選択的に被包し、前記棒の前記前端に近接する前記棒の一部分及び前記アクチュエータの前記第1の端の一部分に固定して装着されるシースであって、前記シースの遠位端部分上のスリットであって対向する縁によって境界付けされるスリットを画定し、前記スリットが、前記スリットの前記対向する縁が前記サンプル収集孔を実質的に封止するように実質的に接合する閉鎖位置と、膣腔内に位置付けられたときに子宮頸部サンプルを選択的に得るために、前記スリットの前記対向する縁が相互から離間配置される開放位置との間で選択的に移動可能である、シースと
を備える、器具。 - 前記アクチュエータは、前記スリットが前記閉鎖位置に位置付けられる第1の位置と、前記スリットが前記開放位置に位置付けられる第2の位置との間で前記ハンドルの前記遠位端を中心として選択的に回転可能である、請求項7に記載の器具。
- 前記シースの前記遠位端部分と、前記シースの前記遠位端部分の下にある前記棒の前記外側表面の一部分とが、サンプル収集孔を画定する、請求項7に記載の器具。
- 前記スリットは、前記長手方向軸を中心に延在するらせん状スリットである、請求項7に記載の器具。
- 前記アクチュエータは、画定される複数の離間した雌穴をその上に有する内側周辺縁を有する内側孔を画定し、
前記の前記遠位端は、前記長手方向軸に遠位に沿って延在する雄突出部を画定し、
前記雄突出部は、それぞれの第1及び第2の位置の前記複数の離間した雌穴に選択的に受容されるように構成される複数の半径方向に付勢可能な基軸を画定する、請求項7に記載の器具。
