Claims (9)
- 低血糖ゾーン、正常血糖ゾーン、血糖上昇ゾーン及び高血糖ゾーンを含む血糖の4つの領域への分布に基づくmulti−zoneモデル予測制御(MPC)アルゴリズムを含み、
血糖濃度G>180mg/dLである前記高血糖ゾーンにおいて、制御作用は、過剰投与を防止するために抑制され、
血糖濃度140<G<180mg/dLである前記血糖上昇ゾーンにおいて、制御作用の大部分が実行され、
血糖濃度80<G<140mg/dLである前記正常上昇ゾーンにおいて、コントローラーは糖測定における偏差に対して休止し、
血糖濃度G<80mg/dLである前記低血糖ゾーンにおいて、前記コントローラーは、低血糖の可能性に対して迅速に応答できる、薬剤送達を制御するプログラム。 - 下記の論理スキームを含む、請求項1に記載のプログラム。
なお、前記論理スキームは、下記の(a)、(b)又は(c)を充足する。
(a)前記アルゴリズムが、下記のスケジュール(a−i)乃至(a−iv)に従った生理学的ゾーン(G)、及び、制御の重み(Q及びR)を提供する。
(a−i)G>=Gm+1の場合R1>>Ra;
(a−ii)G1は、送達の停止を生じさせる積極的作用を必要とする望ましくないゾーンであり、Q1>>>Q2、3、…、m;
(a−iii)望ましいゾーン、Qが0;
(a−iv)前記正常又は望ましいゾーンから大偏差(Gm)、Qm<Qm−1、しかし0ではない、及び<<Q1;
ここで、「>>」は、左辺が右辺よりも少なくとも1桁大きいことを意味し、「>>>」は左辺が右辺よりも少なくとも2桁大きいことを意味する。
(b)Q/Rが、4つの生理学的ゾーンに対して下記の条件(b−i)乃至(b−iv)を充足するa、b、c及びdとして定義される。
(b−i)a<b;
(b−ii)b/a>1×103;
(b−iii)c=0;ならびに
(b−iv)d>>>a、b及びc
(c)Q/Rが、4つの生理学的ゾーンに対して下記の条件(c−i)乃至(c−iv)を充足するa、b、c及びdとして定義される。
(c−i)aが2×10−4であり;
(c−ii)bが2であり;
(c−iii)c=0;及び
(c−iv)dが2×1010 - 請求項1に記載の前記プログラムを記憶する、コンピュータで読み取り可能な媒体。
- 入力接点、出力接点ならびに複数の定義された生理学的ゾーンを有し、それぞれが異なるあらかじめ定義された制御チューニングを有するmulti−zoneモデル予測制御(MPC)アルゴリズムを含み、前記アルゴリズムが前記入力接点において生理学的センサーからの入力シグナルを処理し、前記出力接点において薬剤注入器への出力シグナルを形成する、薬剤送達コントローラーであって、
前記コントローラーは、低血糖ゾーン、正常血糖ゾーン、血糖上昇ゾーン及び高血糖ゾーンを含む血糖の4つの領域への分布に基づくmulti−zoneモデル予測制御(MPC)アルゴリズムを含み、
血糖濃度G>180mg/dLである前記高血糖ゾーンにおいて、制御作用は、過剰投与を防止するために抑制され、
血糖濃度140<G<180mg/dLである前記血糖上昇ゾーンにおいて、制御作用の大部分が実行され、
血糖濃度80<G<140mg/dLである前記正常上昇ゾーンにおいて、前記コントローラーは糖測定における偏差に対して休止し、
血糖濃度G<80mg/dLである前記低血糖ゾーンにおいて、前記コントローラーは、低血糖の可能性に対して迅速に応答できる、薬剤送達コントローラー。 - (a)センサーによる生理学的計量を感知し、請求項5に記載のコントローラーの前記入力接点において結果として生じるシグナルを受けるステップ、
(b)前記入力シグナルを処理して、前記出力シグナルを形成するステップ、
(c)前記出力シグナルを前記出力接点から薬剤注入器に伝送するステップ、及び
(d)前記薬剤を前記注入器から前記出力シグナルに従って送達するステップ
を含む、薬剤を送達する方法。 - (a)対象に関する薬剤及び事象データを、時間値、薬剤値及び生理学的計量値を得るためのオープンループプロトコルを使用して得るステップ、
(b)複数の生理学的ゾーンを生理学的計量値の関数として定義するステップ、及び
(c)multi−zone−モデル予測制御(MPC)アルゴリズムを有するコントローラーを含む自動薬剤ポンプをプログラムし、
前記コントローラーが、対象から生理学的計量測定を得、前記生理学的計量と複数の生理学的ゾーンを比較し、前記MPCアルゴリズムに従って対象への前記薬剤の送達を起こすステップ
を含む、薬剤を送達する方法であって、
