Next, the operation will be described.
First, the processing contents from when the submarine exploration station moves to a predetermined sea area until it reaches the bottom of the sea will be described.
FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing the contents of processing that reaches the bottom of the sea after the seabed exploration station moves to a predetermined sea area.
First, the
When the
The topographic shape is measured by transmitting signals such as sound waves, light waves, radio waves, and lasers, and reflected back to the target (submarine, rock, underwater probe, maritime station, other submarine exploration stations, etc.) and returned. However, detailed description is omitted because the terrain shape measurement process itself is a known technique.
When the
At this time, the mechanism control unit 8 calculates the current position by inertial navigation, and navigates so that the own station does not deviate from the movement route. The current position of the own station is corrected as appropriate according to information received by the communication unit 7 (information transmitted from a marine station, land station, or the like).
The mechanism control unit 8 cannot navigate on the moving route when there is an obstacle on the moving route. Therefore, while the station is moving, the mechanism control unit 8 determines the terrain shape by the distance measuring /
If there is no obstacle on the movement path, the mechanism control unit 8 continues navigation on the movement path, but if there is an obstacle on the movement path, the
Here, as the new movement path, for example, when the volume of the obstacle is larger than the volume of the own station, a movement path in which the own station goes around the obstacle can be considered.
In addition, when the number of obstacles existing on the moving route is larger than a predetermined value, the area where the obstacle exists is bypassed without passing through the area where the obstacle exists. Such a movement route can be considered.
On the other hand, when the number of obstacles existing on the moving path is less than a predetermined value, if the distance between the obstacles is larger than the size of the own station, the own station navigates between the obstacles. A travel route is possible.
However, the description here is merely an example, and a new movement route can be set by combining various judgment criteria such as the number of obstacles, the interval between obstacles, and the volume of obstacles.

When observing the height difference of the sea bottom, the mechanism control unit 8 selects a region in the sea bottom where the height difference is within an allowable range, and determines that region as the landing region.
When the mechanism control unit 8 determines the bottom area, the mechanism control unit 8 controls the
If the height difference of the bottoming area is within an allowable range, the mechanism control unit 8 controls the bottoming
On the other hand, if the height difference of the landing area is larger than the allowable range, the
When the own station lands on the bottom of the sea, the

Next, processing contents when the submarine exploration station measures topographical shapes and the like will be described.
The observation mode is a mode in which the target around the landing area is observed. The distance measurement /

Next, processing contents when the submarine exploration station receives a communication request from an undersea probe as an external device and starts communication processing will be described.
FIG. 4 is a flowchart showing the processing contents when the submarine exploration station receives a communication request from the underwater probe and starts communication processing.
When making a communication request, a submarine probe that has approached the submarine exploration station transmits a prescribed signal (specific signal pattern) to the receiver opening surface of the ranging /
When the ranging /
When the
When measuring the S / N ratio, the communication unit 7 determines whether or not the S / N ratio is within an allowable range (S / N ratio range where communication is possible) (step ST13). If it deviates from the allowable range, a command for instructing retransmission of the prescribed signal is transmitted to the undersea probe (step ST14).
As a result, when the submarine spacecraft retransmits the prescribed signal, the processing of steps ST11 to ST13 is repeatedly performed. For example, when the prescribed number of retransmissions reaches the prescribed number, the data communication is performed as it is. It is judged that it is difficult to do so, a command to shorten the communication distance (command to instruct the undersea probe to approach the submarine survey station), or a command to readjust the transmission parameter (command to switch the signal transmission form) ) Is transmitted to the undersea probe (step ST14).
The command for switching the signal transmission form is, for example, a command indicating that the signal is transmitted by a laser when a prescribed signal is transmitted by radio waves. In addition, a command for instructing to transmit a prescribed signal via the docking mechanism 4 after the submarine spacecraft and the seafloor exploration station are docked is also included.
Thereby, for example, when a prescribed signal is retransmitted after the undersea probe further approaches the submarine exploration station, the processes of steps ST11 to ST13 are repeated.
If the SN ratio is within the allowable range, the communication unit 7 starts data communication with the undersea probe and continuously performs data communication (steps ST15 and ST16).
As data communication between the underwater probe and the communication unit 7, communication of a large amount of observation data by the underwater probe can be considered.
Further, data communication of the measurement result of the topographic shape by the distance measurement /
When the communication unit 7 performs data communication with an external base such as a land station or a maritime station, the communication unit 7 raises the antenna to the sea or a predetermined water depth, and then performs data communication to reduce the probability of communication error. Can be reduced. Alternatively, when the own station is moved to a predetermined depth, the communication unit 7 may perform data communication with the undersea probe or an external base.

As a power generation method, for example, when the own station is bottomed in a region where there is a tidal current, a tidal current power generation using the
However, the power generation method is not limited to tidal power generation, and a power generation method using natural energy such as a temperature difference or sunlight, a power generation method using a fuel cell, or the like can be considered.
Here, an example in which electric power is generated has been shown, but the communication unit 7 may receive power supply from the underwater probe or the like by transmitting an emergency signal to the underwater probe or the like.
In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, if an antenna buoyant body is levitated above the sea surface and a solar power generation sheet is deployed to replenish power, the current situation can be notified to an external base. The external base that has received the notification can determine whether or not to supply power to the station by using a subsea probe for supply.

In the second embodiment, an example is described in which a plurality of submarine exploration stations are attached to the bottom of the sea, and the plurality of submarine exploration stations form an observation network with an underwater probe, a marine station, a land station, and a satellite. To do.
FIG. 8 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of forming an observation network.
The submarine exploration station forming the observation network has the functions described in the first embodiment, and the distance measurement /
Next, the operation will be described.
When the plurality of submarine exploration stations are discharged from the land station or the offshore station and arrive at the sea area designated by the user, the operation mode of the own station is set to the bottoming mode and settles on the seabed.
The bottoming positions of multiple submarine exploration stations are programmed in advance so that they land at a position interval that enables distance measurement and communication between bases. The bottoming is performed with a distance.
When the plurality of submarine exploration stations land on the bottom of the sea, the
The communication units 7 of the plurality of submarine exploration stations start data communication with other submarine exploration stations, and transmit / receive status data indicating, for example, the power status of each other.
Here, the order of distance measurement and communication is the number No. assigned to each submarine exploration station. It is assumed that they are determined in ascending order.
For example, the order of ranging / communication at four submarine exploration stations can be configured as shown in FIG.
In this way, by arranging the order of ranging and communication in order, even if a submarine exploration station is added later or a missing number occurs, the order of ranging and communication can be assembled flexibly. It becomes possible.

At this time, as described above, the communication units 7 of the plurality of submarine exploration stations transmit / receive status data indicating the power status and the like to / from other submarine exploration stations. Knowing the power situation.

Therefore, the

Next, the operation of periodically performing data communication with external bases such as satellites, land stations, and maritime stations will be described.
In the second embodiment, periodic data communication with an external base is performed by a submarine exploration station having a margin of power stored in a battery among a plurality of submarine exploration stations. .
The submarine exploration station having the most power is determined by the
In this case, the determination results at a plurality of submarine exploration stations may differ, but in order to prevent this, station number No. for communication between each submarine exploration before communication to an external base is performed. If the determination result is different, the smallest number No. Of the seafloor exploration station on behalf of.
As is apparent from the above, according to the second embodiment, while monitoring the power status between the plurality of submarine exploration stations, the submarine exploration station having power reserves can accommodate power to the submarine explorer, Since data communication can be performed with an external base as a representative, it is possible to reduce power consumption of the submarine exploration station.
In addition, the distance between multiple submarine exploration stations is measured, and two-dimensional crustal movements are observed by obtaining the measurement results of the topographic shape of each submarine exploration station set in two dimensions. And more precise crustal movement information can be acquired.

Thereby, since the motor in the propulsion mechanism of the underwater explorer operates as a generator, electric power is generated, and the electric power is charged in the battery of the underwater explorer.
On the other hand, when power is supplied from the undersea probe to the submarine exploration station, the communication unit 7 transmits a rotation command of the propulsion mechanism to the submarine explorer (a method for transmitting the rotation command of the propulsion mechanism will be described later).

As shown in FIG. 11, the submarine exploration station includes a communication port 21 at a position facing the communication port of the undersea probe. For this reason, when docking is completed, the communication unit 7 of the submarine exploration station can perform data communication with the submarine spacecraft through the communication port 21.
Therefore, when the communication unit 7 transmits the rotation command of the propulsion mechanism to the undersea probe, the communication unit 21 transmits the rotation command.

In the submarine exploration station of FIG. 11, it is possible to separate electric members such as transmission cables for electric power and data communication from the docking mechanism 4, so that the member strength of the docking mechanism 4 can be made more robust.
Further, since it is not necessary to directly connect a power transmission cable when supplying electric power, there is no danger of discharge into water, and electric power can be supplied more safely.
Furthermore, since it is possible to improve the stability of wireless communication by configuring the communication ports to face each other at the time of docking, a simple configuration that does not require connection between devices of the data communication cable is possible.
