Description
請求項2に記載の発明は、請求項1に記載の押出機において、前記シリンダには、前記ホッパより上流側にリアベントが設けられ、前記液体供給装置と前記排出口は前記ホッパと前記リアベントの間に設けられていることを特徴とする押出機として構成される。
請求項3に記載の発明は、請求項1または2に記載の押出機において、前記冷却用液体は水からなり、前記液体供給装置は水を噴射する水噴霧装置から構成されていることを特徴とする押出機として構成される。
請求項4に記載の発明は、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の押出機において前記排出口には網体が設けられていることを特徴とする押出機として構成される。
実験条件:ホッパ5から供給する溶媒樹脂溶液は、ノルマルヘキサン20%を含むエチレンプロピレンジエンゴム(EPDM)とした。またリアベント7は大気圧に開放するようにした。実験で使用した本実施の形態に係る押出機1は、シリンダ2の一部を透明な材料から構成し、シリンダ2内を外部から視認できる、いわゆる可視化シリンダを使用した。
実験1:本実施の形態に係る押出機1において、水噴霧装置9を停止して溶媒樹脂溶液を処理した。すなわちノズル10からの水の噴霧を停止して溶媒樹脂溶液を処理した。10分間運転してスクリュ3に付着したエントレを調べた。スクリュ3にはノズル10近傍に対応する部分だけでなくリアベント7近傍に対応する部分においても多量のエントレの付着があった。図2の写真に示されているように、スクリュ3には多量のエントレの付着が見られる。
実験2:スクリュ3を清掃し、本実施の形態に係る押出機1において、水噴霧装置9を作動させ溶媒樹脂溶液を処理する実験を行った。すなわちノズル10から水を噴射して溶媒樹脂溶液を処理した。10分間運転してスクリュ3に付着したエントレを調べた。スクリュ3のリアベント7近傍に対応する部分には、エントレの付着は全く無かった。スクリュ3のノズル10近傍に対応する部分にわずかにエントレの付着が見られただけであった。図3の写真に示されているように、スクリュ3へのエントレの付着がほとんどないことが分かる。
考察:本実施の形態に係る押出機1は、水噴霧装置9によってシリンダ2内に水を噴射するとリアベント7近傍におけるエントレがほとんど発生しないことが確認できた。これによってエントレがリアベント7に堆積する可能性は実質的にほとんどないと言える。なお、実験1、2のいずれにおいても、押出機1から押し出されたエチレンプロピレンジエンゴムを調べたところ、ノルマルヘキサンの濃度は1000ppm以下であり、いずれも脱揮に関して同等の能力が得られることを確認した。

Claims (4)
- シリンダと、該シリンダ内で回転する1本または2本のスクリュとからなり、ホッパから揮発性物質を含む樹脂材料である溶媒樹脂溶液が供給されて該溶媒樹脂溶液が前記スクリュによって前記シリンダの下流に送られると前記揮発性物質が気化して前記シリンダに設けられているベントから脱揮されるようになっている押出機であって、
前記シリンダは、前記ホッパの上流側において、前記シリンダ内に冷却用液体を供給する液体供給装置が設けられていると共に前記シリンダの下部に開口する排出口が設けられていることを特徴とする押出機。 - 請求項1に記載の押出機において、前記シリンダには、前記ホッパより上流側にリアベントが設けられ、前記液体供給装置と前記排出口は前記ホッパと前記リアベントの間に設けられていることを特徴とする押出機。
- 請求項1または2に記載の押出機において、前記冷却用液体は水からなり、前記液体供給装置は水を噴射する水噴霧装置から構成されていることを特徴とする押出機。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の押出機において前記排出口には網体が設けられていることを特徴とする押出機。
