Description
本願は、2011年2月24日付けで出願された「撮像データにおける潜在異常を特定する方法及び装置並びに医用画像へのその応用」と題する米国仮特許出願第61/446,342号の優先権を主張し、当該出願の明細書を参照により援用する。
Claims (18)
- 撮像データにおける潜在異常を特定するシステムの作動方法であって、
所定異常を表す少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のセットを提供するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のそれぞれを識別する異常特性識別器を提供するステップと、
撮像データにおいて、第1特性を有する第1区域及び少なくとも1つの他の区域の群を特定するステップであり、前記少なくとも1つの他の区域のそれぞれは、前記第1特性とは異なる対応の特性を有するステップと、
前記第1区域及び前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群の特定から得られる移行区域を提供するステップであり、前記移行区域は、
前記第1区域と前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群とを分離する閉鎖区域、及び
前記第1区域及び前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群の一方に延びる閉鎖区域
からなる群から選択されるステップと、
選択区域の算出表示を提供するために少なくとも前記移行区域で前記少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のそれぞれを識別する前記異常特性識別器を適用するステップであり、前記選択区域は、少なくとも前記移行区域であるステップと、
前記選択区域の前記算出表示が前記少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のそれぞれと一致しているか否かを判定するステップと、
前記選択区域の前記算出表示が一致する場合には、潜在異常候補区域の表示を前記選択区域に割り当てることにより前記潜在異常を特定するステップと
を含む方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記撮像データは、撮像システムから得られるn次元データセットを含み、nは2以上である方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法において、前記n次元データセットは、2次元体積要素アレイ及び3次元体積要素アレイの一方である方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法において、前記n次元データセットは、磁気共鳴イメージング(MRI)デバイス、陽電子放射断層撮影(PET)デバイス、X線デバイス、超音波デバイス、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択したデバイスから得られる方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のセットは、組成関連情報、形状関連情報、撮像データ中の空間局在、及び経時的なそれらの組み合わせの少なくとも1つを含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記異常特性識別器は、組織密度判定、組織勾配均一性判定、組織特性の有無の判定、含水率/水分布の判定、所定の瞬間の又は経時的な造影剤の存在の判定及び分布の判定の少なくとも1つを含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記第1区域の前記第1特性は、確定空気領域を含み、前記少なくとも1つの他の区域のそれぞれの前記対応の特性は、確定組織領域を含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記第1区域の前記第1特性は、確定標識領域を含み、さらに、前記少なくとも1つの他の区域のそれぞれの前記対応の特性は、確定組織領域を含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記異常特性識別器を前記選択区域に適用するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記潜在異常の表示を提供するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法において、前記潜在異常の表示を提供するステップは、前記潜在異常の表示を記憶するステップ及び前記潜在異常の表示をユーザインタフェースに表示するステップの少なくとも一方を含む方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法において、前記潜在異常の表示を遠隔場所に伝送するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記撮像データは、ピクセル及びボクセルからなる群から選択した複数の単位画像要素を含む方法。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の撮像データにおける潜在異常を特定するシステムの作動方法を実施するための命令を記録した機械可読媒体。
- 撮像データにおける潜在異常を特定するシステムの作動方法であって、
撮像データを受け取るステップと、
前記撮像データにおいて、第1特性を有する第1区域及び少なくとも1つの他の区域の群を特定するステップであり、前記少なくとも1つの他の区域のそれぞれは、前記第1特性とは異なる対応の特性を有するステップと、
前記第1区域及び前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群の特定から得られる移行区域を提供するステップであり、前記移行区域は、
前記第1区域と前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群とを分離する閉鎖区域、及び
前記第1区域及び前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群の一方に延びる閉鎖区域
からなる群から選択されるステップと、
選択区域の算出表示を提供するために少なくとも前記移行区域で組織勾配均一性識別器を適用するステップであり、前記選択区域は、少なくとも前記移行区域であるステップと、
前記選択区域に関して前記算出表示が一致しているか否かを判定するステップと、
前記選択区域の前記算出表示が一致している場合には、潜在異常候補区域の表示を前記選択区域に割り当てることにより前記潜在異常を特定するステップと

前記データバスに動作可能に接続した中央処理ユニットと、
前記データバスに動作可能に接続したI/Oデバイスと、

前記データバスに動作可能に接続し、撮像データにおける潜在異常を特定する少なくとも1つのプログラムを備えたメモリであり、前記少なくとも1つのプログラムは、前記中央処理ユニットが実行するよう構成され、前記撮像データにおける潜在異常を特定する少なくとも1つのプログラムは、
少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のそれぞれを識別する異常特性識別器を適用する命令と、
前記撮像データにおいて、第1特性を有する第1区域及び少なくとも1つの他の区域の群を特定する命令であり、前記少なくとも1つの他の区域のそれぞれは、前記第1特性とは異なる対応の特性を有する命令と、
前記第1区域及び前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群の特定から得られる移行区域を提供する命令であり、前記移行区域は、前記第1区域と前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群とを分離する閉鎖区域及び前記第1区域及び前記少なくとも1つの他の区域の群の一方に延びる閉鎖区域からなる群から選択される命令と、
選択区域の算出表示を提供するために少なくとも前記移行区域で前記少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のそれぞれを識別する前記異常特性識別器を適用する命令であり、前記選択区域は、少なくとも前記移行区域である命令と、
前記選択区域の前記算出表示が前記少なくとも1つの所定異常特性のそれぞれと一致しているか否かを判定し、前記選択区域の前記算出表示が一致している場合には、潜在異常候補区域の表示を前記選択区域に割り当てることにより前記潜在異常を特定する命令と
