Description
本出願は、2014年9月12日に出願された先行出願第14/485,196号の一部継続出願であるとともに、2014年9月2日に出願された台湾特許出願第103215690号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、これらの特許出願はその全体が引用により本明細書に組み入れられる。
Claims (29)
- タッチ画面部分と下降する外周部とを含む前面を有するポータブル電子装置のためのガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタであって、
表側及び裏側と、前記装置の外側バンド部に対応する外側バンド部とを有するとともに、前記タッチ画面部分に寸法が対応する透明ウィンドウ部分を有するガラスシートと、
前記ガラスシートの外周部に沿って設けられた、前記透明ウィンドウをほぼ連続的に取り巻くスペーサと、
を備え、前記スペーサは、前記ガラスシートの周辺部に向かって厚みが増加するとともに、前記ガラスシートを前記タッチ画面部分に近接はするが接触しないよう離間させて、それにより前記ガラスシートと前記タッチ画面部分との間に空気ギャップを形成するのに十分な厚みを有し、
前記スペーサは、取り外し及び再取り付けを繰り返せるような接着強度を有する、前記ポータブル装置に面した露出接着剤を含み、
前記ガラスシートと前記タッチ画面部分の間の距離は、前記ガラスシートに触れた時に前記タッチ画面部分上の容量値を可能にする、
ことを特徴とするガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記ガラスシートの前記周辺部に向かって広がる前記スペーサの前記増加する厚みは、前記ポータブル電子装置の前記前面の前記下降する外周部における対応する傾斜した下降部に一致する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記スペーサの前記増加する厚みは、前記ガラスシートの前記周辺部に向かって傾斜する連続的な傾斜面を形成する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記スペーサはエラストマを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記エラストマは、前記ガラスシートの前記周辺部に向かって傾斜する連続的な傾斜面を有するように成形される、
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記露出接着剤は、前記傾斜面上に施される、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記ガラスは、前記ポータブル電子装置の通常の使用中に前記ガラスシートに圧力が加わった時に、屈曲して前記タッチ画面部分に接触しないように十分な剛性を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記スペーサは、前記ガラスシートを前記タッチ画面部分から0.01mm〜0.2mmだけ離間させる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記露出接着剤はシリコーン接着剤である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記ガラスシートは、前記スペーサを受容する周辺部に不透明なバンド部を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記装置の前記前面は、前記装置の周辺部に非機能的バンド部を有し、前記装置上に前記プロテクタを接着剤で取り付けた際に、前記スペーサが前記タッチ画面部分の使用を妨げないよう、前記スペーサの幅は、前記バンド部に一致するように、又は該バンド部内に収まるように選択される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記装置上に前記プロテクタを容易に取り付けるための、前記装置上の1又は2以上のボタンに実質的に対応する1又は2以上の位置合わせ穴をさらに含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記装置の前記タッチ画面及び前記ガラスシートの各々は実質的に長方形であり、前記タッチ画面は、電話機、読書装置、音楽装置、視覚装置又はナビゲーション装置の一部である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記スペーサは、複数の接着剤層を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記複数の接着剤層の各接着剤層は、前記ガラスシートとほぼ平行に水平に積み重なる、
ことを特徴とする請求項14に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記複数の接着剤層の各連続する接着剤層は、前記スペーサが厚みを増すにつれて前の層よりも長さが短くなる、
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記複数の接着剤層の各連続する層は、前記スペーサが厚みを増すにつれて、前記ガラスシートの前記周辺部から広がる距離が短くなり、前記複数の接着剤層の端部は、前記ガラスシートの前記周辺部に向かう方向に沿って前記ガラスシートからの高さが増す一連の段部を形成する、
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記露出接着剤は、前記一連の段部上に層として施されて連続する傾斜面を形成する、ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。
- 前記スペーサは、間隙によって周辺部方向に横向きに分離された2又は3以上の別個の構造を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 各別個の構造は、露出接着剤を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項19に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 各別個の構造は、複数の接着剤層を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項19に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記別個の構造の各々は、前記露出接着剤を有する単体エラストマ構造である、
ことを特徴とする請求項19に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記2又は3以上の別個の構造は、間隙によって分離された内側スペーサ部材及び外側スペーサ部材を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項19に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記外側スペーサ部材は、前記内側スペーサ部材よりも大きな厚みを有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項23に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記内側スペーサ部材及び前記外側スペーサ部材の各々は、複数の接着剤層で構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項23に記載のガラス製タッチ画面プロテクタ。 - 前記内側スペーサ部材及び前記外側スペーサ部材の各々は、前記露出接着剤を含む単体構造で構成される、
