Description
Claims (9)
- 磁気共鳴撮像(MRI)誘導による外科的処置のための外科用留め具撮像システムであって:
留め具材料を有する磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具であり、前記留め具材料の中又は表面にMR造影剤を備える磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具;及び
前記磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具の画像を生成するように適応されたMRI装置;
を有し、
前記磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具は、
前記MR造影剤を含み又は前記MR造影剤でコートされたストランドであり、前記MR造影剤を備えない他の縫合糸ストランド内に織り合わされ又は編まれたストランド、
を有するマルチストランド縫合糸を含み、
当該外科用留め具撮像システムは更に:
複数の異なるMR造影剤に対応する複数の撮像シーケンスを格納するシーケンスメモリ;
前記縫合糸に使用されているMR造影剤の種類を当該外科用留め具撮像システムに対してユーザが指し示すことを可能にするユーザインタフェース;及び
前記磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具を用いる外科的処置の最中又は後に患者を撮像するときに、前記指し示されたMR造影剤の種類の関数として前記シーケンスメモリから撮像シーケンスを選択し、且つ前記MRI装置を制御して、前記選択した撮像シーケンスを実行させ、前記縫合糸の画像を生成させる、ように適応された制御プロセッサ;
を含むシステム。 - 前記MR造影剤は常磁性造影剤を含み、前記制御プロセッサはT1撮像シーケンスを選択して実行し、前記MRI装置は、再構成プロセッサによって前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具の画像に再構成されてユーザインタフェース上でユーザに提示されるT1強調画像データを生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記MR造影剤は超常磁性造影剤を含み、前記制御プロセッサは、T2撮像シーケンス、T2*撮像シーケンス又は感受性強調撮像シーケンスのうちの少なくとも1つを選択して実行し、それぞれ、前記MRI装置は、再構成プロセッサによって前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具の画像に再構成されてユーザインタフェース上でユーザに提示されるT2強調画像データ、T2*強調画像データ又は感受性強調画像データを生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記MR造影剤は反磁性物質を含み、前記制御プロセッサは、T2撮像シーケンス、T2*撮像シーケンス又は感受性強調撮像シーケンスのうちの少なくとも1つを選択して実行し、それぞれ、前記MRI装置は、再構成プロセッサによって前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具の画像に再構成されてユーザインタフェース上でユーザに提示されるT2強調画像データ、T2*強調画像データ又は感受性強調画像データを生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記MR造影剤は、脂肪組織又は水の中の水素原子に対して検出可能な化学シフトを有し、前記制御プロセッサは分光イメージングシーケンスを選択して実行し、前記MRI装置は、再構成プロセッサによって前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具の画像に再構成されてユーザインタフェース上でユーザに提示される分光データを生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記MR造影剤は、脂肪組織又は水の中の水素原子の周波数とは異なる周波数でMR信号を生成し、前記MRI装置は、前記MR造影剤の前記周波数に調整されて前記MR造影剤の前記周波数に調整されたRFコイルによって検出されるRF励起パルスを発することによって、画像データを生成し、前記画像データは、再構成プロセッサによって前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具の画像に再構成されてユーザインタフェース上でユーザに提示される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記MR造影剤は超短エコー時間を有し、前記制御プロセッサは、超短エコー時間を有する自動誘導減衰(FID)撮像シーケンスを選択して実行し、前記MRI装置は、再構成プロセッサによって前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具の画像に再構成されてユーザインタフェース上でユーザに提示される画像データを生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記外科的処置は、管状の生体構造を連結する関節鏡処置を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 留め具材料を有する磁気共鳴可視外科用留め具を埋め込む外科的処置の最中又は後に被検体を撮像する撮像システムの作動方法であって、
前記留め具材料の中又は表面にMR造影剤が備えられ、
前記留め具材料は、
前記MR造影剤を含み又は前記MR造影剤でコートされたストランドであり、前記MR造影剤を備えない他の縫合糸ストランド内に織り合わされ又は編まれたストランド、
を有するマルチストランド縫合糸を含み、
当該作動方法は:
前記縫合糸に使用されているMR造影剤の種類がユーザインタフェースを介してユーザにより指し示されることの後に、制御プロセッサが、複数の異なるMR造影剤に対応する複数の撮像シーケンスを格納したシーケンスメモリから、前記指し示されたMR造影剤の種類の関数として、実行すべき磁気共鳴撮像(MRI)シーケンスを選択するステップ;
選択された撮像シーケンスを実行し、MRIデータを生成するステップ;
前記被検体及び前記縫合糸の画像を再構成するステップ;及び
前記被検体及び前記縫合糸の画像をユーザに提示するステップ;
を含む、作動方法。
