Description
Definition)映像のような高解像度、高品質な映像への需要が、多様な応用分野において増加しつつある。映像データが高解像度、高品質になるほど既存の映像データに比べて相対的にデータ量が増加するため、既存の有無線の広帯域ネットワークのような媒体を用いて映像データを伝送するか、既存の記憶媒体を用いて記憶する場合、伝送コストと記憶コストが増加する。映像データが高解像度、高品質化になることで発生するこのような問題を解決するためには、高効率の映像圧縮技術が活用されることができる。
search−based Block Matching Algorithm)、TSS(Three Step Search)、NTS(New Three−Step
Search Algorithm)など多様な方法が使用されることができる。動きベクトルは、補間された画素に基づいて1/2または1/4画素単位の動きベクトル値を持つことができる。動き予測部では、動き予測方法を異ならせて現在予測単位を予測することができる。動き予測方法として、スキップ(Skip)法、マージ(Merge)法、AMVP(Advanced Motion Vector Prediction)法など多様な方法が使用されることができる。
Claims (6)
- 映像信号を復号化する方法であって、
空間的なマージ候補ブロックが既に復号化されたか否かを決定するステップと、
並列的なマージレベル情報に基づいて、前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックが、現在予測ブロックと同一のMER(Motion Estimation Region)に含まれるか否かを決定するステップと、
前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックが既に復号化され、かつ前記現在予測ブロックと前記同一のMERに含まれていないとき、前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックは、前記現在予測ブロックの画面間予測のために利用可能なマージ候補ブロックであると決定するステップと、
前記現在予測ブロックのマージ候補リストを発生するステップであって、前記マージ候補リストは、前記利用可能なマージ候補ブロックを含む、ステップと、
前記マージ候補リストに基づいて、前記現在予測ブロックの動き情報を取得するステップと、
前記動き情報を用いて、前記現在予測ブロックの予測サンプルを取得するステップと、
前記予測サンプルと、前記現在予測ブロックに関連する残差サンプルを用いて、前記現在予測ブロックを再整列するステップと、
を備え、
前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックは、前記現在予測ブロックと隣接する少なくとも一つの隣接ブロックを含み、前記隣接ブロックは、左側で隣接するブロック、上側で隣接するブロック、右上側で隣接するブロック、左下側で隣接するブロック、左上側で隣接するブロックを含み、
前記MERの大きさが8×8であり、符号化ブロックの大きさが8×8であり、前記隣接ブロックの少なくとも一つが、前記MERの外部に位置する置き換えブロックに変更され、
前記符号化ブロックは、寸法が8×4又は4×8の前記現在予測ブロックを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記並列的なマージレベル情報は、前記MERの大きさに関連することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックが前記現在予測ブロックと同じMERに含まれるか否かは、前記並列的なマージレベル情報に加えて、位置情報を用いて決定され、前記位置情報は、前記現在予測ブロックの位置情報と前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックの位置情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記現在予測ブロックの前記位置情報のビットシフト操作から生じた値は、前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックの前記位置情報のビットシフト操作から生じた値と同一でないとき、前記空間的なマージ候補ブロックは、前記現在予測ブロックと同一のMER内に含まれていないと決定することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記ビットシフト操作は、前記並列的なマージレベル情報を用いて実行されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記置き換えブロックは、置き換えられた前記隣接ブロックと同じ水平又は垂直ライン上に位置し、前記置き換えブロックは、前記符号化ブロックに隣接することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
