- 液体と接触する接触面の変化を利用したエネルギー変換装置であって、
間隔をもって互いに対向するように位置する第1電極基板及び第2電極基板と;
前記第1電極基板及び前記第2電極基板と接触するイオン性液体または水であって、各電極基板との間で接触面が変化する前記イオン性液体または水と;
前記第1電極基板及び前記第2電極基板のうち少なくとも一つに形成されたエネルギー変換層であって、前記接触面の変化に従って電気エネルギーを発生する前記エネルギー変換層と;を含み、
前記エネルギー変換層は、無機物層、有機物層、または有機物と無機物の混合物層のうち少なくとも一つの層を含み、
前記エネルギー変換層上に、前記イオン性液体または水と接触する前記接触面の変化を容易にするように疎水性物質層が積層されていることを特徴とするエネルギー変換装置。 - 前記有機物層及び/または前記無機物層は、前記イオン性液体または水と接触する前記接触面を広げるための構造物を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエネルギー変換装置。
- 前記エネルギー変換装置が少なくとも1つの他のエネルギー変換装置にアレイ形態で連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエネルギー変換装置。
- 前記エネルギー変換装置と前記少なくとも1つの他のエネルギー変換装置を含む複数のエネルギー変換装置を構成する複数の基板のうち少なくとも一部は、共通の支持構造によって支持されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のエネルギー変換装置。
- 前記電極基板の少なくとも一つは、前記イオン性液体または水への浸漬の程度が変化するように移動することによって、電気エネルギーを発生することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエネルギー変換装置。
- 前記疎水性物質層は、シラン系物質、フルオロ重合体物質、卜リクロロシラン、トリメトキシシラン、ペンタフルオロフェニルプロピルトリクロロシラン、(ベンジルオキシ)アルキルトリメトキシシラン(BSM−22)、(ベンジルオキシ)アルキルトリクロロシラン(BTS)、ヘキサメチルジシラザン(HMDS)、オクタデシルトリクロロシラン(OTS)、オクタデシルトリメトキシシラン(OTMS)、ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン−ビス(ベンゾシクロブテン)(BCB)のうち少なくとも一つの物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエネルギー変換装置。

- 液体と接触する接触面の変化を利用したエネルギー変換装置であって、
間隔をもって互いに対向するように位置する第1電極基板及び第2電極基板と;
前記第1電極基板及び前記第2電極基板と接触する伝導性液体であって、各電極基板の接触面が変化する前記伝導性液体と;
前記第1電極基板および前記第2電極基板のうち少なくとも一つに形成されたエネルギー変換層であって、前記接触面の変化に従って電気エネルギーを発生する前記エネルギー変換層と;を含み、
前記エネルギー変換層は、無機物層、有機物層、および有機物と無機物の混合物層のうち少なくとも一つの層を含み、
前記エネルギー変換層上に、前記伝導性液体と接触する前記接触面の変化を容易にするような親水性物質層が積層されていることを特徴とするエネルギー変換装置。 - 前記有機物層または前記無機物層は、前記伝導性液体接触する前記接触面を広げるための構造物を持つことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のエネルギー変換装置。

酸化シリコン(SiO2)、酸化チタン(TiO2)、酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、酸化タンタル(Ta2O5)、五酸化タンタル(Tantalum Pentoxide)、酸化亜鉛(ZnO)、五酸化タンタル(Ta2O5)、酸化イットリウム(Y2O3)、酸化セリウム(CeO2)、二酸化チタン(TiO2)、チタン酸バリウム(BaTiO3)、バリウムジルコネートチタネート(BZT)、二酸化ジルコニウム(ZrO2)、酸化ランタン(La2O3)、ハフニウムシリケート(HfSiO4)、ランタンアルミネート(LaAlO3)、窒化ケイ素(Si3N4)、灰チタン石物質としては、ストロンチウムチタネート(SrTiO3)、バリウムストロンチウムチタネート(BST)、チタン酸ジルコン酸鉛(PZT)、チタン酸カルシウム銅(CCTO)、または酸化ハフニウム(HfO2)、アパタイト(A10(MO4)6(X)2)、水酸化燐灰石(Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2)、リン酸三灰石(Ca3(PO4)2)、Na2O−CaO−SiO2、およびバイオガラス(CaO−SiO2−P2O5)のうち少なくとも一つの物質を含む無機物層と;
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のエネルギー変換装置。 - 前記第1電極基板または前記第2電極基板は、電極を含み、
前記電極は、ITO、IGO、クロム、アルミニウム、IZO(Indium Zinc Oxide)、IGZO(Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide)、ZnO、ZnO2およびTiO2のうち少なくとも一つを含む無機電極であるか、白金、金、銀、アルミニウム、鉄または銅のうち少なくとも一つを含む金属電極であるか、PEDOT(polyethylenedioxythiophene)、炭素ナノチューブ(CNT)、グラフェン(graphene)、ポリアセチレン、ポリチオフェン(PT)、ポリピロール、ポリパラフェニレン(polyparaphenylene、PPV)、ポリアニリン、ポリ硫黄窒化物、ステンレススチール、クロムを10%以上含有する鉄合金、SUS304、SUS316、SUS316L、Co−Cr合金、Ti合金、ニチノール(Ni−Ti)およびポリパラフェニレンビニレン(polyparaphenylenevinylene)のうち少なくとも一つを含む有機電極であることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のエネルギー変換装置。 - 前記第1電極基板または前記第2電極基板のうち少なくとも一つは、金属基板、ガラス基板、セラミック基板または高分子素材の基板であり、
前記高分子素材の基板は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリアリレート(polyarylate、PAR)、メタクリル酸ポリメチル(PMMA)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)、ポリエーテルスルホン(PES)、ポリイミド(PI)、ポリカーボネート(PC)および繊維強化プラスチック(FRP)のうち少なくとも一つを含むプラスチック基板またはフィルムであり、
前記セラミック基板は、アルミナ(Al2O3)、酸化ベリリウム(BeO)、窒化アルミニウム(AlN)、炭化ケイ素、ムライトおよびシリコンのうち少なくとも一つを含むセラミック材料を利用した基板であることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のエネルギー変換装置。 - 前記第1電極基板と前記第2電極基板との間に配置された非伝導性ガス;をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のエネルギー変換装置。
- 前記非伝導性ガスは、空気、酸素、窒素、アルゴン、ヘリウム、ネオン、クリプトン、キセノンおよびラドンのうち少なくとも一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項18に記載のエネルギー変換装置。
