Description
従って、特性化されたビーム放射線源に基づいて体外照射治療計画の作成を支援する放射線ビームの特性化が可能であることが必要である。特性化されたビーム放射線源を使用して組織線量測定を計測するとき、体外照射治療法において照射される放射線量を実測する方法を有することが必要とされており、これにより実測に基づいて治療計画を変更することができるようになるであろう。このようにして、治療過程において放射線の望ましい線量レベルおよび分布がより正確に供給されるかもしれない。

Claims (10)
- 放射線検出器であって、
シンチレーション物質で構成され、環状配列された複数のファイバーを有し、
前記環状配列された複数のファイバーは、中空カテーテル壁の環状周部に沿って互いに均等に離間するように配置されたものであり、かつ
前記環状配列された複数のファイバーは、それらへの入射放射線を検出・測定するための光検出器に接続されているものである
放射線検出器。 - 請求項1記載の放射線検出器において、前記環状配列された複数のファイバーは、少なくとも4つ以上である放射線検出器。
- 請求項1記載の放射線検出器において、前記シンチレーション物質の相対位置および長さの相違の程度は既知であり、前記シンチレーション物質の各々によって生成される信号は異なる相対位置にある放射線量と相関関係にあるものである放射線検出器。
- 請求項1記載の放射線検出器において、前記入射放射線は、X線放射線、電子放射線、およびハドロン放射線のうちの1つを含む治療ビーム放射線を有するものである放射線検出器。
- 請求項1記載の放射線検出器において、前記放射線検出器は、放射線照射ガイド、患者固定装置、患者位置決め装置、および放射線照射装置のうちの1つに一体化されるものである放射線検出器。
- 請求項1記載の放射線検出器において、請求項1記載の放射線検出器はカテーテルを有するものである放射線検出器。
- 請求項1記載の放射線検出器において、前記入射放射線は、X線、X線透視法、陽電子放出断層撮影法(positron emission tomography:PET)、単一光子放出型コンピュータ断層撮影法(single photon emission computed tomography:SPECT)、分子イメージング、およびコンピュータ断層撮影法(computerized tomography:CT)のうちの1つを含む画像検査若しくは診断法に伴う放射線を有するものである放射線検出器。
- 請求項1に記載の放射線検出器において、前記環状配列された複数のファイバーは、前記中空カテーテル壁の環状周部を実質的に包囲するものである放射線検出器。
- 請求項1に記載の放射線検出器において、前記環状配列された複数のファイバーは、前記中空カテーテルとは独立した構成部分であり、前記中空カテーテルに挿入可能である放射線検出器。
- 放射線検出器の作動方法であって、
環状配列された複数のファイバーを、当該環状配列された複数のファイバーにおける入射放射線を検出・測定する光検出器に接続する工程を有し、
前記環状配列された複数のファイバーは、シンチレーション物質で構成され、かつ環状周部に沿って互いに均等に離間するように配置されたものであり、
前記検出・測定された入射放射線に基づいて治療計画が変更されるものである、方法。
