Claims (2)
- 金属ワーク又は金属部品の被処理部に放電エネルギーを利用して耐摩耗性又は耐エロージョン性のある被膜を形成する放電表面処理方法において、
前記金属ワーク又は前記金属部品はチタン又はチタン合金からなるものであって、
固体シリコンからなる放電電極を用い、加工油中で前記放電電極と前記金属ワーク又は前記金属部品の被処理部との間にパルス状の放電を発生させることにより、その放電エネルギーにより前記金属ワーク又は前記金属部品の母材と前記加工油中に含まれる炭素を反応させつつ、前記金属ワーク又は前記金属部品の被処理部の表面を改質して、前記金属ワーク又は前記金属部品の被処理部に前記被膜を形成する、放電表面処理方法。 - 前記放電電極を構成する固体シリコンは、N型又はP型の単結晶の固体シリコンである、請求項1に記載の放電表面処理方法。
